It's not just sad, it's an eye-opener to how these Sikh schols, once championed as a massive advantage for teaching Gurmat to children, (who, let's face it, get next to nothing from most gurdwaras and don't go) have not lived up to their expectations from the Sikh community. It's not just this school, Khalsa Academy Wolverhampton, has been taking in Sikh children and churning out athiests en masse. There is ZERO emphasis on Gurmat, a far cry from the starting point when the balance was on Gurmat with all other subjects.

This is what happens when you get trusts taking over schools and seeing them as some kind of business and career expanding vehicle.

Two Sikh boys, were jailed for life from Khalsa Academy Wolverhampton for the murder of another boy in their school.

What has happened to the Khalsa Academy school in Slough? The one in Wolverhampton is a Khalsa Academy in name only. It doesn't even deserve that label and hasn't for a long time.

Look what came crawling out the gutters. Trash. The same trash that promotes extreme brotherhood with bjp and hindutva. You and the tiranga waving trash are no different from these people you are trying to villify.

Wow. Typical hindutva trash and typical response from you. This is not some kind of religious unity but a political alliance. And what is wrong with that? Both Sikhs and Muslims in Kashmir have had mass rape and extra-judicial killings of their people. Both peoples have suffered immensely under indian rule. So both groups joining to protest on the 15th aug is nothing that is special but the fact that both group are protesting together is suddenly anathema to you.

Can you show me where i promoted bjp or brotherhood with hindutva?
All i do is live in reality while you people live in imaginery world . Khalistan is not possible in present scenario but you people keep taking your begging bowl to Gora sahab and mulla sahab thinking they will help you . Gora sahab is clever he keeps you so whenever he has to put  pressure on india they ask you to bark and when they have to do business withi  india they tie you at corner. Gora sahab did not give  sikhs separate nation in 1947 . Mulla sahab did not come to help sikhs in 1984. Yet you people keep on begging to them
Now please tell me what is your plan to take khalistan. Has Nato , China , Pakistan agreed to help you
Can you show me some link where muslims protested for Attack on Darbar sahib ,1984 riots  etc either in india or abroad. If one side just desperately want unity while other just see as potential converts and don't care then that is called being dhimmi.

Thanks for sharing this. Why do you need to say :
"Dass would like to say that I have no hate towards any community or religious faith."
We should be more open about who we think are trouble-makers.
Are not a lot of Roman Catholic schools in the UK successful?

This gives a false impression. They do not represent the average/typical Sikh in UK
Majority of Sikhs in UK are overwhelmingly very distrustful of Muslims and keep them at arms length

    Hello,

I've been studying Sikhism for twelve years and already follow not cutting hair and wearing Kara. However, I live in small rural town and there is actually no Sikh temple in my entire state. Additionally, the nearest one in another state is 8 hours away. I am quite low income and can never afford travel. Can I still be a Sikh? Can I baptized myself?

It is sad and shocking for the community as the school has been created and adheres to the Sikh ethos. However it is not a private independent school but one that is funded by the state but managed independently as an Academy under a Sikh Trust. Only up to 50% of Sikh students are given priority. The other 50% is made up from locals of any other faith so you get others also attending especially because it is a newly built school with modern facilities. Obviously it has given parents of children who attend the school cause for concern especially if the motives of children from other faiths is to try and convert and disrespect Sikhi. A lot of parents who choose to put their children in the school was so their kids would be free from bullying and where the kids could excel in like minded environment. I for one regret sending my son there. Not just because of this incident, but because I don't think a faith school attracts the best teachers and there is a very high turn over of staff at the school. They lack experience of running a school and it's becoming a hub for parents to get jobs when they may not have any experience in working an educational environment. If someone were to ask me if I should send my child there? I would say think it through it through and not just jump on the Sikh bandwagon because yes there are a fair few Sikh children there but is the setup and education really at a high standard? The school is stretched for funding so will make compromises where possible.
Primary is Sikh students heavy but in Secondary that it is not the case. As the primary years move up then the position in Secondary will change if parents still choose this to keep their children in the school for secondary. As a parent I'm deeply concerned if my child is getting the best possible education at this school, and would be taking a big gamble if he were to remain. The Ofsted rating of "Needs improvement" speaks for itself. It was rates Outstanding when it first was assessed then Panjabi politics kicked in and there was power struggle and key people were removed. After that there has been a high turnover of head teachers and staff. The KAT trust lost also lost it's secondary school in Slough West London. They just can't afford or attract the best and the good teachers/governors and the ones they do have leave or forced out. I had my reservations when I picked this school for my child, as those gut instincts were right.

Wjkk wjkf Sangat Ji. Dass recently heard about the case involving 2 Sikhs at the Atam Academy based in Romford East London. This case is really shocking given that it happened in a Sikh Faith School. Dass would like to say that I have no hate towards any community or religious faith.

Nihung Singhs believe Akaal Purakh, Gurbani and Shastars as their Divine-Beloveds. These are the three "Isht Dev" for Nihung Singhs.
So if you bow before Akal, in the pressence of Guru Granth Sahib Ji, and Shastar Dev, you are bowing to all three Isht Dev.

No offense to any amritdhari or anyone who is baptized.
Sikhi is bandagi. The external form matters not at all. If Waheguru wished it he would make everyone a traditional 5K Khalsa. But this is not so. Sikhi is accepting fully who you are and your communion with God. No one else has any say in this. Other people can only point you to this direction. Sikhi is bandagi, true submission to God. If God wished you to be a muslim, you’d be the best Muslim. Or Sikh, or Hindu, or Christian. Nanak constantly re-iterated that the path is naam; nothing else is useful.
