It's a tried and true method, it was in fact the primary method in Satyug. When people lived what a 100,000 years? And given 100,000 years to concentrate yourself, very few were saved. Which is why in Kalyug, only Naam can save us.  The primary methods of the previous three Yughs, produce little results for them even given their longevity, while we can benefit from these practices done in small batches for small benefit they will not provide what we are looking for.
Or can build them into our patterns as we go. One would have to devote many Kalyug lifes to those practices to achieve their end result.
The benefits of the Kalyug are, it's brutal suffering, the presence of Nehkalank and their gift of the Full True Dharam, and the door that leads to Sachakand is here. If we aren't playing to these filed advantages in Kalyug we're retarded, as in slow, as in living in a previous Yugh, conceptually, out of sync.

Not a bad point, but more important is to have licensed firearms (and other weapons) in Gurudwars for self-defense and for the defense of the Sangat.

Nope that's the one says all forms of Guru Sahiban are manifestations of Akal Purakh themself like Nehkalank Avtar itself.

On a slightly-related matter, it is helpful to the Sangat who want to visit, and I think - in our Sikhi ethos for the Gurdware to be 'open access'. But this has been abused for crime by outsiders in the past.
Having a strict entry access is needed I think , especially in the quieter Gurdware. Like maybe turnstile and intercom access ? We need to safeguard.  We would be vulnerable if we had 'rioting' and physical attacks like there was in 2011 in the UK. Same for Langar Hall

Veer ji it's a day that I will never forget since when I have stopped going to that gurdwara. It's a bit long the writing is going to be but I am gonna write it how I remember it.

Basically it was around July a few years ago. Baba Bhupinder Singh Ji Rara Sahib Jarg had come to Neville Road Gurdwara. I too went my parents. So this is where it all goes wrong. I am having langar in the hall as I left the darbar hall before the bhog.

I got my langar plate and ate it. I had left the thal in the washing area. Went to get another roti and some daal as I felt a bit hungry at the time. When i picked up the plate thal the guy serving roti started having a go at me and raised his voice saying "who is gonna wash the thal ?" I answered back saying it "was my choice". The guy kept going on and on but I got the roti from him and tried to ignore him.
Just after that the 2nd guy serving daal said to me "Round 2 ?" As he gave me the previous daal before. I went silent and was shocked and lost for words hearing and seeing all of this.

I then sat down with my plate and waited for my parents to come downstairs to the langar hall.

Then when my mum came I told her what happened she said to me to come to this gurdwara again. I said I am outside for fresh air. Then I saw another person whom I don't have a good a relationship with. Then I started to feel on edge and panic so I saw the bus coming, caught right on time then went home.

A few minutes later my mum rang me and asked where I was and told her I am in the bus going home and reached it.

So my mum made a complaint against this to whomever was in the management committee.

Although no action had been taken against these people who tormented me there.

It's been 3 and a half years since this incident. Everytime I go past the gurdwara by bus I get reminded of the events that took place with me. Plus try to convince myself that is a gurdwara with maharaja's stoop but the hate of these people gets to me a lot as I get flashbacks.

There are a lot more incidents but this one was the worst that I just wrote out.

So rifles and shotguns no permit, open carry.
Pistol permit required open carry, and special needs approval for concealed.
So unless you have a specific need, or professional need, you'd have to open carry.

0 Published: 2:08 PM January 5, 2022     A man who died at a building site in Hoxton has been named and an inquest into his death is underway.

This is quite true, these caretakers/management members should have more an sewadar attitude, of humbly serving the Sangat and the panth, of bringing it closer to the Guru/Akal Purukh by seeing and supervising if any improvement is needed in that sense, rather than inflating their ego of being viewed as superiors.

Shame on them bhai ji. What happened exactly, if you don't mind saying?
I stopped going to my old local for some similar reasons too. It had always been open most of the time. The 'office' had always been open too, but then one of our younger lot (well not that young) actually got in power and the office I'd been sitting in since a child, taking Panjabi lessons in, was suddenly locked (I think the old and new committees had legal issues going on?)
They had formal opening hours all of a sudden as well...
    Changed the whole atmosphere.
