  1. Not just that, everything wrong in the world is due to farmers LOL. WW1 was started when a farmer killed Ferdenand ,WW2 was started when a farmer invaded poland (and rival farmers declared war on that farmer), bombing of pearl harbor was done by farmers from Japan, atomic bomb was dropped on Heroshima by farmers from Amrika, the Bolshavik revolution was done by Russian farmers (and Soviet Union was destroyed by a drunk farmer named Yeltsin), Pakistan was created by a farmer (then a whole bunch of farmers in Punjab ended up killing each other), Isreal was created by Zionist farmers, 9/11 was done by Arab farmers which resulted in Bush (also a farmer!) declaring war on the Islamic farmers. DARN THESE CONSPIRING FARMERS! When will it all end?
  2. Maratha and Mughal armies were actually quite effective in the early part of their history. If you read about Mughal victories by Babur they were outstanding read about how Himayun recaptured India or Akbar's victory against Hemu and later on the Rajputs. The Marathas also had outstanding victories during the time of Shivajee and even after during the times of the Peshvas. Like all empires they declined due to disunity.
  3. This article also shows that propaganda by some hard line Muslims about how bad Sikh raaj was and how intolerable it was was just propaganda and not reality. Dawn is a good paper, and enjoys credibility in Pakistan and internationally.
  4. What do you expect? This is Mcleodian school of orientalist crap. As far as I'm concearned, their Phds aren't worth the paper they wipe their backsides with.
  5. Having kaam/sexual strength is nothing to be proud of and neither does it made that person a king. BTW, I've read this story about a week ago. I've read that he says the secret behind his ability to become a father at that age is that when he was young he was a wrestler and everyday he would eat a lot of Gheo, Badaam and Milk.
  6. You are right about the fact that RSS of India is like the Nazi movement of Germany. Strangely, neo Nazi movements are springing up all over the world amongst non-Germanic whites and even non whites! take a look at this video which shows Nazi movements growing in non-white nations http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4-oKHejw7Q What is the world coming to? It seems people just never learn from history. We are all children of the same God, yet we identify with this temporary body and it's superficial characteristics like caste and race.
  7. It seems that a lot of NRIs who are born and bred in the west and only go to India for visit every few years for 3 weeks have some preconceived ideas and notions about India and Indians which I'm glad to say is not based on reality but more so on their personal bias. This Data is not a surprise for me since I was raised in India and am currently living in the west and can attest to the ground realities in both societies despite what most NRIs think. This Data is a shock however for many NRIs and their notions about India. It's based on rapes per capita and west is far ahead!
  8. DalSingh brother, why do you need to put an entire caste down? you always seem to be attacking Jats for this reason or another. Everyone has some bias about the other caste except their own, but that doesn't mean our bias views are reality, how would you like it if someone attacks your caste here repeatedly for some reason or the other? Ass licking of the west is not a problem of Jats or Tarkhans or Khatris alone. It is a problem of all our people. To single out a single caste for all our problems big or small is hateful and malicious.
  9. Another good source is Hari Raam Gupta's history of the Sikhs 5 volume set. It contains some well researched info on the Phulkian states.
  10. LOL so true. But if such a book were to be written, it would not be as widely sold because discussion on 1984 is still considered taboo, especially if someone does not support the government's version of events.
  11. If only he were alive during the Anglo Sikh wars.
  12. True, the BIGGEST mistake the Singhs made was boycotting the elections which allowed the Congress to win, and within a year or two, the Kharkoos were finished.
  13. LOL you heard that story too! I also once met a Muslim who told me about that story of Neil Armstrong hearing the Azzan in space. This Muslim told me that he was so impressed after hearing the Azzan that he converted to Islam and even claim Armstrong moved to Palistine!
  14. It's a well known fact that the Chinese are the best in reproducing what has already been invented. When the Serbs shot down an American stealth bomber during the Kosovo war, I'm sure they must have shared the wreckage with the Russians or the Chinese. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the Chinese and the Russians are working jointly in created weapons to counter US made weapons. These two countries have formed the SCO which is basically an organization to counter US imperialism in their respective spheres of influence.
  15. Cold war has been over or over 20 years now. The US is the only superpower, yet it's military budget is bigger than the next 20 countries combined. The US has taken over from the British empire as the Anglo dominated imperialist power. They have no reason to spend billions of dollars on these super weapons while the country is still suffering from a recession, yet they continue to spend only to use them against weak nations during a war. With all these billions of dollars of worth of highly sophisticated advanced weapons they still cannot beat lightly armed Afghan fighters. I hope these American imperialists get their butts kicked in Afghanistan like they did in Vietnam.
  16. The Vienna incident is a different story. When the $hit hits the fan, the Sikhs are still capable of getting very militant. Despite what the GOI and Punjab Police would have us believe, Sikhs will not get militant for the cause of Khalistan anymore because that cause (for now at least) is a dead cause as far as violence is concerned. But Sikhs can still get militant when it comes to the issue of Dera chiefs and other ideological enemies of the Sikhs as we have seen in the last few years.
  17. 10 years ago Canada or any western country would not have been scared to say the truth. But with the high economic growth of China and India, all western countries want to have good relations with these two emerging economies even if it means turning a blind eye to human rights abuses. History is written by the winners (which doesn't necessarily mean the right side). Sikhs lost the war during militancy years and as a result have been branded as terrorists. Our genocides are not even considered genocides since we lost the war. In the end what it comes down to is money, that is all that really matters for all governments.
  18. Sikh militancy (use of violence) for the cause of Khalistan is dead, non-existent for now. Every now and then we hear about the police arresting so and so Sikh militants with RDX. The way these Sikh militants are being caught red handed with RDX one comes to the conclusion that either these are the most amateur militants in the world or maybe these are just operations being done by the government in collaboration with the police to fool the public and media. Search the term "false flag" because when it comes to Sikh militancy the GOI has a habit of such covert operations. False flags are done by governments all over the world and still continue to do it.
  19. Why not? She's not just any woman, she was the former head of the SGPC (which is probably the biggest organization of Sikhs) and currently is the head of a Sikh women's organization that is to suppose to promote Sikh ideals amongst Sikh women, plus she is also the head Santni of Dera Muralla Sahib one of whose Jathadar (Sant Bishan Singh Jee Muralavale) were also the Jathadar of the DamDami Taksal, yet she removes hair from her body. Or do you think it is okay for an Amritdhari Sikh woman in her position to remove hair?
  20. This isn't a new concept. SGPC run institutions have reservation seats for Sikhs (saabat soorat). Once in a while some people who don't agree with it take the SGPC to the court but they usually end up losing.
  21. Thanks for sharing this. This was well worth reading. Hope the Nihangs again become like the Nihangs of the olden days.
