  1. Bollywooder calling the farmers terrorists and worrying about China taking over india.
  2. Bo-Jo messing things up, like he did with with Nazrene's case, ending up with her serving more jail-time:
  3. Listen to this "news" anchor trying to drag Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale into the movement, thereby trying to criminalise the agitation.
  4. Have people been watching the news over the last few weeks about the farmer's agitation in Delhi ? One of the things that has really surprised me is the anti-Sikh vitriol being poured out by indian fascists. From government officials to bollywood wale, they have been claiming that the agitiation is a Khalistani propaganda move, inspired by Pakistan and Sikhs abroad. Only when the Hindu farmers then joined the agitation this has calmed somewhat but there are still people calling the agitators traitors to india etc. I will share some videos here so people can see some of the venom that the indians are producing.
  5. The only photo I ever saw of Baba Uday Singh was with Avtar Singh Makkar. Havne't seen any others but maybe you should get in touch with Budha Dal hq.
  6. Gyani Manjit Singh Damdami Taksal had completed his katha of Sri Gur Panth Parkash. It is available on gurmatveechar to listen/download. After listening to the whole katha of Sri Gur Panth Parkash over the last year, I felt it should be compulsory katha in Gurdwaras. It is an excellent tool to teach youngster about Sikh history and to develop love and sacrifice for the Panth. http://www.gurmatveechar.com/audio and then follow these folders: audios /Katha /Present Day Katha /Giani Manjit Singh (Damdami Taksal Vidyarthi Sampardai Bhindra) /
  7. Gurfateh to everyone on the forum. Very sorry I haven't been on as much as I should have. Not going to lie, I have just been playing Black Ops Zombies a lot recently. Hopefully in the New Year I will start contributing a lot more. Happy New Year to you all.

When you're ready, maybe jump back on that CP thread? Beats sitting around in your kashera playing Space Invaders! lol (joking!!)

Nephew had it as well, looked really bad at one point, but he pulled through. People gave me a recipe they used for him, I will post it later.

  8. Watched this video on Afeem, as it pops up now and again in puratan granths: Its a shame that Makhu is the anchor, as he is not very good in presenting.
  9. It looks really good. Apologires for not having visited for some time.
  10. Will do. Regarding Sri CharitroPakhyan Granth series, at the moment it feels like I'm having a conversation with myself. I just have been a little busy lately, and a little demotivated to be honest. Too much agianta flying around on social media.
  11. What or where is SA? Shoes in the langar hall are usually where there are only tables and chairs. I have only seen some ramgarhia gurdwaras in the UK that still only have tables and chairs. Whereas most Gurdwaras have provisions for both.
  12. Sitting on the floor to eat is also a sign of humility. Servants eat on the floor in their masters house. Not on the tables.
  13. Found this today. It's also on Youtube on a very interesting channel with some other gems there as well.
  14. The Sikhs are a strong financial community there but a weak physical community. They do not have the resolve to defend themselves, so are easy targets. I think you are overestimating the capabilities of the Nihangs if you think they can take on any faction of the Afghan militias. Big or small.
  15. I think it is because most international orgs know that there is little they can do. Even the general public of Afghanistan have turned against the Sikhs and HIndus over the last 25 years. If US could not destroy the Taliban with all their firepower, international orgs know there is nothing more they can do.
  16. Neo, I like that there are many sections and sub-sections to this forum. It kind of divides everything up neatly. I do think that a separate sub-section be made for Sri CharitroPakhyan Granth research in Dasam Granth section as it takes up a lot of the forum. It's a shame that progress on Sri CharitroPakhyan Granth has come to an almost standstill. When Paapiman was here, there were two of us to keep things going but he has disappeared for almost 2 years now. I just got some things going on with family and such that doesn't give me much time any more. I hope that by the end of this year we might get to charitar 200. That would be a really impressive step the way we are going.
  17. Hi all. Wanted to bump this thread again and bring everyone news of a dismaying situation in Lahore, with the ShaheedGanj of Bhai Taru Singh being taken over by Barelvi muslims. Some years ago, a sect of muslims took over this Gurdwara and painted one of the domes green, although it has been repainted white. This article mentions the same guy behind the recent attempt on 26th July, Sohail Butt. He is the same guy who made the video on the 26th threatening Sikhs in Pakistan. https://www.tribuneindia.com/2007/20070827/main8.htm
  18. Missionaries are using misusing lines from SGGS to try and deny that hell does not exist. This needs to be countered by given correct explanations of gurbani. One of the missionaries more common lines to use is : What is hell, and what is heaven? The Saints reject them both. Missionaries say that this line proves that there is no heaven or hell. But they mislead with the word "ਰਾਦੇ " (ਰੱਦ) which does not mean "reject" but means "ERASE" or "removed/destroyed" etc. This line in Gurbani is saying that "the Saints have erased love/desire for heaven and fear of hell." In the context of Bhagat Kabir Ji's shabad it is telling us about people's superstitions of dying in certain places which would determine what would happen to the soul after death of the body. You are my Sumayr Mountain, O my Lord and Master; I have grasped Your Support. You do not shake, and I do not fall. You have preserved my honor. Now and then, here and there, You, only You. By Your Grace, I am forever in peace. Relying upon You, I can live even in the cursed place of Magahar; You have put out the fire of my body. First, I obtained the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan in Magahar; then, I came to dwell at Benares. As is Magahar, so is Benares; I see them as one and the same. I am poor, but I have obtained this wealth of the Lord; the proud are bursting with pride, and die. One who takes pride in himself is stuck with thorns; no one can pull them out. Here, he cries bitterly, and hereafter, he burns in the most hideous hell. What is hell, and what is heaven? The Saints reject them both. I have no obligation to either of them, by the Grace of my Guru. Now, I have mounted to the throne of the Lord; I have met the Lord, the Sustainer of the World. The Lord and Kabeer have become one. No one can tell them apart. ||6||3||
  19. It does provide the oppressing community with ammunition to claim that everything is ok and the ones who complain are a minority of troublemakers.
  20. So because we are outsiders we have no voice, no opinion? Well why are you posting this drivel on an international forum? Why not just post it in India and discuss it between yourselves? Exactly. So you have proved yourself to be an ignorant person yet again by trying to insinuate that muslims and only muslims do these crimes. The "future" of this terrorist state of india. Why should I tell you? I'm an outsider so have no opinion of value to you. You keep kissing hindutva batty. For my fellow forum members though, who have an ounce of dignity and beleive in justice, you can read about this situation yourselves. And it didn't only occur in UP, it has happened in Gujarat and Madhya Pardesh. "Unfortunate incident"? See how this person describes it? Generations of families farming land and then suddenly are forced to vacate it without any explanation or appeal.
