Why would you sell it and encourage others to commit stupid acts? Its like selling guns to left and right and not taking responsobility when some jackass starts killing people with the very same gun you gave him.. in my view it is wrong

Singh I did not mean to victim blame so let me clarify. There is no doubt that the filthy perpetrators are the only ones to blame. It’s their actions alone. And you are absolutely right regarding breaking of law and the Sikhs being hard working people.
The reason I mention the Sikh community having a responsibility (and notice I put them in as the third and last) is due to them being targeted for 30+ years. If someone breaks into my house for 10 years straight and after 8 years I still haven’t installed an alarm and often forget to close my windows,- then surely there should be some self-pondering right ? Bhai Jagraj Singh in one of his wake up calls talked about one of the Major problems being that “the girls don’t believe in the Khalsa anymore, they don’t believe the Khalsa will help them” (paraphrased from memory). This was one of the problems - that the girls didn think they could find help amongst their own. When Bhai sahib was here giving a two day camp we had long talks with him on this issue and he also stated the Sikh community should have been more alert and much earlier. Today the situation is different luckily. More girls turn to their own for help. There is a greater focus amongst Sikh ngos such as Sikh awareness society, Sikh youth Birmingham, basics of Sikhi, Sikh helpline and individual parcharaks who work hard with the community, activism and authorities to stop this.

Dal you talk a lot about the Khalsa being brave and tough. yet since I edited one of your posts in 2015 due to disgusting language you’ve held a grudge against me. You act like a sensitive little school girl forever holding a grudge. Get real man. This is just a Internet forum, Panthic issues are not solved here - go into the real world and be useful to others rather than always sitting at home. I always fail to understand how people can get so serious about a internet forum and gain hatred towards people they don’t even know. Get a life and get over yourself.

In generel I think it is also a good idea for kathavaaks to study subjects outside the Sikh canon. Ie study some psychology, logic, rhetorics, politics etc.

99,9% of the bani is the same, but the bhanno edition has some extra banis compromising maybe 5-10 pages extra. As far as I remember there are three versions that were prevalent in the 18th century
The Adi Granth of Guru Arjan. Many copies were made of this throughout the 17th and 18th century. It does'nt contain the banis of Guru Tegh Bahadur The Bhanno bir. It contains all of the Adi Granth with some extra banis towards the end The Damdama Bir of Guru Gobind SIngh. It contains all of the Adi Granth and the banis of Guru Tegh Bahadur and became known as the Guru Granth SAhib. The Adi Granth and Bhanno Bir were still copied throughout the 18th century (after Guru Gobind Singh had finalised the Guru Granth Sahib). In the case of the bhanno beer I think it was because many scribes were not aware of these extra banis (it's easy to miss 5-10 pages out of a Granth that contains several thousand pages). The Adi Granth was most likely copied in areas, where they already had an old Adi Granth saroop and therefore they copied it again and again to have more saroops in the local area.

Some people say that these extra banis belong to the ucharans of the early Gurus and hence were still considered pavitar mukhvaak by the Sikhs even though Guru Arjan did not find them relevant to include in the saroop.
If you read the early Janam Sakhis you can see the Gurus reciting many shabads that are not in the Guru Granth Sahib. But because they were said by the Gurus the Sikhs still saw them as holy and therefore continued to transmit them. So many Sikh scribes would take these ucharans and put them at the end of Guru Granth Sahib as a way of preserving these banis. In the same way many hukamname were added to saroops etc. to preserve them in Sikh manuscripts.
That's one theory I heard.

It is true in a historical sense. If you go to Punjab Digital Library you can find that some saroops of Guru Granth sahib contain extra banis at the end, also recipes for how to make ink, lists of the jyoti jyot dates of the Gurus, info about the scribe etc.

amardeep got a reaction from Arsh1469 in Manglacharan of Bhavrasamrit by Pandit Gulab Singh
The following are mentioned in the manglacharan:
Ik Oankaar Satgur Prasaad
Ram Chander
Guru Nanak
Guru Gobind Singh
Vidiyaguru Maan Singh
According to Bhai Tirath Singh Ram Chander is praised in the beginning due to his position as the Yug avatar of a previous age. This position is then extended to Guru Nanak wherein it is explicitely stated that Guru Nanak has come in Kalyug and has removed the older practices of the previous yuga. In this way both are considered as Yug avatars with Guru Nanak having replaced Ram Chander. Whereas Ram Chander is praised for having built a bridge that brought people across the ocean of existence, - Guru Nanak is praised as being the raft itself that will carry people across the ocean of existence. The lineage is then continued to Guru Gobind Singh and down to Pandit Maan Singh from whom Pandit Gulab Singh got his knowledge (Vidiya, Shanti, Sugyaan and Sukhi).
