OMG!! i have just read the question i asked yesterday and im surprised that no-one saw it. Karan was the shish of Parashuram. I got the wrong way round. why didnt "karan" take on the caste of his GURU "Parshuram" ? also Bhagwaan Ram Chandr and Bhagwaan Krishn were of kshatryi varan whereas their Gurus (vashist,vishvamitr) were brahmans...

can i ask if why didnt "karan" take on the caste of his shish "Parshuram" . any1 familiar with this episode will recall how Parshuram actually gave Karan a saraap when he foudn out that he wasnt a brahman but a low caste.

shaheediyans question is one i asked many moons ago. Why Baba Santa Singh never took action against him. There is more to this guy tho than meets the eye. His group only small was very well armed and had the protection of Panjab rakhsas sena top SSP's etc. For many moons they had protected him but his time finally run out. Someone also told me that Poohla had served his use to the govt and that some police officers were alarmed that he may take down a sinking ship, hence his killing by 2 petty criminals may not be as straigthforward as it seems. However i hope this isnt the case, but one only has to look at Giani Zail Singh........

wow. away for 6 weeks and come back to have 888 new posts to read. the thing with these people and their thinking is that you can never change THEM but you can try and get into neutral audience/sangat before they do. i always thort is that parchaar of Dasam Guru and Sant Mandli etc is usually weak. So when these people get their thougts in the we re-act to them instead of acting in the first place. Only becasue there was a total lack of parchaar in panth about certain issues ie Dasm Guru Granth, Raagmala etc the people who are against these have seized the initiative and taken the first shot. Surely the beleivers should have done that way before?

this aint new. its old. the 10 questions are jus really stupid. but then again i blame the lazy sikhs who should be doing more to raise awareness of sikhi in the sikh and non-sikh community. tis would at least help people b4 they asked stupid questions. a colleague of mine told me he was going to become a muslim. i sed to him that i hav a book for you to read on sikhi, plz read b4 you become a muslim. after he read it he said he was really impressed with sikhi, and said to me that "you guys are commiting a sin by keeping this (sikhi) to yourselves. why dont youever talk about it..."

I stumbled across Pran Sangli today and had a quick look at it. One thing i noticed was that the shabads were written in Raags. So would this mean that Guru Arjan Dev wrote the raags to this granth? And if it were not to be used for any purpose for the Sikhs, why would Guru written the raags for it?

viakaran arth is like what you get on sikhi to the max, just a literal translation of the line. but the antreev arth which is the deeper meaning of the line, the whys, hows, wherefores , if you like.

gangster the differencce is that the akj was built around what randhir singh thought and how he interpreted gurbani, in a very viakaran sense. the taksal, nihang dals etc have been there form the times of Dasam pita and interpret gurbani in a viakaran sense and more importnantly in an antreev sense, as per Guru's order. You cannot fathom the mystical from viakran arth alone.

the raeson the akj will never accept Raagmala is that cos Randhir Singh never accpeted it. If they accept it it means they dont beleive randhir singh was 100% true.
