It's Bhai Chaupa Singh Ji's rehatnaama which contains a lot of adulteration.
It also says serve Langar more to Sikhs of Brahman caste. It also says one who gets a female of his household get Amrit is a tankhaiya. So, I mean to say it was may be altered by some false Sikhs who followed Brahman caste system.
Also, on this sehajdhaari SIKH topic, I have come across multiple opinions. Currently, my belief is that anyone who cuts hair cannot call himself a SIKH.
From my meagre understanding, a Sehajdhaari Sikh is someone who wants to become a devoted Amritdhari Sikh. He/she is trying to keep Rehat and follow Gurbani but sometimes, under the influence of Maaya commits bajjar paaps. They demand more time (sehej) to follow the teachings of Gurbani. Means, slowly slowly, with time, they are coming towards the path of spirituality.

Family opinions don't matter because if they are your boss, then Vaheguru is the Founder. (in the context of a business company) Do ardaas to Guru Sahib to give Bibek Budhi to family members who are unintentionally acting as a hindrance in your spiritual journey.
Car accidents and cancer are a concern. Mostly, I have heard that gursikhs don't think it is bad to get hair cut when it comes to your life. But there have also been cases when Sikhs didn't cut their hairs even when it meant losing their lives.
Endless examples from puraatan times and during evil period of Mughal Raj.
A modern example- Sant Kartar Singh Ji Khalsa mukhi of Damdami Taksaal. He was severely injured in a car accident. The doctors said he could be saved if he would allow shaving hairs on his chest to proceed for a surgery. He didn't allow this and happily accepted death and went for Sachkhand.
Another modern example of a Sikh Freedom Fighter during British Rule in India. When Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh Ji met Bhagat Singh, he mentioned the name of a Sikh Freedom Fighter who refused to dye his beard or cut it when the Britishers put a large amount on his head.

Paapiman Ji's advice is really good. However do try to keep Rehat and follow as much hukams of Guru Gobind Singh Ji as you can because they will protect your Kamaayi and help you to fight distractions.

    SARBLOHI TYAAR-BAR-TYAAR BABBAR KHALSE JODHE

First Shaheed of Operation Blue Star, Shaheed Bhai Kulwant (Mehngha) Singh Ji Babbar. When he got shot on the head, nearby Singh asked him, "Are you fine?" and he replied, "Chardikala!". Also, he loved Sri Chandi Di Vaar.

On the extreme right is Shaheed Bhai Amarjeet Singh Babbar who refused to eat anything until he got his kakaars back from the police.

Jathedar Bhai Sukhdev Singh Ji Babbar and Chief Bhai Sulakhan Singh Ji Babbar

    Bhai Talwinder Singh Ji Babbar

Shaheed Bhai Anokh Singh Ji Babbar. He was severely tortured when he was arrested. The police hit him with hot iron rods on his abdomen, prick his private body parts with pins, took out his eyes and cut his tongue but he still repeated Vaheguru with every breath. It was evening time and he asked the time to the junior officer. The officer replied,"It's evening." Bhai Sahib Ji asked him to help him sit with his back on the wall so that he could recite Sri Rehraas Sahib. In the following ardaas, he requested Guru sahib to accept his ardaas today because he couldn't stand up on his feet. (his feet were broken by the dusht police)

Late Jathedar of AKJ UK, Bhai sahib Raghbir Singh Ji Babbar who did and received a lot of pyaar from Shaheed Bhai Anokh Singh Ji Babbar.

In one of the stories of Baba Mitt Singh Ji Huzoor sahib, I remember shaheed singhs themselves gave him Amrit and a baana to wear before taking Amrit. I'll check the color of the baana and the description of the shaheed singhs.

Can only find Katha of Mahapurakhs related to Kirtam Naam and Satnaam. Though this topic is not much discussed in Kathas and Lectures.

When you asked me this question previously, this was my reply.
    *******
I never said that people from previous three yugs weren't liberated. Guru Nanak Dev Ji gave them their darshan.
Eg: Bhagat Dhroo Ji. After immense meditation on KIRTAM NAAM, he still couldn't get darshan of Vaheguru. Finally he decided that he wouldn't eat anything until he received darshan. Seeing his thirst and devotion, Guru Nanak Dev Ji gave him his darshan and gave him Amrit.

@paapimanji you can read his vichar because he has supported his vichar with the help of Gurbani panktis. You can have look at them.

Satguru Ji giving darshan doesn't mean granting a place in Sachkhand. Satguru Ji gives amrit and naam and it is upto the person if he devotes his life to bhagti or not. If one does do prema bhagti, one may get Mukti (place in Sachkhand).

I don't know about opinion of Baba Nand Singh Ji on this. Though many people say that Amrit Vela is between 3-6 am, but it is Daas' personal experience of naam jap after 12 am. When I found it difficult to get up at Amrit Vela during winters, I used to remain awake till 12 am, do my ishnaan, dry my kes, do naam jap and Gurbani Paath till 3:30-4 am and then sleep. My experience was pretty good but sometimes annoying because some of my family members (not much in sikhi) used to knock my door while doing naam jap. Other than that, my experience was really good. But then I gave up this routine because it was affecting my studies a bit.
I would say that this 12am routine can be followed during vacations to do a lot of Kamaayi in less time (but again various other factors also play a role). Also, many Mahapurakhs whose lives I have read about used to sleep really early and wake up at 12 am to do Kamaayi (in their old age).

Bhai sahib, from the knowledge I have received by reading books of Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh Ji, I would say that 'RAM' is a very powerful mantar but cannot take you to Sachkhand.
Only Vaheguru Mantar can take you to Sachkhand. This is because these names are relevant until the creation is not destroyed.
Eg: Ram means one pervading everywhere or omnipresent. When this whole creation (all worlds and universes) will be destroyed someday by Vaheguru Ji, then this 'everywhere' will NOT exist. So 'pervading everywhere' becomes irrelevant. When there no 'everywhere' then who can pervade 'everywhere'.
Another Eg: Gopal means one who sustains this earth/land. When this land will not exist (and all other lands) then 'sustainer of lands' will become irrelevant. There can be no sustainer of land when there is no land.
    These mantars are irrelevant when,

When the Lord Himself was in Profound Samaadhi,

then against whom were hate and jealousy directed?

There's a couple of explanations for this.  My knowledge of gurmukhi grammar is quite basic but I can try and explain in terms of english grammar.
    1) In english grammar we have  " Present simple tense" and "Present continuous tense". However, the"so-dar" doesn't fall under this explanation strictly but is probably the nearest that I could explain relative to english.
Present simple tense is like saying "the angels SING at the door" and Present continuous would be "the angels ARE singing or DO sing at your door" . The latter is more like a confirmation as to say yes, they are singing at the door. In rehraas, the So-dar is relative to Guru Nanak actually being there himself as he did during those 3 days in the river Bein.
In Japji, it could be instruction from GOD to say "Gāvahi cẖiṯ gupaṯ likẖ jāṇėh likẖ likẖ ḏẖaram vīcẖāre"  Chitr Gupt and Dharamraj  who record your accounts SING there, whereas in Rehraas it is the confirmation that the angels are singing to 'YOU'  See below the extra ਤੁਧਨੋ  is in Rehraas, meaning 'you' . Therefore, it's not an instruction from God as the sentences are from a second person stood at the actual door.
Gāvan ṯuḏẖno cẖiṯ gupaṯ likẖ jāṇan likẖ likẖ ḏẖaram bīcẖāre.
Chitr and Gupt, the angels of the conscious and the subconscious who keep the record of actions, and the Righteous Judge of Dharma who reads this record, sing of You.
    2) There's also been some slightly different explanations like Japji is the early morning instruction from GOD that we should read before beginning gristi day and then in evening, the Rehraas is a thank you and direct addressing to GOD from us in order to thank him for completing the day. so we say say ਗਾਵਨਿ ਤੁਧਨੋ
    3) I'm sure that many gurmukhs on the spiritual ladder have their own understandings as per avastha. Gurbani applies with different messages from same panktees to individuals as per their avasthas (spiritual status).

also totally agree with @GurjantGnostic explanation below.
Gurbani can't be ambiguous and each pangtee has to be assigned to specific ang. We have Guru Arjan dev jees 'seal' of mundavni as well as the manner it was compiled in order to keep it's authenticity intact.

Akaali Baba Maan Singh Ji, Jathedar of Guru Nanak Dal is one of the few gursikhs today who has supported worldwide parchaar of Sikhi. His love for keertan and amount of bani he has memorized is unimaginable. Plus he strictly follows hukam of Guru Angad Dev Ji of having a fit and healthy lifestyle.

Does anyone know the reason why there is a difference between So Dar pauris in Sri Japji Sahib and Sri Rehraas Sahib?
    Like,
The praanic wind, water and fire sing; the Righteous Judge of Dharma sings at Your Door.

Wind, water and fire sing of You. The Righteous Judge of Dharma sings at Your Door.
And we all know there are minor differences in almost all panktis of So Dar pauri in both banis.

I heard in Katha that essentially identical parts of Gurbani always have minor differences to distinguish them, so that if you read it, you can find the exact occurence in Gurbani and not be confused which, and when reciting Gurbani it doesn't trick you into losing your place and skipping to another Ang out of habit.
I'm not sure if that's relevant Hanji.
