  1. Larkhara kar ghiru tho zubaan se ya ali nikale!
  2. Whereas gurmat doesn't hold any methodological problems? I think Jacques Derrida would disagree, and I'm pretty sure you have acquainted yourself with Deconstruction and differance. In the words of Derrida: ‘Negative theologies are always just detours on the way to even higher, more sublime affirmations. They are ways of saying in even stronger terms that an entity, namely God, exists: he exists so deeply, so thoroughly, so purely, so perfectly, that we even have to take the word ‘is’ back if and when we say it. Negative theologies are modified onto-theo-logies, variations on the philosophy of presence which always turn out to be philosophies of super presence. And so if we find ourselves saying that differance is neither a word nor a concept, that there is no name for what we mean to say when we say differance, that is not because we have stumbled upon, or been overtaken by, a being of such super-eminence that words fail us. It is because we have in mind the conditions under which words are formed in the first place, and the ‘word’ for that is a kind of non-word, anterior to words, the general condition or rule of formation for words.’ I don't think guru Nanak Devji was concerned with what is 'methodologically correct'. If you don't understand what I mean, I suggest you read Timothy Freake on mystic traditions. Admin, I realise we've gone off-topic - you might want to start a new thread for this.
  3. Haha that is a joke... And everything is 'necessarily fact' on this forum? That topic and Javanmard's angle of things was one of the best topics in a long time. Jai SOAS
  4. John is right. Dynamic Banda is right.
  5. Just quickly... 'Bhasha' means 'language' and is not a script. There is no such thing as far as I know as 'Sant Lipi' (Script of Saints). Though Sanskrit is known to be the bhasha of the devas and the aksharas (letters) of the script used to write Sanskrit and Hindi (Devanagari) are seen to be parts of the body of Shivji Maharaj. Gurmukhi is a script. There are theories that it is a descendant of Sharda (a Kashmiri script) and Landa (for more info. go to http://www.ancientscripts.com/landa.html). Can't comment on the meeting of guru Nanak Devji Maharaj and Kabirji.
  6. drawrof, could you please tell me where I could get hold of the text from which you quoted. Many thanks...
  7. I can't see the first picture, and many other pictures on this forum. N30 S!NGH could you tell me what settings I have to change for Internet Explorer. Thank You P.S I really need to see that pic.
  8. "bucket-head", tu sharabi sharabi. You know sufi bande have alot of pyar for you. Teach me something sometime. So "Jamdhoot", answer the question... Who can better explain religion?... voice an opinion on that... LOL "Jamdhoot", I think Mr. Suicide Bomber and Mrs. Evangelist Converter will disagree with your definition of religion. Would be nice if the ‘West’ agreed to change the meaning of a word they themselves created to mean “realisation of His Naamâ€. Nice
  9. Haha nice one, usually I wait for somone to answer just so that I can play 'devil's advocate', but you mentioning 'hukam' made me go weak in the knees.. haha. Contentment in life boils down to acceptance of hukam... Now it depends on how you understand or define hukam. Which is also hukam....yay!! Now I'm talking about contentment in life, not religion/sikhISM, before you get all emotional 'Awarenss'.
  10. The lady in the video is going into 'vir asan'. Vir - Warrior Asan - Pose But I think she's not executing it correctly because her right arm is pointing upwards and so her shoulders are not alligned.
  11. I think N30 S!NGH is saying the insider can better explain it, since he is using esoteric terminology, such as atamgyani/bhramgyani, assuming there is an atma and there is bhram. Religion for him, revolves around these 'understandings' which have been passed down by the gnostics of the past. warrIor_eSSence... Is N30's quote very true? If so will everyone elses perspective be untrue? If not then can there be more than one truth? If so then what is truth? I know who you are warrIor_essence, and I know u now know who I am, and we all know each other so lets spin in a circle and be merry. Oooo look i can see a rainbow out of my window, and some sheep. lolll i'm only messing around in this post, and being aukha on purpose. Im messing up your post hahahaha im SO bored rabb raakha
