Dalip Singh stated in this video that Sikh Brothers! When we think about it, it's clear that "Sikh Panth is a devotional path." Only devotion to the Lord is considered supreme in the Sikh Panth. In many places in Holy Gurbani, Guru Sahibs have also inspired Sikhs to become Bhagats (Followers). As a result, Sikhs should worship the Lord in accordance with their Guru's Hukam.

According to the Gurmukhi version, it was a Muslim lady, not a male, who psychological affected (with a Mantar) the Sikh lady.
You must have noticed that the English version does not mention about the Mantar and states that it was a Muslim guy, who did this evil deed.

Thanks Paaji.
The biggest regret in my life so far, was to NOT stick to one Jaap for a long time. We need to choose one (or a few) Gurbani Jaap/Gurbani Mantar and then stick to it for a very long time, before we can hope to see any tangible results.
Hopefully, people can learn from this experience.

Bad/Negative thoughts do come in the minds of most people and some people might also have lots of flashbacks of past negative events.
But, if they start bothering you, then you might need some medications to calm your mind down. You might be going through a rough period in your life and medications (along with Naam Simran, Kirtan, etc) might help you get past this bad patch of yours.
