  1. Shromani Panth Akali Buddhadal 96 Krori has direct connection with akaal, all religious education of the jathedars especially Jathedar of Dal Panth Khalsa comes "Direct" from akaal and Guru Maharaj "direct" ! As and when required. Like pay as you go, but without the paying. The above is my own opinion, dont quote is as factual information or in any academic papers.. unless you academic paper is a biography about me. which I doubt anyone is actually writing.
  2. note to self.. Not all nirmalas or sant lokh are non fighters.. some do kick a$$
  3. I will happily be thrown out of any panth, and will happily add or subtract letters from my name, if it pleases the sangat which I obviously do not deserve to be part off Call me bandar call me banda, call me a janani its all good as long as you are happy chatanga ji, after all a happy meal is a healthy one. You have no proof that all rehti sikhs are guru ke ladle, just as I have non that only nihangs are ladle. However I can go by the fact that in day to day practice no other group shout it out as much as the nihangs do. Maybe this is not enoguh proof to justify that only Nihangs are Guru Ke Ladle. But to me its more then enough, after all its what I feel. or are you going to tell me my feelings are not good enough a reason for me to persue a belief. I agree with drawof, sikhi is vast and dynamic there is no single way no single answer, and definatly no single person who can go against the hukam of Maharaj. It is by his grace we get the desires and feelings and pull towards sikhi, its by his grace we have the good fortune to meet chardi kala people and gain somehing from them, be it an insight into a higher state of living, or some bani, or just some open source kamai.. No they are not only in one jatha or sampradaya infact they arnt even in one religion.. but they are all in the one hukam of akaal, and all come from the one akaal so if someone is drawn to nihangs and feels they want to share that let it be, sure express your opinions too but then dont get upset when others express theirs. Would a nihang help some lady whose been kidnapped. Im not baba Santa Singh I cant answer for the whole panth, but I can say im sure some would. lI guesss it all depends on if it is gurus hukam that a nihang will ave that woman, after all everythign happens in hukam so I guess the woman being kidnapped was also in hukam ? Who knows how akaal purakh plays this game, we are just all his pieces to place however he wishes along a path. Would I help a kidnapped woman, hundreds of people get kidnapped every day I havnt packed up my job or left my family to go help them, so I guess im not like the old nihangs, but if one of the jathedars told me to go save someone it would be my duty after all no point in wearing all the blue if you aint going to answer the call. Now you may say cant I make decisions for myself, if a situation occurs Id like to say yes I will jump onto the back of my horse (or jump onto a bus as i have no horse) and ride into the night competing with the cops to find this kidnapper and save her honour etc etc, but the truth is situations like that are not pre-planned, its all about that specific moment in time. However what I am today is by the grace and blessings of akaal, and I came to appreciate those gifts through jathedars and holy people, as it is by their blessings I am who I am, it is only right that I serve them when they ask it of me. Now you may ask dont I feel that way about my Guru, and the answer is simple in my mind anyway.. yes but im too stupid to understand what my guru wants so I just do my best everyday and trust he will hold my hand and guide me where he wants me to go. after all I am his ladla. Now thats a very long post written by a bandar.. so im charging you all one banana each ! But this post wasnt about me, it was about rupz liking nihangs.. and chatanga believing they dont deserve to be liked because they aint like the old nihangs and drawof throwing me out the panth.
  4. In my opinion fights will always occur, there are those people who avoid fighting like the sant lokh, and the scholarly guys. nirmalas and udhasis, but they usually seem to hindu to run gurdwaras, and those who are hot tempered and simple minded they end up running the gurdwaras. I dont think its people wanting to be anti panth or anti granth, just different people become passionate about different things. When power is available to those who have no understanding of it, then of course stupidity will be the only manner in which they can resolve their differences. Just look at what happened when George Bush became President ! Stupidity and power = Unneccesary Violence Plus I think another major factor is that the Gurdwaras used be run by donations and by the sangat, now they are all funded by Lottery Fund or some other Government grant, new community centers are opened not with the sangat in mind but simply for the grants. Insted of facilities to enhace sangat integration and things for kids, the gurdwaras build massive wedding halls, its turned from a spiritual experience to a religious product, bottled and sold by the biggest and best corporation. We need free Range Sikhi.. No more GM(Grant Maintained) Sikhi.. Thats my personal take on it though, others would argue the moneys there use it.. and we pay taxes, and the community centres are for the kids in the long run, and spending the goverments money is better then spending the sangats, and all that.. so maybe im wrong..
  5. Always picking on the JATTS.. birpan ki reet = being like the bhramins, such as casting out anyone or anything which is different from your opinion of whats right and holy. Holding onto the external practices and believing that it is through those that we can devide people and pretend our practices are more accurate and pleasing to God then anyone elses. Thats how I understand it anyhow, but I aint a scholar or a nirmala, im just by the grace of the guru.. his ladla.
  6. As communities integrate they appreciate one anothers differences and similarities, and as they disintegrate into like minded friendship clans and groups and jathabandi etc etc, they feel safe in that bubble and insecure to see or accept anything outside of it.. To be honest I dont care who gurgaddi was passed onto, from my experiences and own research I believe it was passed on to Aad Dasam Sarbloh Guru Maharaj, as well as the shashtar roop as well as the Khalsa which in my opinion is the Buddhadal and anyone who has earned their place in the khalsa through their actions. If a muslim tells me Guru Nanak was no prophet I aint gonna argue, I just say fine, thats your belief, if a naamdhari tells me not to wear blue I aint gonna argue, I just say safe, your view and at this moment in time mine is to wear blue. According to our actions and experiences each one of us will blossom in a different way, but as long as we are all blossoming in the garden of love for akaal, who cares what type of flower you become. Just be the most beautiful you can be, and maybe the great lord akaalpurakh himself will become pleased and pick you from the garden and hold you in his hands, even if its for a split second it will be worth it, If however time is wasted trying to strangle the other flowers and become dominate, you either take the form of grass or weeds.. both of which are removed by the gardener and thrown away, and as they fade away they just become compost for those who remain.. Bhale Nindo, Bhale Nindo, Bhale Nindo log. Small disclaimer- as mentioned the above is my view according to where I stand at this moment in time, may akaal protect and bless us all.
  7. Lol how can I not be a child, after all the Nihangs are Guru Ke Ladle
  8. Lets start cutting off the hands and tongues of those who do such sick biadbi of maharaj.. and then out of fear and respect nobody will do anything wrong or stupid That is justifiable use of violence to protect the Guru and the Sikhi ! Infact as a true khalsa, shouldnt we be allowed to pass judgment as well as punish those who do wrong.
  9. Yes rupz be aware of the nihangs they are devil worshipers and evil, they have no history and what they do have is made up. EVIL EVIL EVIL...
  10. Shaheediyna, no idea if this version of Kirpa Karo Maharaj, is similar to the one you mentioned, its Aziz Mian (One seriously scary ugly but amazing qawalli artist.) Another on of my favourites from Aziz (actually has a deeper meaning then most would think.. some may not like it)
  11. Chatanga's posts are so cute.. I feel like cutting him up and eating him for lunch
  12. In my opinion. I dont think Kookay are responsible for the distortion in bani, I think time and history are to blame, just like it is over time that Bani pronounciation has become distorted, Maryadas and sampradyas have become split and distorted, Saroop of Maharaj has itself become distorted (from lareevar to non lareevar saroop) Gurdwaras, institutes organisations have become distorted Nitnem bania have become distorted Amrit sanchar has become distorted. The list can go on and on. abuse of any of the above is a serious issue and even the kookey would stand up against something like that, but for someone to cause a division between a community based on distortion, well looking at the list above I dont think the Kookay are the only ones we should be concerned about
  13. I like the nihang analogy. let the sant lokh build the rafts.. and then just take over them. all in the name of love..
  14. I like fateh singhs previous reply.. it made more sense except the ARSENAL part.. we all want to point a finger at someone and say look dehdharis or raam raiyas or whatever and hence feel we have a divine reasoning for persuing hatred towards those people. if you have such intense love for your guru, then my dear friends.. contemplate and thank those who gave their lives in the name of your guru and your panth. This would include the Kookey !
  15. just shout them at neo... he dont mind..
  16. I would like to see a kooka eat spagethi in his new shining all white korta .. I think everyone should do kirtan on gurdwara stages, after all not all of guru gobind singhs kavis were amritdharis were they?
  17. amardeep, Correcting it is with Imam Mehdi, Imam Hussein gave shaheedi in Karbala, hence the recent muharram events and the day of Ashura. Also Maha Singh, its not like that shastar, I seen the Zulfikar styled ones in a museum in Patiala as well as Rajisthan, It actually looks more like two swords side by side, from the same handle. im looking to see if i can find a picture
  18. in my opinion the zulfikar is described as a sword with two edges, and even though swords with that double side by side blade do exist, the definition of zulfikar doesnt negate the possibility of the khanda.. after all one is side by side the other is back to back.. ! but thats just my opinion, however it would be quite upsetting to many muslims to claim the sikhs were given the zulfikar as a gift, or that it is now in some sikh gurdwara..
  19. i used to have a headless chicken avatar.. but it got deleted from the host server.. but great post tsingh..
  20. whats the links between the naths and satguru nanak dev ji maharaj. is it the sidha gosht dipiction or something else. really intrested in figuring out what the link is here
  21. in my simple dumb jatt response, I agree with what you saying.. It seems now we are much more intrested in quantative data facts figures the actual numerical years in a juga etc, whereas the sampradayas (and my belief all true spirituality) is more qualatative its more about the experience. hence all the sampardas have this great method of teaching where you just experience everything, slowly and gradually building up a greater understanding When I met a great great Nirmala in Patiala (someone who in the span of a few hours literaly changed my life, a gurdev as such) it wasnt what we chatted about that mattered as we just chatted random things, some specifics but mainly random and it wasnt want he showed my as we only sat in his front room. (so no historical sites or anything) but there was an experience there, and he made me acknowledge that experience and taught me alot through something i would never have thought coudl be used to teach.. its weird. what im trying to get at is the metaphorical meanings in bani are in my opinion to express feelings and emotions not something which is so literal. I dont know maybe im on a tangent ..
  22. to be honest however I feel that the mass release of sarbloh granth wouldnt be a good thing, at the moment only those who appreciate and undertand it have it, and even they are very very quiet about the contents of sri gur sarbloh granth sahib ji, hence the very abstract steek of Sarbloh granth printed by Buddhadal. I think the release of the sarbloh granth in two volumes by Baba Santa Singh, was a way to ensure it didnt just disapear but without the full appreciation of the bani it can become more confusing and (even hated by some groups of sikhs with their views) if misunderstood.
  23. Intresting, it seems in the old days punjabis and sikhs wore jewelry including piercings for earings ! Yet nowadays body modification is regarded as non sikhi, and wearing of gold ornaments is seen as anti panthic too. Wonder what was the turning point ? why did we stop when did we stop.. ?? ps. Bit bogged down today however Freed I will pm you regarding the other stuff. There is no jantar or mantar more powerful then naam, thats my opinion.. akaal
