I agree with you. I respect the guy as a Kathakar, parcharak. But I woudn't put him in the same line as Sant Ishar Singh Jee. I would instead put Bhai Ranjit Singh Dadriawala in the same line as Bhai Balwant Singh Rangeela or Bhai Jagadri. I hope Ranjit Singh Dadriawala does more and more parchar, especially outside states within India to the very poor. They would take to Sikhi at no time.

Western political correctness is actually counter productive. Sikhs for the last 100 years, and more so for the last 40 years have been trying so hard in trying to fit Sikhi into western political correctness, some how hoping that Sikhi will appear more acceptable to secularists and westerners. This political correctness along with our Hindu phobia really annoys me at times. I don't know about you guys, but I doubt a self respecting Singh out there would want his wife, sister, daughter climbing up a pole while hundres of men watch from below.

For a person in Kaliyug not being a womaniser is a pretty big thing. Many Sants, Sadhus have given into Kaam. It's only natural when you have so many women devotees who serve you with full faith. Under normal circumstances any man might actually give in to temptation. We all know Bhai Ranjit Singh Dandariawala is no high avasthaa wala Gursikh. In fact my personal opinion is that his spiritual state is about the same as the average Raagi/Kirtani. He is very young right now. He is at an age when men feel a lot of kaam and being in the position he is in, it's very easy to give in to temptation. Yet despite all complaints against him, I have never heard of him being involved in a sexual scandal. For a young man with no extra ordinary spiritual state, yet not having sexual scandals is worthy of respect. All he really does is just kirtan and tell some nice Dharmic stories. If such actions brings people into doing more Paath, increase Shardhaa, then I see nothing wrong. Of course the problem arises when his Chele and the average people began making him out to be a super human Brahmgiani. In fact, I remember some people a few years ago even going to the extent of claiming that he might be a reincarnation of Sant Jernail Singh Jee Bhindrawalay. In the end he could not live up to people’s expectations of him. The problem is not Ranjit Singh Dandriawala, the problem is people. Punjabi people start giving Brahmgiani status to just about anyone with the word Sant attached to their name. They don’t realise that term can’t just be used for anyone. Men like the Bhindrawala Sants like Sant Gurbachan Singh Jee, Sant Kartar Singh Jee, Sant Jarnail Singh Jee or even Sants of other groups like Baba Bir Singh Naurangabad, Baba Karam Singh Jee Hotimardan, Sant Attar Singh Jee Mastuanay, Sant Ishar Singh Jee, Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh Jee. These great men were Brahmgianis. I just can’t imagine placing any tom dick and harry into that divine category men. But our people still do, and that’s where the problem begins. At the same time, I believe that people can be of very high spiritual states yet still not be a Brahmgiani. That is what we need to understand. Coming back to the point, Ranjit Singh Dandriawala is not a bad person. He’s not perfect, but he’s not a bad person. For people of a certain mental level he actually brings people into Sikhi.

Unbreakable does have a point. Why do we need yognis to protect a Singh of Guru Gobind Singh Jee? Wouldn't Guru Gobind Singh Jee protect his own Khalsa?

Mit, don't listen to that Giani. He obviously has very little sense to begin with. He had no right to act like he did with you. Only fortunate people get to do seva at a Gurdwara. So many billions of people never even get to enter a Gurdwara in their life time. When I had not taken amrit I also had a similar experience, but I just ignored it thinking maybe I must have done something in a previous life to him because of which I had to see this today. Sikhs do not keep Vair-Virodh for anyone. We need to feel compassion even for the worst of villains. You have a very impressive Nitnem. Keep up the great work man. Even most Amritdharis do not do as much paath as you do. By doing Paath and doing Seva at a Gurdwara, you are literally cleaning Janam-Janam dhi Mail from your mann. Also, I just want to add that before the 1699, Sikhs did have a Amrit ceremony. It was called Charan Amrit. The Tenth master turned it into Khanday Dha Amrit.

In my opinion, doing Jaap of Naam or Gurbani is better than any thing when wanting protection against black magic, Jadoo-Tonaa. Just within Guru Granth Sahib Jee we have many Shabad which can be recited for protection. Just open a Taksali Sundar Gutka and read the Rakhiyaa Dhe Shabad(right before Kirtan Sohila) which also protects against such negative entities, Jadoo-Tonaa.

This is the most shocking thing I have ever seen. They are worst than SGPC. In fact I would say they are just as bad as Chattar Singh Jivan Singh group which also does this to Saroops of Mahraj.

I highly doubt that this website is run the the Mehta group which us under Baba Harnam Singh Jee Dhuma because Baba Dhuma Jee beleives Sant Jee is Shaheed while on the website it says: In March 1983 Sant Jee learnt of all these evil plans and the prevalent threats to Sikhs and devised strategies to lead the Sikhs through this critical and historically definitive period. He attempted to ensure that the dreams of the enemies of the Panth were not prosperous, and that the cause of the Sikhs received global media attention. The Abrahamic religions like Islam(Sunnis), Christianity(Catholics, American Christianity) seem to always make us fear God. While Indic Bhakti cults, Sufi cults, Sikhi shows us to love God with all our hearts. I think that PremaBhagti is the way to go. Jin Prem Kio, Tin Hi Prabh Payo. If you read Sufi poetry by the likes of Rumi, Baba Farid Jee, Bulle Shah you get the message of love, same with Bhagti cults like Gaudiya Matt of Sri Chaitanya whose message is very similar to Sikhi(in my opinion). He also preaches PremeBhagti. Our way is that of love. But at the same time I think that fear for God and only God should also exist, just as a dog(kookar) fears yet loves his master. Only through Prema Bhagti can we get Charan Kamal of our master Vaheguru.

I don't think they are hostile to one another. They are all Guru Ke Singh. In a way maybe this is a blessing for the panth. More Taksals means more Gurmat Vidya will be spread in the Panth which is very badly needed. In fact I think there should by hundreds of Taksals in Punjab. Taksal during Sant Baba Gurbachan Singh Jee's period was a traveling university and not stationary like it has become. I hope one of these groups also starts a similar mode of Parchar in India because Parchar is what is lacking currently in the Panth. The 3rd group is also more youthful as compared to the first two groups.

If it is run by the sevadars of Mehta, then why don't they show Baba Harnam Singh Dhuma Jee's picture along with other Jathadars? After Baba Takhur Singh Jee went to Sachkhand, there are now three groups. -one is Baba Harnam Singh Dhumas Jee's group (running Mehta) -second is Baba Ram Singh Jee's group. -and there is a third group which still beleives Sant Jarnail Singh Jee is not Shaheed. They are a more militant type group as I have heard, and they are really good Gursikhs who stand up for the Panth. I think that this website is probably run by people belonging to the third group because it does not have Dhumas Jee or Baba Ram Singh Jee's pictures in it.

Matheen, Ikagartha is what is most needed. The Mann always starts to day dream or random thoughts begin to pop up in the mind. I just do simran of the Gurmantar right after doing my Nitnem in the morning. The more you read bani, the more you realise that it is Simran of the Gurmantar that is being stressed by the Gurus and I feel that is what should be done more than anything else. Also when you read books on Mahpursh like Baba Karam Singh HotiMardan you realise it is Naam Simran which needs to be done. But getting concentration is a real challenge. The mind goes in all directions. That suggestion of doing Ardas is a very good advice.

When doing simran, you get so many thoughts and images in your mann about your daily life which really distracts you from doing Simran. What would you suggest a person do to get their mann Shaant? Please share your thoughts on this, because I'm sure alot of people face this problem when doing simran.

I found this on youtube and it is the most beautifully sung by the late Munshi Raziuddin in pure Raags. Gita Govinda of course was written by non other than Bhagat Jaidev Jee.

Actually you are right Veer N30 Singh. Singhs shouldn't fight one another. Baba Bir Singh Jee's example is the best example of this. It's like Guru Sahib himself makes such examples for us to follow.

That is exactly why Khalsa should always be Shastardhari. Most Bhagtiwalay Sikhs out there are only into Bhagti, but totally ignore the warrior aspect.

The Vidya Sagar was a collection of Granths that Guru Jee had written or had translated. This included a translation of Mahabharat, Ramayan various other Indic Granths into the language for the common man. Most was drowned in the river. Chandi Di Vaar for example is a translation of Markhandya Puraan, and Krishna Avtar is a translation of parts of Sri Mad Bhagwatam. Similarly, if all of Vidya Sagar was not drowned today we would have had the Mahabharat and Ramayan written by Dasam Patishah in the Khalsa perpective. What a great loss is was. Maybe in the future these Granths can be found if additional copies were written.
