I think your points are valid, but as we can see with this example, the Uk sangat does seem to have some sway in some Gurdwaras. In this case, and to the Nanaksar Gurdwara's credit, they very quickly rectified their mistake, and were apologetic for it too. We know there will be/have been other Gurdwara management that have unscrupulously valued their income over anything else and tried to adopt belligerent attitudes towards the sangat objecting, usually crawling up mainstream gora's bhunds as victims of 'extremism' <cough, cough>
As for how to proceed with proving the issue of commitment, your idea is as good as any I can think of off my head. We need to come up with something together. And let us recall our ithihaasic precedents:   we know when sullay were converting in the 1700s onwards, Singhs took all manner of steps to ensure the conversion was genuine, from feeding them pork for x amount of days, to putting boar's blood in the Amrit, to temporarily burying them to cast off their previous auras into the ground. So this is inline with our culture.

Not really. Afghan Sikhs are included, so it is beyond 'race'. Plus anyone who actually truly believes Panjabis are some homogenous genetic group is a moron of the highest proportion.

This is obviously the case. I mean one particular skirt wearing, head waggling jaat has been causing havoc in this respect for ages, but I can only think with cards in the air right now, we can't tell where we will be going in future until the cards settle down somewhat.

    Sociopathy again......
Look, if you are a lone, vulnerable women in a sullah country, it is likely to go a certain way...that's all.

Hell, let's keep it real, a lone vulnerable women from UP in Panjab would probably also be under similar danger I reckon.

True. But they hold betas to a double standard and it still educates and plays in the media better than Khalistan, which people are ignorant about.

Who cares about human rights violation in this world. The five veto power nations had history of human rights violations and nobody can do anything about.

Also. Doing parchar about the human rights violations and war crimes is more effective than just saying Khalistan.

I notice this is standard procedure for goray. I think they do it to try and give off some impression that the case is impartial. These 'representatives' they use are usually pre-tested sell outs.

I beg to differ, I believe I do understand how it works. It works in conjunction with a bunch of other stuff.

However, sadly, misapprehensions seem to fuel too many 'planet Pluto' Singhs' wild imaginations leading to all manner of stupid conceptualisations.

I consider people who think/suggest that reading bir ras bani alone as a complete method to increase one's more militant/warrior side to be morons (not to suggest that you are doing this btw, I hope not anyway.) Dasmesh pita employed a whole range of techniques to get Sikhs fighting ready which also included: training, hunting, exploring contemporary weaponry, encouraging an adventerous spirit, inculcating a love and respect of arms and actually stepping up to conflicts instead of ducking them. All of this seems to largely missing in the modern incarnation of the Khalsa.
