When Banda Singh Bahadur asked him where are these Shaheed Singhs, Guru Jee told him to look up in the sky, and to Banda Singh's amazement he saw crores of fully armed Shaheed Singhs. This story is mentioned in Suraj Prakash. Just because we do not have the abilities to see them doesn't mean they don't exist.

Nothing funny about it brother. All Mahapursh describe Shaheed Singh as being fully armed with traditional Khalsa weapons, sort of like Nihang Singhs. It has been said that Shaheed Singh can even help the Khalsa in times of battle when evoked by rehetvaan or Kamaiwalay Singhs.

The Punjabi Pehelvans of the olden times would swing clubs alot. They say it brings about alot of power/strength. This along with Hindu pushups and hindu squats, and no one can beat you.

For a long time their Dera's head/leader was a direct descendent of Banda Singh Bahadur from his 1st wife. But that blood line discontinued after the time of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Jee.

Tony is right about this point. The fact that India with it's Sikh dominated army literally liberated Bangladesh without expecting anything in return, you would expect them to be grateful to India. Instead they are now killing Indian soldiers on the border and persecuting their minorities especially the Hindu minority. It seems they would have been better off living under Pakistani rule.

Well, I still beleive that Hanuman Jee was a Monkey or some sub species of monkey that may no longer exist, and he did have a poonch. He wore a Kashara and that Kashara had a little hole in the back for the poonch to go through. Dhoti cannot accomodate a poonch but a Kashara can. Hanuman Jee was an avtar ansh of Shiv Jee who had enormous powers. For him to send his ansh in the form of a monkey-man is no big deal for him. But to many modernists like you Bahadur this may seem like mere myth. Go ahead deny it, doesn't mean it's not true.

Bahadur, we go by what Gurbani says above all else. Furthurmore, I can understand that Dhoti was the dress that most people wore, but how can Hanuman Jee wear a Dhoti with his Poonch sticking out? A Kashara can be the only logical thing for him to wear with a little hole in the back for the poonch to come out from.

Sri Hanuman Jee also wore a Kashera. Since he had a tale, a Dhoti was not enough, so Kashera was the logical choice for him. Not just Hanuman, but even Baali and other warriors.

Hard to say. Both sides have very convincing arguements. I guess we can only determin this if this were to happen to us. What would we want? Say if you are suffering from a very painful desease and you know that you will die within a couple of weeks and the time leading to your end will be extremely painful, would you want to go through that pain or just end it painlessly?
