Maybe it's just as simple as certain people have reached a level where they can discuss it without it messing them up?

I'm still grappling with the discovery of a whole 'personality' being hidden in the background in the form of thoughts, one that is determined not to be subdued!

I think one side of it is feeding your own ego , the other side is motivating others to have similar experiences and enhance ones spiritual journey. But again it depends on how you tell others , if guiding them without "YOU" being the center of the conversation then i dont think it'll be bad or break your connection but if its all about " ME , I"   then the EGO is elevated ....... then loW AND BEHOLD YOU GOT YOUR OWN dera  :) :) :)

Physical forms, though in one instance Durga was a statue but came to life and became life-like (flesh and blood). Before this all started I did see her as a statue too.
I know I was seeing my previous lives because the day before I did an ardaas to God asking if he could bless me with some sort of vision about it, to help me make sense of some things happening in my life and why I'm like how I am. During the dream, I transitioned from various lives and then finally to mine. I obviously have no proof but when I was younger a Mahapurkh had told my father about who was I was in my past life, it all seemed to correlate fine so I went with it.
I can reveal some details yeah, nothing too exciting though. I had a really bland life, In one life I was a man with a beautiful wife. I loved her dearly, we lived together in a huge place. Sadly My wife didn't feel the same way as me, she started having an affair with my brother, as a result they conspired to steal all  my wealth and kill me. One day when it was just us at home, they lead me into a room. While my wife and I were talking, my brother came up behind me and stabbed me in the back. At this point, I felt extreme pain where I was stabbed and woke up sweating. This explains a-lot about why I want to remain a celibate and not get married as well, why I'm not trusting of many people. Before this life (the lordly one), I was a horse. In another, I was a woman, was a man once Again. Honestly, there were a few more but they are really embarrassing.
Thank you so much for the advice. That would explain why recently they seem to have desisted. I discussed them with my mother and my friend in depth.

it's good, they are giving you messages, which only you can decipher, depending on what's happening in your life. It's a good thing, but it is all maya, therefore, you don't want to be persistent for it to be constantly continuing, as that will halt your further spiritual progress.
These things happen, because devtes/angels(same thing), know that you have potential, and they try and guide, as well as reassure you.
When you are shown things or presented some ideas about past lives, then these are laid out due to your karams. Some of us have a specific purposes for this janam, and we took birth to fulfill these duties and purposes.  These purposes all depend on past karams and past life avasthas, and they also determine this life's destiny and the karams you have to bhog in this janam.
You shouldn't be talking too much about them, because that can make them stop helping you. By this I mean, telling people around you in real life. It's okay on the forum, if you are just anonymous name and no one knows the real you. Imagine if you were a sports celebrity and you turned up to young boy's house to guide him with his soccer. Now, if the boy starts jumping around and using all his energy to tell everyone  "look who's here...look...look.", instead of appreciating your concern to help him.  If he continues to jump around telling all instead of respecting your help to put in some energy to learn from you, then you are not likely to hang around too long.  Because you had turned up to help this kid and not to display a celebrity appearance.  In the same way, messengers/devte/angels won't hang around too long if the person doesn't make efforts to decipher or ask for the messages of help.
My advice is that you try and increase your awareness and make efforts to be in touch with the divine inside you 24/7. You can also prepare and psyche yourself up to ask a question in the dream or for an explanation. If you are able to do this and have control to ask the question in dream state, then you've already stepped up a few notches of consciousness.  I doubt you will get a straight response or answer the first time, but you may get a strong signal.
Don't get too wrapped up in to describing the details and picturesque scenes, but try and find the message behind it that will be tailored to your current mental, emotional and physical state of both mind and body.

Do simnran and turn towards gurbani when you want to seek.  You won't get the answer immediately after reading or reciting, but it will come when the time's right. It starts in dreams, but if you play it right, then you will have them turning up in different forms and roops during your daily life. You have potential, so its advisable to make efforts to get past the heavenly abodes leading to sachkhand, where only the pure Nirankar resides.

"But how about evil eye? Nazaar"

Live a simple life. Don't entice jealously. Don't brag (don't speak excessively), try and keep your material possesions simple i.e. car, house, clothes etc. Celebrate and commiserate in a Gurmat fashion. Spend more of your time in khaalis sangat.

Jadu-Toona is all too real and still prevails in most societies across the world, yes as Dal Singh says, there are fakers and sometimes people confuse general bad luck/karam for toona etc, but that doesn't mean many others do not fall victim.

Its a myth that simply being of the sikh religion or even following it varying levels is enough to protect you, one must have total love and strong rehit to achieve protection, the very minimum being stipulated by Kavi Santokh Singh is for one to have a NIT rehit of JapJi Sahib, done with devotion. All too often when a 'Sikh' becomes a victim, they become of followers of a Baba who eliminates teh problem, and loose faith in Sikhi as a complete power/protection. The sad thing here is that Singh sabha types are western scientific minded, so therefore do parchaar that it doesn't exist, those who are real victims therefore see the Sikh door as closed. Also, it is lack of understanding as to what is required for one to be a 'Sikh' and therefore achieve Gurus raksha. A Pag, regular visit to the Gurdwara, and I would say even being Amritdhari in some cases is not enough - a consistent effort towards improvement, a strong rehit, clean mind/heart, devotion/pyaar for the supreme are requried to achieve Gurus raksha.

Congrats on your bhakti, veer ji!

I'm game for the chalisa. It would be cool if we could get at least 5 people so we could do 25,000 each over a period of 40 days. Ten people would be better because I'm a lazy moorakh.

Some opinions on the objective would be great. My vote would be for both martial power and cool heads (or political astuteness) for the Panth so that we have the ability to conquer enemies but the presence of mind to know when rajniti is called for rather than rudra ras.

I am pleased to say that our local Gurdwara sangat completed 250,000 Mool Mantar Jaaps in one week, double our target. Alongside there were hundreds of Sukhmani Sahib, Jap Ji Sahib and Chaupai Sahib paaths done by members of the sangat - all for the chardikalaa of the Panth.

This was all done with the organisation and guidance of Baba Balvinder Singh Nanaksar Vale, who in turn, organised the jaaps in memory of their Gurdev Sant Khem Singh Ji Rumi Vale, who recently passed away at the age of 109 years old after living a life (from early childhood) of intense seva and bhagti.

It is amazing to see how even today, a passionate Gursikh can bring so many sangtan together and inspire them to pray and do seva.

Having been skeptical in the past, I now see and understand how a target and deadline for completing a number of paaths and/or mantars can have massive benefits (on many levels), not only for an individual, but for a community. I pray this sort of anand is experienced by all Sikhs worldwide.

Baba Ji gave some figures regarding how many Mool Mantars are equivalent to a sehaj paath etc (based on the number of akkhar=Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji), I will try and dig these out.

Many people have come to this great forum and contributed all sorts of wonderful information, it would amazing to see if one day perhaps the sangtan of this forum could commit to a group Chalisa with an objective (of which there are many to choose from considering the state of the Panth) and together we could accomplish something wonderful, for ourselves, for this forum and for the Panth.

If this idea appeals, and there are any volunteers, please show your interest in this thread. If there are enough of us, with Maharajs kirpa, perhaps we can achieve something.

    Dhanvaad.

Kaljug, there are so many ways to reach the same final goal. The more I hear and read the more confused I get about which is the right method, 1 minute i'm doing 1 method then next minute the other. So now I have just decided to stop researching and starting doing. Only advice I can give is pick 1 method which works for you and just do it with sharda. Leave the rest to Waheguru Ji.

May he keep his mehar bharay hath on us all so we reach the stage of darshan of his lotus feet.

I am not as learned as most on this forum, but I think realizing Waheguru is something that is not done outside but inside. We have to meet/realize/experience Akaal Purakh within our own self. We are drops, He is the ocean. He is our source. Once we shed the barrier of duality, maya, ego etc. we can see/meet/realize/experience Him. Those who have done this are brahmgyanis.

Please correct me if I am wrong
