If Baba Surjit Singh had not been undergound it would have been possible to have this matter cleared up. I wouldnt stand too firmly by that assertion, as from what you have previously posed your relationship with Niddar Singhs students seem to have been less than cordial. Out of interest are there any sources that claim women were raped by Singhs? With regards to this topic I've never come across anything more than unsubstantiated rumours on the internet. Where any of your sources non Niddar Singh students?

This is a very interesting area of history. According to panth parkash Baba Binod Singh and Baba Kahn Singh and there jatha had already fought battles with the Bandai Sikhs, so would not have been present with them in the fortress when their was a seige. Infact, they were stationed at Amritsar. Where does the story of Baba Binod Singh leaving during the seige come from?

Im not sure if Babur is interpreted literally there but rather represents political rule as opposed to spiritual authority. i.e. government officials, army or the police are referred to by Nihang Singhs as Babur Ke - agents of political rule.

Theres a short sakhi in Pracheen Panth Parkash about a female saint described as a Santni who was based in Jalandhar and the wives of a king came to her to ask her to bless their hosehold with a son. This is going back to about the times of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur so appears to be a long standing tradition of female saints in the panth.
