I learned a interesting fact from my ustadji for santhya, If you paka your santhya 25 times it equals some sehaj paths I can't remember right now the exact number but its pretty cool.

I had the same question as you,  reciting 32 times vs reciting once 32 praises.
Its a personal preference. I tried reciting it 32 times, it was tough, took me 40 minutes & was exhausted.  So if I want to do it, I just recite it once with full focus. Thats what works for me.
I came across Giani Thakur Singh's katha. He mentioned of a  80 year old Singh who was doing Brahm Kavach jaap since he was 5. He had reached upto 13 crore jaap of Brahm Kavach. So where do you stop ? at 32 or several lakhs ?

Just wondering if Brahm Kavach is to be recited 32 times a day (which I have read some nihang singhs do) or just once. I counted the "praises" and if I did it right there are 32 so I'm wondering if it means reciting these 32 praises daily or read these praises 32 times. Here is the translation I have:

That Kshaytria (warrior) who reads this Kavach of Brahma of 32 (praises) daily
 
ਰਣ ਜੀਤ ਲੈਹ ਨਿਰਭੀਤ ਰਹਿ ਰਿਧਿ ਸਿਧਿ ਪਾਵੈ ਅੱਤ੍ਰੀ ॥
rann jeet laih nirbeet rahi ridh sidh paavai aatri
(He) will attain victory on the battlefield, remain fearless, and attain Ridhi Sidhi (yogic spiritual powers)
 
ਲਹਿ ਬੇਦ ਭੇਦ ਜੋ ਪਢੈ ਬਿਪ੍ਰਬੈਸਯ ਧੰਨ ਸੁਖ ਸੰਪਤਾ ॥
lahi beyd bheyd jo paddai biprabheisy dan sokh sanpataa
A Brahmin who reads this will know the secret of the Vedas, and a Vaish who reads with will attain comfort of wealth and family.
 
ਧਨ ਧਾਮ ਤਨ ਅਰੋਗ ਸੂਦਰ ਪਾਇ ਸੁਖ ਅਕੰਪਤਾ ॥
dhan dhaam tan arog soodar paae sokh aknptaa 
Wealth, home, and a body without ailments [all] of beautiful unswerving comfort [is attained through contemplating this mantra].

There are two ways of obtaining the ras:
1. There is said to be Amrit in the air all around us. As you jap the gurmantar with dhyan and the air passes through your mouth you will begin to feel a sweetness in your mouth.
2. When you reach an higher avasta and can hear Anhad naad then as you listen to it with dhyan Amrit ras also drips from the naad.

You are on the right track veer ji especially as you like gatka and play tabla at this age. You will join Budha Dal one day veer ji as you are on the right path at mentioned. Its really good that you have gotten into more simran and bhagati as thats the main purpose for our janam on this earth.
 
Thats really good you like to do sangat of mahapurshs as dass likes to as well. Dass was very very sad and shocked when Baba Mohan Singh Ji left for sachkand as i read on here i couldn't believe it.

I just wanted to hear experiences of those who have had or have amrit ras.
When did you first get it, at what stage etc.
With Wahegurus grace, I have been hearing anhad shabad for the last 8 months or so but I have never experienced amrit. I have heard gurmukhs talk about it and have heard katha. Different people say it happens at various stages but I would love to hear peoples experiences.

Wjkk wjkf veer ji. Thats really good news what you have achieved as its really hard to sit down in dhian with the mind wandering from place to another. You have great kirpa of guru sahib ji and lets all pray on here for more further progress for our veer ji here.
Dass would like to recommend these set of books as its really hard to get answers for doing simran paath especially when there is not many people who have got any experience of doing simran.

Congratulations for reaching such a high avastha and I hope guruji does more kirpa on you to keep going 
Amrit Ras leaks from the tenth gate once one opens the dasam duar then amrit ras flows everywhere in the body 
That is all I know the elders gurmukhs here know a lot more  I haven't experienced it yet either
I've been doing simran for a decent amount of time now and I'm doing ardas to Guruji to help me control the 5 chor and move on to the next stage
