​Sikhi was a missionary faith but from past 100-150 years It is more Punjabi tribalism. The issue of state of Punjab are considered as sikh issues. Punjabi language is considered as sikh language.
 
My brother told me that  it takes months for few of his friends from Oriissa , to understand that punjabi hindu and sikhs are different.. sometimes few religions got stuck in this like jews , jains and parsis .These religions never become religion of masses 

The benefit of reservation was not given to Budhist Dalits it is only recently they India accepted that they too should be included in the reservation category.I even read that Sardar Patel was not willing extend benefit to Lower caste Sikhs ,but Thanks to Master Tara Singh the benefits were extended to them O/W all the lower castes Sikhs would had declared themselves Hindu's

No matter what Ravidassia's say the fact is they will never ask GOI to recognise them as separate religion as if their demand is fulfilled then reservation benefits will be stripped of as the entire religion can never be in the category of reservation

People like you  put a petetion to all sikh scholars and sikh bodies  that maharaja Ranjit singh was not sikh and never ever there was sikh kingdom , don't teach any young sikh about Maharaja ranjit singh as he was not sikh.

This quote is clearly condemning a sikh who keep kes without amrit means 90% of today's world keshadhari sikhs

Let these monay follow Ram rahim , Radhaswami or convert to christianity or any other faith. You are looking it from the feminist point of view, a movement of of developed countries of 20th century and greatly helped by science. 1699 was different time . Khalsa was supposed to be martial and at that times you need to be quite strong to be martial .
Women at that time used to get married at 14-15 and produced 5-6 kids . infant mortality death from epidemics diseases were quite high.moreover martial communnities loose population at fast pace..Please tell how it was possible for women to have pregnancies in their prime youth and fighting war at the same time. It was simply not possible .That is why women who fought in war like Mai bhago were always few. For majority to fight in war , they have to renounce their duty of producing 4-5 kids and this mean death of that society at that time. Again you are wrong , rapes in India is not higher. Population wise rapes in India is quite low

In India there is only 1.8 rapes per 100000 population compared to UKs 27 rapes. Even if you say that there is under reporting and increase rape stats of India
10 times it is still lower than UK or USA

It depend whether you are asking for spiritual or political defination of sikh.. If we go by defination that only a person following Guru is sikh then how many corrupt politicians of Punjab and Akali Dal and how many corrupt Gurdwara officials will qualify as Sikhs?

This is theory reality is anyone born in sikh is considered as sikh unless he/she publicaly renounce his religion.When a Sikh man abandon his turban so many sikhs become emotional at that time do they at that time feel that person was never a sikh and was just wearing turban because he was born in sikh family.also if tommorow 100 born sikhs will convert to islam or christianity then there will be big ho halla in sikh community .Why at that time nobody say that they were never sikh so Sikhs just need not to care
