Yes, it's called "bioperine" and available to purchase in tablet and capsule form also. Piperine or Bioperine works by stimulating liver enzymes which in turn will help metabolize haldee  more efficiently. Personally, I do recommend that you take it with most fat soluble vitamins and supplements. Common fat soluble vitamins are A,D,E and K.  Nowadays, some multivitamin and mineral brands include the bioperine (3-5g) as an active ingredient.

    Good question...
It's about disassociating your consciousness(surti) from the illusion of maya.
We don't physically plug the ears, nose or the privates down below, but the eyes become more of a concern?   Yes, they do.
Why?... because we have got so accustomed to allowing our mind to sit at the eyes more than any other indries.  Now, remember that the bhagtee is all about "Sukham"  So we  can learn to have physical eyes open whilst keeping  sukham eyes disassociated from physical objects or akar.  The aim is to not let the mann sit at the physical eyes whether they are open on not.    A little tricky? I  know.   But  with practice, and as naam starts to become more manifest, you should start seeing the brahm prakash everywhere in the empty space around you. It will become a lot easier then.
The Gurmat Meditation guys and Bhai Tohana jee always suggest us to try and focus on that empty space with eyes open and then slowly close the eyes, and you should be looking at the same 'khalee khalaa' (empty space) when eyes are closed. This is helpful because it stops people moving their eyeball around when eyes are shut. To look at the void empty space, your eyes have to be still at first, and then when you start to see the prakash of satch, you can move them around and see it everywhere.
Hope that answers how it may be done with eyes open, however, I'm sure many will suggest that if you find it easier to halt your mann with closed eyes, then continue closing them.  But yes, it is good practice to attempt both and like @GurjantGnostic stated above.  It's how we can take it into the world on a day to day basis.
Personally, and most of the time, I find it easier with eyes closed and then If I've been in a session for a while and the room is dim, I can usually carry on with as much focus with the eyes open.

A few key things to remember is that IDA is on the left side and called moon energy, whereas PINGALA is on the right and called sun energy. Because of the imbalance of these, we all suffer in life. Emotions, suppressing emotions, suppressing guilt, anger etc..all lead to disease and illness. Primary root cause is always the degree of imbalance from left to right nostril.  Sukhmana is the channel in the middle and is only activated and awakened when ida and pingala are balanced. The geographical rivers gunga, jumna and sarswati represent these 3 channels also.
These energy channels are subtle and if physical body is cut open. then nerve fibers, blood vessels, veins etc can be seen but NOT these channels. The energy they carry is "PRANA" which is also subtle and not to be confused with Air or Pavan.  However, the process of breathing does activate and stimulate the flow of this subtle life force called PRAAN or PRANA.  So there is a correlation between breath and prana but it's not the same thing. NOTE that these Nadee channels are also called meridians and chi. Acupuncture, IMS etc. and most ayuverdic approaches work on these 'invisible' channels.
I remember a little about thermocouple from physics, and yes I agree.  When a closed circuit is formed by closing junctions then the electrical force within is generated. In similar fashion, when 9 doors of body are closed, then spiritual force from praan is generated that would open the 10th gate.
When you look around at even a battery, we have negative and positive charges that don't do anything until a closed circuit connection is made on both ends.

Thanks a lot Paaji for sharing this.
Did you notice that some of the items specified here (and others ingredients which are used to make Sukhnidhaan) are good for the brain (and overall health)? It relates to the point made by Gyani Thakur Singh jee about mental illnesses faced by our kids, which was shared earlier.
    One example, Nutmeg.
    Quote
The spice contains various compounds that boost mood, help relieve pain, and relax blood vessels and lower blood pressure. Some research suggests that a nutrient found in nutmeg may help slow cognitive decline in individuals with Alzheimer's disease and promote the recovery of brain tissue following a stroke.

the 10th door is sukham. From navel to trikuti is bhavsagar.   The imbalance of pavan from ida and pingla, cause this turbulence.  Naun darwajay (9 doors) are in this area. 2 eyes, 2 ears, 2 nostrils, mouth, anus, urethra(pashaab wali jaga)..   MANN surti is connected to maya since it is connected to Pavan.  Pavan is guru of maya.     Gurmukhs advise that one has to disconnect the Mann from the PAVAN. Whilst the MANN is in pavan it will remain in thoughts all the while and be in tre-gunn maya. To disconnect the Mann from pavan is when you stop the thoughts, vichaar and furnay of the mind.  Can only be done by becoming thoughtless and ik-chit with internal shabad.   Goal of bhagtee is to become thoughtless and Ik-mann, ik-chit with shabad.

Hanji veer ji 🙏 I can understand what you are saying.
@Lucky just a side question. I understand that we can have many relationships with Waheguru ji like father, mother, sibling and a friend.
And there is the relation of Husband and Wife. I understand its a very special one and probably the final destination. Having read the jivans of Baba Nand Singh ji and Baba Ishar Singh ji Kaleran, they were very very protective about their time between 12:30 am to 3 ish am. Mahapurush said that it was their time to be intimate with Nirankar, and there were special pehredars both physically and Shaheed Singhs , to make sure they were not disturbed. Even if a devotee did mental ardaas to Mahapurush during that Amritvela, it was frowned upon. So I understand it was a very intimate time. Mahapurush also often referred themselves as having had the viah done with Guru Nanak Sahib. I feel its so beautiful.

that's an important point. You CAN have darshan of waheguru in sargun saroop. But you have to remember that darshan of nirankar in the nijh ghar is where there is na roop, na rang, na rekh.
With regards to the 2 parties above, they are both correct in what they say. It's difficult to explain and it's all to do with experience but I have had a stage where I was getting the golden prakash some years ago. It was constant in nearly every session but it did not open any doors and it was NOT nirankar. However, I'm also aware that a golden prakash can manifest as a gateway for some abyasees, so the only way they will know if it is that, is if they focus on it. This is why I believe that Bhai Dharamjit says that Bha Sewa Singh told him to advise his relatives to focus on it. Bhai Dharamjit has not had the golden prakash because he mentions it was his relatives that were describing it.   The opening of darwaja happens in different ways for different people and in my experience it didn't involve any golden colors.
In general, and according to many advanced yoga texts, seeing golden color is a positive sign. I remember reading that in theravada it is the awakening of heart chakra to ajna chakra. This is also same as 3rd eye fully awakening and looking through the sukhmana nadee. There were different names given by yogananda and patanjali texts for this but none of them said it was the ONE himself. All explained that it was stage of going into higher consciousness towards chautha padh or into uradh avstha.
yes, I agree, this is a little skeptical.  My interpretation of the whole shabad and the pauree that precedes is important imho. Let's be clear that Nirankar has no color, no form and no shape.. However, he can reveal himself in immaculate 'niranjan' form as gurbani mentions many times. When I first looked at the pangtee on it's own, I  thought it were describing Dharamraj  lol!
I can give you an idea of my interpretation at the moment so you can get the gist and maybe delve into it further.
in the pauri that is previous, Guru ji is talking as 2nd person to God and as I explained in another topic of the so-dar paurees difference, Guruji speaks as second perosn and sometimes as first person Nirankar himself, as if instruction from God. However, in the later part of the paurees he could also be speaking as a 2nd person to a 3rd party instead of directly to God. 3rd party being soul-brides/ suhellees
    Naḏar karahi ṯā sācẖ pacẖẖāṇā.
If You bless me with Your Glance of Grace, I realize the Truth.

Sācẖo pacẖẖāṇā ṯām ṯerā jām āp bujẖāvhe.
Only then do I come to realize the Truth, when You Yourself instruct me.
Firstly, Looking at the "sach pachana" and ignoring the english translation slightly for the moment..  first line is "Naḏar karahi ṯā sācẖ pacẖẖāṇā."  if you do nadar then I can pachaan (recognise) the form of the satch. To "pachaan' is to recognize, acknowledge and confirm. Like 'pachaan' someone you haven't seen since childhood.  In the next line he starts of with "Sachh pachaan" after ending previous line with 'sach pachaana'. Breaking down the translation slightly, .. Sācẖo pacẖẖāṇā ṯām ṯerā jām āp bujẖāvhe. .  sach pachana,(recognize sach) tam(then)  tera jam ap(so long as you, yourself) bujhavhe(give the understanding/confirm).. To "bujh" something is to work it out or guess it yourself. Bujhavhay= is when he gives you the answer/confirmation.
In a way, Guruji is asking God to reveal himself in recognizable fashion. Then in following lines he talks about Maya. and making people understand something that is "alakh" (invisible) and "apara" (infinite)

In the next verse Guru ji is speaking as 2nd person TO God and describing his attributes as per creator's creation akin to human good looks.

    Kancẖan kā▫i▫ā su▫ine kī dẖālā.
Your body is so precious, cast in gold.

But in the pangtees that follow, He's talking to a 3rd person and describing God.. He's addressing sister friends as if he is also a "suhelee" in the context of describing lover/husband good looks as per mayavee duniya.
Sovann dẖālā krisan mālā japahu ṯusī sahelīho.
His body is cast in gold, and He wears Krishna's mala; meditate on Him, O sisters.

Jam ḏu▫ār na hohu kẖaṛī▫ā sikẖ suṇhu mahelīho.
You shall not have to stand at Death's door, O sisters, if you listen to these teachings.

Hans hansā bag bagā lahai man kī jālā.
From a crane, you shall be transformed into a swan, and the filth of your mind shall be removed.

It is not the description that guruji was asking for in aforementioned "bhujavay" since he confirmed the alak and apar . He instructs his sisters or "mahelio"(soul brides) to meditate on him and not fall for good looks/ beauty in creation and indulge in vices. LISTEN "sunhu" maheliho is the key here.   He's indirectly addressing their passions for mayavee beauty , as he calls us souls the "bagla" cranes with filth of vices and desires on our minds.  Remember that we are all the 'mahelio' souls/brides.
In the lines that follow, I think that he is describing us (soul-brides) after we have transformed from cranes to swans in inner purity, as in last pangtee he describes how the bride will be intoxicated and flowing like ganges in this world.

I've come across yoga texts where they verify that balancing of ida pingla is easier at periods before sunrise and sunset. At those times, the left and right seem to naturally switch over in short space of time. Left could be dominant for few minutes, then right could be dominant, and then left again..etc.  During this period it is much easier to get into a steady state of equilibrium and be in sehaj.  Of course, the way you live in daily life and jeevan jatch plays a big part in this because you can't come back from casino at 12 am and then try and get into sehaj a few hours later.

Ḏūkẖ bẖūkẖ sansār kī▫e sahsā ehu cẖukāvhe.
The pain and hunger of the world are Your making; dispel this doubt.

Binvanṯ Nānak jā▫e sahsā bujẖai gur bīcẖārā.
Prays Nanak, ones skepticism is taken away, when he understands the Guru's wisdom.

vadā sāhib hai āp alakẖ apārā. ||6||
The Great Lord Master is unfathomable and infinite. ||6||
In the next verse Guru ji is speaking as 2nd person TO God and describing his attributes as per creator's creation akin to human good looks.
    Ŧere banke lo▫iṇ ḏanṯ rīsālā.

If you go further and look into vadhaans Mehal 3, you'll see that vadhaans mehala 1 was build up to 3rd patshahees composition which is directly about husband lord and soul bride.   The whole vadhaans baani has to be read in it's entirety to get the full picture.

I come across this beautiful illustration,  before this things were bit confusing for me.  This pic is for those who are listening to Bhai Simranjit Singh Tohana or prabh milne ka chao or Waheguru Simran you tube channels for naam abyiaas. I know it is kind of spiritual science anatomy,  but it is true and helps a lot.

I keep being reminded of this.
You know how a thermocouple works?
It has two wires, of different types, and as the heat travels down one side faster than the other it creates an electrical charge from the imbalance. Because of the imbalance.
Not only do we hear about these energy channels being slightly out of balance, but we have one side longer than the other.
It makes me wonder if the human body works like an energy thermocouple?

the 10th door is sukham.

    Let agree to disagree then.
Maybe Sukha is a reminder or a symbolic representation  to produce the real Naam Rass inside to create that eternal everlasting Bliss which makes you fight battles for your Guru and get Shaheed, win the battle against 5 vikars through the Naam Rass and win this battle of life.

Biggest killer. Biggest gateway drug right now. Normalization of pharma pain meds especially opiates. Super opioids.
    Supposed modern medicine.
    Supposedly better than Afeem.
Your Dr not your drug dealer.
Karam. Decades of forced crack sales in poor neighborhoods and lies about addiction as it applies to moral character coming home to roost and destroying the middle and upper classes. The drs family members. The governments family members. The pharma execs family members.
What alcohol hadn't already done to them.
Now people are having to ask the real questions about drug addiction and the war on drugs which is a war on people.

    Gateway drugs...
When you tell people that alcohol is legal, then that is their baseline for normal, they'll do anything, because they're drunk, and all drugs are basically tamer than alcohol.
So alcohol is THE gateway drug. In truth.
The LIES about Sukha make it a potential gateway drug, the lies only. Because people have been lied to with reefer madness, then they try it, then they know it's all been a lie then they say hey ..what else they lie about? Boom. Gateway.
Tell the truth that alcohol is the hardest drug.  Tell the truth that Sukh is not a drug and all the others are going to kill you. No gateway.
No drunk teens. No addicted teens. No overdoses. No pregnant teens unless they actually decide to fool around just like if they were sober. No mistake there is a place in the Paanth and always has been for Sukha.

    Essential things.
    1. Naam.
    2. breathing and water.
    Beneficial things
    1. Sukha and other vitamins.
    2. Herbal teas without caffine.
    3. Turmeric, ginger and spices.
Things that have a use in war but destory you. To be avoided by all who have the Avastha.
    1. Afeem.
    2. Cocaine. Instantly addictive in nature.
    3. Caffine.
    4. Adrenaline.
    Things you should never touch.
    1. Alcohol
    2. Pcp aka angel dust aka sherm.
    3. Quaaludes and barbiturates, xanax.
    4. Syrups and otc drugs
    5. Meth. Meth. And meth.
    6. Meth.
    7. Meth not even once.
    8. Huffing paint or solvent.
Things I leave up to you if there is a place for. But do not necessarily recommend, that aren't exactly covered in Gurbani and should not be confused with spirituality or enlightenment, but aren't exactly drug abuse with historic uses.
    1. Mushrooms. Be advised. Many known medical benefits now associated, with long term experiential use of people to verify, but is a poion, and can make one very impaired. Only occasional use in the right settings or under the guidance of a psychologist or shaman etc should this be taken for ptsd and brain injuries or a unique experience.
    2. Dmt. I have not done. Be advised. All research indicates it's natural but the effects can be insane.
    3. Ayahuasca or other psychadelics used under guidance and supervision.
It's between you and Maharaja if you are at a stage where this is at all temporarily even appropriate if ever. But they are safer than many other drugs with a more profound effect.
The Truth is you're best off using none of these things ever if you can. The ones they sell otc are just as bad or worse than the natural forms. It doesn't matter if a dr has anything to do with it really.
Touch none of them or Sukha only.
You can use Sukha to shield yourself from worse drugs if you find yourself in compromising medical or social situations.
If it's not for you great. It's not for you. Make your own decisions though not other people's, and be real with yourself about it's place in the Paanth.
When Dharam Yudh happens I expect you all there on gameday and you're gonna wish people bring the Sukha. Or at least be happy enough they brought it for themselves. I gaurantee it.

There is no Nasha in Cannabis period. Some of it is more psychoactive than others that is all. These days I eat it, and I use mainly cbds, and it turns out I was never looking for a head chnage. My body was craving cannabinoids period. Cbd water is simply a blessing. Which is most like SukhNidan or Shaheed Degh. I'd happily ingest the more psychoactive cannabis like in Bhang too. It does not do anything to your mind like they say it does. Only people with no experience parrot the tv.

Best way to know the truth of a drug is see the homeless person it creates and their state. Alcoholics have less dignity and health than junkies, coke heads or tweakers.
Only Sukha doesn't create homeless people. Or behaviors that get you locked up. The only downside to Sukha is the reefer madness that assails it. So it's artificially negative only because of mans laws and ignorance.
