    Japanese surprising research...

    1. Acidity not only caused by diet errors, but more dominated because of stress.
    2. Hypertension not only caused by too much consumption of salty foods, but mainly because of errors in managing emotions.
    3. Cholesterol is not only caused by fatty foods, but the excessive laziness or sedentary lifestyle is more responsible.
    4. Asthma not only because of the disruption of oxygen supply to lungs, but often sad feelings make lungs unstable.
    5. Diabetes not only because of too much consumption of glucose, but selfish & stubborn attitude disrupts the function of the pancreas.
    6. Kidney stones : .Not only Calcium Oxalate deposits, but pent up emotions and hatred
    7. Spondylitis : not only L4L5 or cervical disorder; but over burdened or too much worries about future

Gurbani  starts with a reference to Nam, when First Patshahee says: Ik Oankar Satnam
Satnam is composed with 2 syllables : Sat + Nam.
Here, Sat is truth, but not that truth as we know and understand at our level.  For example if we say, Paris is the capital of France,  we are undoubtedly speaking the truth, but it is a relative truth, means it is temporary in time and space, one day it shall get dissolution, it will dissapear.
Whil on the other side, when Guru added  Sat to the shabad Nam, He means to say, that, that Nam is Truth, for it is changeless and eternal, beyond any limitations.
So basically, Nam is a creative power, a highest level of consciousness, which is eternal and changeless, yet is Nam only; not that Satnam is a different entity.
Sat/truth, describes the changless and  eternity attributes of Nam.
Now, Nam  being an infinte Ocean of Energy/Power, Supraconsciousness, as described throughout the Bani, is full of resplandencent Light and divine melodies.
This is found in Aarti and Anand Sahib, when we say : Sabh meh Jot  Jot hae soee, or, Nam jiskay man vaseeya vajeh Shabad ganere.

Also Sree Guru Arjan Dev in Raag Gauri tells us
Naam Sunae Naam Sangrehai Naamae Liv Laavo
I hear the Naam, and I gather in the Naam; I am lovingly attuned to the Naam.
First He says: I hear the Nam, means I repeat it within or meditate on it.
Secndly He says: I gather the Nam. This means, he goes on with the Simran of His Name, in order to cut our attention from the outside world, and  thorough continous focus on it by Simran, we enter into the subtler realms within ourselves, that what the Bani calls it call Harmandir also.
And thirdly He says: I am lovingly attuned to the Nam.
This means, when we do His simran, we get purified, and thus reveal or make pargat Nam within ourselves, with its refulgence Light/Akhoot Jot, and with our inner ears, we start listening the Divine melodies within, which have an pulling effect towards itself on the soul or jeev atma.
Here, He is revealing us the secret to become one with that ultimate reality, which one may call it: God, Shabad, Nam, Satnam. Waheguru, Akal Purukh, Sachee Bani, Aad Sach, Word, Logos, Tao .... all these terms, refer to the same ultimate and highest reality of Nam
Once the soul becomes stable in listening and seeing Nam within, then something wonderful takes place,  the soul having discarded all  impurities and coverings of different bodies, such as astral and causal, freed from mind ... the soul recovers it self realization of true nature as a particle, a ray, a drop of Nam.
And through apaar kirpa of that Satnam, the jeev atma merges becoming one with Him.
Thus only, the jeev atma, gets freed or gets mukti from the unendable cycle of 84.
In this respect, let us pay close attention to the following sat bachans of Guru Jee.
Avar Karathooth Sagalee Jam Ddaanai ||
All other efforts are punished by the Messenger of Death,
Govindh Bhajan Bin Thil Nehee Maanai ||
Which accepts nothing at all, except meditation on the Lord of the Universe.
    Sukhmani Sahib  Guru Arjun Dev

I believe, many think Nam japna is for only those of high avastha .... Nevertheless, Guru Sahiban exclusively point it, to us ordinary beings, full of limitations and heavy loaded karmas .... It is by Nam japna only, that we too can become of high avastha, to the extent, that we can merge in Him, and become one with Him.
That is, by His atee wadeeayee only.
    Stay blessed.

it's funny how my understanding has changed slightly to my very earlier posts on this same topic...not different...but a little deeper...... I totally agree N30 ji, that Naam is both anhad naad and beyond...
The very first state of naam or experience of naam, as in when the servant says "bless me with naam, or Naam bakhso"  is anhad naad. ...this is when we say that naam has been baksh. or blessed.
That's when the naam journey begins, when you have made contact with that resonating wave of Ek Ongkar....it has began to get pargat.... shabad below can also confirm N30's post...

    1) asking for naam, which could be 1st encounter of anhad naad.... or it could even be darshan of waheguru...as in the later darshan line..."Hohu ḏa▫i▫āl ḏarsan ḏeh apunā aisī bakẖas karījai"   .... all depending on stage of sevak. (it doesn't matter because he tells you why later on in the shabad
    2) He confirms in the rahao pangti, that the above line doesn't matter if it refers to sevak begging for 1st stage Anhad or Darshan of waheguru at his door, because when it comes to naam..there is no duality, no other, nothing beyond naam ...there is only the One, who is the cause of naam and is the cause itself.

    Totally agree.
Because there is no one single definition to describe naam, shabad and naad,.. they are sometimes used interchangeably.
You have to experience it for yourself and you will know when ''Naam'' begins to get pargat and then how you start getting attuned to it.
A simple way of helping yourself to understand it is to think of the naad, shabad, oung....as being a vibration- just like everything else in the Universe.
As per physics; we know that to graph a vibrational wave with peaks and troughs, there is always some source or origin where it begins or originates from.....and if we eliminate this source of origin, then the vibrational wave ceases to exist.
A wave of vibration, as we understand is also what connects the source of origin to the receiver/perceiver.
....bearing this mind, I like to think of -
-Naam as being the source of origin... or the infinite/unknown. aad jugadh, ajuni source
-Naad or shabad as being the vibrational wave that is active in all of creation.... this is analogous to a sound wave, but not like the one's on this physical plane where they diminish in amplitude over a distance. The NAAM is continuous and is not affected by any resistive forces.
As per anand sahib....'Naam jin kai mann vasia, vajey shabad ganerey''....... the Naam becomes pargat or manifests when one hears/feels the shabad vibrating within the mind. This goes on 24/7. If it's not 24/7, then it is not pargat yet.
We could also say that one begins to get taste and feel this naam state of mind by connecting with the shabad/naad

Getting back to the OP question
    ''Is Naam the Anhad Naad?"......
Well, anhad naad is a form of the naam or a manner in which one experiences naam. Strictly speaking, it's impossible to configure or describe in words unless one begins to experience it through naam kamayee. And all abyasees will tell you the same.
You will also understand that Naam is not something that can be initiated by master whispering into initiates ear.. .as sometimes understood by some Naam is also not inured or obtained in amrit sanchar either
We have to earn all of these with free will and efforts (Kamayee)

    A very touching story:

There was a group of women in a Bible Study on the book of Malachi. As they were studying chapter three, they came across verse three, which says: "He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver. "This verse puzzled the women and they wondered what this statement meant about the character and nature of God.

One of the women offered to find out the process of refining silver and get back to the group at their next Bible Study.
That week, this woman called up a silversmith and made an appointment to watch him at work.
She didn't mention anything about the reason for her interest beyond her curiosity about the process of refining silver.

As she watched the silversmith, he held a piece of silver over the fire and let it heat up. He explained that in refining silver, one needed to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest as to burn away all the impurities.
The woman thought about God holding us in such a hot spot then she thought again about the verse, that "He sits as a refiner and purifier of silver."
She asked the silversmith if it was true that he had to sit there in front of the fire the whole time the silver was being refined. The man answered that yes, he not only had to sit there holding the silver, but he had to keep his eyes on the silver the entire time it was in the fire.
If the silver was left a moment too long in the flames, it would be destroyed.

The woman was silent for a moment. Then she asked the silversmith, how do you know when the silver is fully refined?
He smiled at her and answered, "Oh, that's easy - when I see my image in it."

If today you are feeling the heat of the fire, remember that God has His eye on you, and will keep watching you until He sees His image in you.

    To brother Raman,
and to all those are going through bad periods, and to those any of us who can go through it any time without previous notification, I can only say something which I have learned from Gurmat, and that is, whatever happens in life, it is our very karma, and this karma is not thrwon upon us indiscrimately, but it is a microscopic part of our very countless earnings(karmas).

So we should never ever blame anyone for it, not even to our beloved Wahiguru, to whom almost the whole world accusses, when in reality He does nothing as such, to make us feel pain or make us miserable.... how dare we do that? It is out of agyanta, man blames Him

He is softer than the softest....

So as said, life is based on karmas, which we can not alterate. We know we may be poor or sick, and have no wealth, neither scope maybe, but one thing is sure, we have something which is the most valuable thing is this creation, of which, even billions of dollars or pounds can not buy even 1 gramme of it. And that is our "swaasa dee poonjee", the wealth of the number of remaining breaths we have to take yet. This precious wealth, we can waste it like that in a useless manner, or we can use it, in a useful manner to make ourselves a spiritual emeperor.

Yes, yes, you are listening well, a spiritual emperor.

Now, who is a spiritual emperor?

Naturally, the answer is Wahiguru Akal Purukh.

Here comes now the beant greatness of Wahiguru. Our destiny is only due to our karmas as said before, but by His daat of swaasa dee poonjee, we can reach the highest. For that we have to do some sort of bussiness, in which we have to give something valuable, so to get in return something valueless, means something which even gods can not give us....

So, the bussiness is, to give one breath, and in exchange purchase Nam for it, as simple as that; it is not costly nor difficult for anybody, irrespective of gender, class, health, political or economic issues....

Have we ever asked, why do we like to gather money? Mostly it is because, we want to insure our future, to live happily and with dignity.

But , we tend to forget, that we are not going to live here for ever...life is short and uncertain; moreover any type of wealth accumulated here, in the end is nothing but a handful of dust, just as our very own body, which we love so much and take it as our real identity.

So, if live is uncertain here, and we do not want to come back either in this valley of pain and tears, there is only one option left.
And that option is, to use the wealth of our breaths, to obtain and achieve the highest, and this can only be done, if we gather the wealth of Nam with each breath, whether in walking, eating, sitting or in any other daily activity of ours, in which the attention of mind is not required much.

So Sant Janas, Mahapurkhs, advise us, that while you can not change your destiny, you can change the future, which in due time wil become your destiny.

And that divine change, only we can make it, nobody can do that for us, each one has to do it for himself/herself. And that divine change is possible, as assured by Gurmukhs, who are the very embodiment of Wahiguru Akal Purukh.

This is the very reason, why the Bani is made and left for us humans, so that we understand ourselves, understand Him, and try to change the course of our future, by directing it to Sach Khand, His abode of eternal Truth, bliss and happiness.

And all this is only possible, if only we become aware of our true nature which is spiritual, that we belong to Him, and not to world full of "koorr".

Only when we become aware of this reality of ours, then only can we take the second step, which is to do something to achieve it, and that something is nothing than His Simran, as much as possible at all times, so that when we go from this world, Kal has nothing to tax, as he can only tax us on something gathered by maya, means karmas; but he can not tax us on the wealth which is far from his reach, which is the wealth of Naam.

So let us now think, is not Wahiguru all Dayalu?

With our efforts and inteligence, we collect dirt and dust of karmas, on the other side, with His Grace, by means of Naam Simran alone, we become a spiritual emperor like Him, by merging in Him.

Is this not the best thing Wahiguru can do for us His souls, irrespective of our good or bad karmas?

Why do we fail then to understand His utter Daya Meher on us?

When are we going to stop blaming Him?

    We are moorakhs, mughads ...

He is attee Sundar, attee Ooouch, Apaar, Beant, Soami.
The most beautiful, the highest, beyond reach, limitless, the Lord of all.

    Waheguru.

The main point in this thread, is the pain due to one´s karmas ....

But according to the Bani, though stated above already, some soothing words of Sachay Patshah Dhan Guru Arjun Dev Maharaj in Raag Sorath, filled with nectar , are brought in front of the sangat, for the purpose of treasuring them in our very minds and hearts, so that we may take the full advantage of them, by applying them in a practical way in our lives, not otherwise.

    Here they are:

    ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਰਣ ਕਾਰਣ ਸਮਰਾਥਾ
    Prabh Karan Kaaran Samaraathhaa
    प्रभ करण कारण समराथा
God is Almighty, the Cause of causes.

    ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਸਭੁ ਦੁਖੁ ਲਾਥਾ Har Simarath Sabh Dhukh Laathhaa
    हरि सिमरत सभु दुखु लाथा
Remembering the Lord in meditation, all pains and sorrows vanish.

First of all He is telling us, that we have to rely only on one Wahiguru Akal Purukh, none else, because He is the cause of all causes.

Secondly, He is telling us, that, our karmas, our destiny may be dirty and heavy, but if we turn our faces towards Him, by meditating on Him, through Naam Simran, all our sorrows and pains shall be simply dissolved.

This means, our karmas will not change their course nor purpose, but by putting ourselves at His Lotus Feet, through His Simran, we get His support and strength, to face them cheerfully, without any complaints, they just pass away unnoticed.

This is the mahanta, the wadeeayee of Wahiguru Akal Purukh and His Naam. Guru Jee clearly tells us, do not wait for your life to get straighten by itself because of your crooked karmas, rather take shelter at His Feet, by doing His Simran, only then you can walk with your head uplifted, without getting the terrible blows of your dirty and heavy karmas, because now one is covered with the shield of His Daya Meher.

Karmas will play their role, but His Daya meher will also play the role in a protective way. For that, we need not big nor plenty of words, but just one action, and that is His Simran.

One just gets pleasantly amazed, and a river of bliss starts flowing within, by reading the Bani and seeing, that inspite of so much uncertainity and stress at all levels, but if one as a child just gets hold of His finger(His Simran), He our Father, only then, protects us with His presence, at each and every step of ours.

What else do we need? So much Grace, so much Daya Meher is showered, and still we moorakhs, just complain, that too, when we are totally at fault... Shame on us ....

    Waheguru.

    Pen Jee,
though your post above is 5 years now, I can tell you that you have a very positive and a brave view about your situation.
It is true that, your pain is due to your past karam, which will go only when it is duely settled, but Pen Jee, Waheguru the all merciful has also given us the chance to mitigate that pain to an extent, so, you may continue taking the medicines, there is nothing wrong in it.
Like, if we are hungry, we go for food; if we are thirsty we want to drink water, in a similar way, if we are in pain we should take medicines.
Not that, Waheguru will come and feed us, or give us water, for that purpose He has given us sense of discrimination to use it in the right manner and for our own benefit.
Waheguru has never to blamed for any of our misfortunes or miseries, for it is  all our past karam, our own sown seeds...
At the same time, we should engage ourselves in doing His real Bhakti, for with it by His apaar kirpa, we may arise to certain consciouss level within, where even while going through heavy karam, we may not feel its effects.
Of course this is a very saintly state, yet we should go for it,  for we have nothing to loose, but at least be receptive to His apaar kirpa.
    Stay blessed.

Little Johnny was in church with him mom for Sunday Mass when he suddenly felt nauseous.
"Mom, I think I'm going to throw up!"
She told him, "I want you to run outside as fast as you can. Run across the lawn and go behind the bushes. You can throw up behind the bushes and nobody will see you."
So Little Johnny hauled ass for the door. Less than a minute later, he returned to his seat next to his mom. He had the look of obvious relief on his young face.
"Did you make it all the way to the bushes, Johnny?"
"I didn't have to go that far, mom. Just as I got to the front door, I found a box that had a sign on it: FOR THE SICK."

A blonde and a lawyer are seated next to each other on a flight from LA to NY.
The lawyer asks if she would like to play a fun game?
The blonde, tired, just wants to take a nap, politely declines and rolls over to the window to catch a few winks.
The lawyer persists and explains that the game is easy and a lot of fun.
He explains, "I ask you a question, and if you don't know the answer, you pay me $5.00, and vice versa.
" Again, she declines and tries to get some sleep.
The lawyer, now agitated, says, "Okay, if you don't know the answer you pay me $5.00, and if I don't know the answer, I will pay you $500.00."
This catches the blonde's attention and, figuring there will be no end to this torment unless she plays, agrees to the game.
The lawyer asks the first question.
"What's the distance from the earth to the moon?"
The blonde doesn't say a word, reaches into her purse, pulls out a $5.00 bill and hands it to the lawyer.
"Okay" says the lawyer, "your turn."
She asks the lawyer, "What goes up a hill with three legs and comes down with four legs?"
The lawyer, puzzled, takes out his laptop computer and searches all his references, no answer.
He taps into the air phone with his modem and searches the net and the library of congress, no answer.
Frustrated, he sends e-mails to all his friends and coworkers, to no avail.
After an hour, he wakes the blonde, and hands her $500.00.
The blonde says, "Thank you," and turns back to get some more sleep.
The lawyer, who is more than a little miffed, wakes the blonde and asks, "Well, what's the answer?"
Without a word, the blonde reaches into her purse, hands the lawyer $5.00, and goes back to sleep.
And you thought blondes were dumb.

    Hello Sukrit Kaur,
    Please read the following example.

[ A king wanted to choose best responsible person for his thrown, so he held a meeting with his 3 sons. He ordered his sons to undergo the journey of all religious places within one year and he also gave them 3 horses (one to each) which they had to use for travelling. First son did not start his journey and just fed his horse extremely well and converted his horse into very fat. Second son started his journey and he tried to complete the journey as soon as possible and therefore ignored the health of his horse. He over-use the capacity of his horse and eventually his horse died before completing his journey. Third son was very wise, he calculated that if he travel this much distance each day he would be able to complete his journey on time. This way he travelled pre-planned distance each day and also took care of his horse by giving him proper food and rest. Eventually he completed his journey within the provided time.

The third son who completed his journey on time by visting all religious places was chosen as next King. The one who did not start his journey was given punishment by the king. Same way, God has given us this body (as horse) so that we can complete our spiritual journey to God within this human birth time. If we did not remember God during our time on earth then we are like the first son and therefore we will be given punishment by Lord of Justice by either throwing us in Hells or giving us birth in lower species. If we act like second son and due to Virag we did hard penance of God without taking care of our body, then we might get another chance (another human birth) by God so that we can continue our journey. We are supposed to act like third son by remembering God and taking care of our body by fulfilling his needs. i.e When we were in mother's womb, everyone (regardless of caste, creed, and religion) promised God that we will do God's worship for at-least 2.5 hours out of 24 hours. This is our main duty that we have to do along with our wordly duties. ]

So, bottom line is to take care of your body so that it can help you to achieve your Spiritual goal. Believe me, it is not fun to do bhagati in illness. So, enjoy your bhagati while taking care of your body.

Hello friends,i just want to add bout my situation here.I am too suffering from severe pains regarding health and this is really critical.I remember when I was about 14 ,I used to prayer o lord I only remember you when I need you Like when it's the exam time or any little worries.so please, keep me in such state in my entire life that I never forget you.At that time ,I was a kid.I didn't know much about life. Now the fact is I am continously in series of pains. It's been 3 years,I am critically ill at heath.I am suffering with throat problems.Intake of drugs is now for me to get rid of it.I m 19 now.Initially ,when I was diagnosed with such problems I used to get bothered. But then I remembered, No!it's a part of life and it's the waheguru's kirpa that i m getting familiar with the importance of life.Due to my health issues ,I lost my studies for a year. But by his grace,I am well fighting for it.I keep smiling all the time.
My friends dont believe that I am suffering this much.Even my doctor do appreciate me.But as man never gets satisfied, the only problem now is I dont want to take medicines anymore.I am in a situation like I am ignoring my health.I dont care much about it.yes ,It does pain a lot the whole day but Now I am like ok with it.I say let see how much It can persist.I know It can be cured with medicines, but I am not ok with it now.I mean ,I 've learnt how to live with it.I dunno whether I am doing right or not?

The local sheriff was looking for a deputy, so Gomer - who was not exactly the sharpest nail in the bucket went in to try out for the job. "Okay," the sheriff drawled, "Gomer, what is 1 and 1?" "11" he replied.
The sheriff thought to himself, "That's not what I meant, but he's right."
"What two days of the week start with the letter 'T'?" "Today and tomorrow."
He was again surprised that Gomer supplied a correct answer that he had never thought of himself.
"Now Gomer, listen carefully: Who killed Abraham Lincoln?" Gomer looked a little surprised himself, then thought really hard for a minute and finally admitted, "I don't know."
"Well, why don't you go home and work on that one for a while?"
So, Gomer wandered over to the pool hall where his pals were waiting to hear the results of the interview.
Gomer was exultant. "It went great!
First day on the job and I'm already working on a murder case!"

The math teacher saw that little Johnny wasn't paying attention in class.
She called on him and said, "Johnny! What are 2 and 4 and 28 and 44?"
Little Johnny quickly replied, "NBC, FOX, ESPN and the Cartoon Network!"

Little Johnny was doing his math homework. He said to himself, "Two plus five, that son of a admin cut is seven.
Three plus six, that son of a admin cut is nine."
His mother heard what he was saying and gasped, "What are you doing?"
The little boy answered, "I'm doing my math homework."
"And this is how your teacher taught you to do it?" the mother asked. "Yes," he answered.
Infuriated, she called Little Johnny's teacher the next day, "What are you teaching my son in class?"
The teacher replied, "Right now, we are learning addition."
The mother asked, "And are you teaching them to say two plus two, that son of a admin cut is four?"
After the teacher stopped laughing, she answered, "What I taught them was, two plus two, the sum of which is four."

Three men, a philosopher, a mathematician and an idiot, were out riding in the car when it crashed into a tree.
Before anyone knows it, the three men found themselves standing before the pearly gates of Heaven, where St. Peter and the Devil were standing nearby.
"Gentlemen," the Devil started, "Due to the fact that Heaven is now overcrowded, St. Peter has agreed to limit the number of people entering Heaven. If anyone of you can ask me a question which I don't know or cannot answer, then you're worthy enough to go to Heaven; if not, then you'll come with me to Hell."
The philosopher then stepped up, "OK, give me the most comprehensive report on Socrates' Socrates' teachings."
With a snap of his finger, a stack of paper appeared next to the Devil. The philosopher read it and concluded it was correct. "Then, go to Hell!" With another snap of his finger, the philsopher disappeared.
The mathematician then asked,"Give me the most complicated formula ever theorized!" With a snap of his finger, another stack of paper appeared next to the Devil. The mathematician read it and reluctantly agreed it was correct. "Then, go to Hell!" With another snap of his finger, the mathematician disappeared too.
The idiot then stepped forward and said, "Bring me a chair!"
The Devil brought forward a chair.
"Drill 7 holes on the seat." The Devil did just that. The idiot then sat on the chair and let out a very loud fart.
Standing up, he asked, "Which hole did my fart come out from?"
The Devil inspected the seat and said,"The third hole from the right."
"Wrong," said the idiot, "it's from my asshole."
And the idiot went to heaven.

Just my 2 cents, to understand what Mahaparlay is,  let us see how the creation is divided.
There are several levels of consciousness, or planes, or regions so to say.
The lowest is this material creation, above it is the astral region,  and above that is the causal region. It is called causal, becuase it is there where all our store karma gets accumulated. This is the region, from where all the incarnations with their abodes/heavens; prophets, and some highly eveolved spiritual beings come to our level, with a particular of keeping this mayavee creation going on.
This region is also known as Brahm,  for  maya is still very much present there. Which has nothing to do with the god Brahma.
After that comes, Parbrahm region, much purer than the regions mentioned above, yet it is not pure spiritual, there is utter darkness, so much that it is known as Maha Sunn.
This can only be crossed in the company of Shabad Guru, for, Shabad Guru only, has the Jot to pierce that utter darkness.
At the end of Maha Sunn, is the end of the perishable creation.
After Maha Sunn, comes Sach Khand, the region of eternity, immortality, purity and Supreme Truth/Satnam.
It is from this region, from where Akal Purukh descends, not as any incarnations or any gods of any trinity, but only, as Guru Sahiban, Gurmukhs, Sant Jan and Bhagat Jan, for the only purpose of, giving us jeevas their bountiful love and unlimited mercy, and to reveal us the mysteries  about the Supreme Truth, Waheguru, as Nam or Shabad, for they are the very manisfestation of Him, at our level.
Had He not come so, we by ourselves, could never ever reach Him, for we would be very much astrayed in rituals, gods, idol worship...... manmat
In this respect, the Bani clearly tells us: Mat koe barahm bhoolay sansaar, bin Satgur, koe na utraas paar.
Let us have  a look around ourselves, and see how many  from the whole creation know about Waheguru ?
How many then, implicitly follow instructions from the Bani in devoting themselves to Waheguru, in order to realize Him, and merge in Him?
As sikhs, our goal should be only Waheguru Akal Purukh, for in Him alone lies our true welfare,  for only by devoting ourselves to Him, we  get throughly cleansed/purified from all the filth of our sins/karmas, obtain liberation from the wheel of 84, and only then become fit and worthy to merge and become one with Him.
    Waheguru is IK, one only.
In Him, there is no trinity, no variety, no forms such at turtle, no half man-half lion , no sizes, no duality, or any companion such as shakti.....nothing of that sort...that is all maya, and I am so sorry, that inspite of the incomparable magnificence and Infinity of Waheguru, many many of our sikh brothers and sisters, get impressed by the  powers and forms of those incarnations, thus mistakenly believe that those forms are of Waheguru, which is not true at all ....
To see the differences between all these mayavee forms and our beloved Guru Sahiban, we have to pay careful attention to the Bani, not as parrots, but as real sikhs by drinking the Amrit in each Sat Bachan  from it.
Then only we can see, that Gurmat gives only importance to His Saacha Nao, Nam, or Shabad, nothing else, nothing more apart from it...
As the Bani says: Jug chaaray Nam outam, shabd veechar. Througout all yugas, Gurmat gives only importance to the One and only Truth, Nam, that is it.
Apart from  one Him and His Nam, all else is undoubtedly Maya.
It is a real pity, that even after having the highest teachings through Gurbani, we keep looking here and there and get  confused.... maybe the reason for that, is we do not put into practice, what we are repeatedly told  in the Bani  as seen in the following sat bachan of Guru Jee:
Har Naam Bisaariaa, Bahu Karam Dhrirraaeae
They forget the Lord's Name, and in its place, they establish all sorts of rituals(practices)
    Bhavajal Ddoobae Dhoojai Bhaaeae
They drown in the terrifying world-ocean, in the love of duality.
Raag Gauri, Sree Guru Amar Das Maharaj.

    Stay blessed.

are there any flaws in the Sikh faith?
Simple answer is no, for sikhee is not a path by any ordinay human being, but He Waheguru Akal Purukh Himself, the most wise and perfect being, through His manifestations as Guru Sahiban and Bhagat Jan.
Other thing is, how we low and highly tainted manmukh jeevas interpret their teachings.
To see the simplicity and completeness of Sikhee, let us take the following 5 sat bachan of a verse from the Bani.
    Ekas bin, sabh dandh hae.
Here Guru Jee is telling us, apart from that One supreme being Akal Purukh, every other thing is perishable.
So be it anything done, which does not take us to that One, is useless.
So once again, what is it that only that takes us to Him?
As per Bani, the answer is: Jin Har japeeya, se Har hoeeya.
We may want to listen many things, or interpretations from the Bani or interact in so called intelectual discussions, but, Gurbani is crystal clear, in telling us simple and clear  facts of devoting ourselves to this Truth, and  One and only Supreme Truth: Nam/Shabad.
Otherwise, we are sure to get drowned by the flaws in the form of spiritual ignorance, or asat/koor.
    Stay blessed.
