Try creatine and Amino Acids (AA). The AA will help recovery and maybe lessen the soreness after training. Have you ordered any equipment yet?

Yes power comes from Bhati but it is a known fact that puratan sikh used to do a lot of shastar training they kept themselves physically fit, even guru sahib held wrestling competitions .

You know there's allegedly financial competition between the Karamsar and Singh Sabha Gurdware in E London ?

If there's any 'slagging off' it's like a sports team rivalry thing. It was small before but it needed more space. There can be a lot of 'rivalry' where there are multiple Gurdware in an area.
Most Gurdware were or are built on ex-Church ground/building, think Barking was also.
And another thing which you likely know, is that Karamsar is headed mainly by Ramgarhias (building work led by another 'old boy' of Rampur) and Barking and Seven Kings (close relationship) are those people you mention from time to time...

I've personally heard people from SS properly sl@g off Karamsar when it wasn't the beautiful Indic structure it is now, as a 'hut'.  Barking has probably  done what it has as a reactive (architectural) response  to the Karamsar Gurdwara???

Lifting proper can be the solution to all this too. Most people just don't balance out their movements, do it with strain, and don't do compound movements or meditate while doing it. Weight lifting done right is range of motion, range of massage...just with uhh...some weight. Most people's fear and ego is involved in weights and gyms so they pack on too much too quick and just begin a series of dysfunctional stressed out practices.  You don't have to stress out just because you pick up something. Release into it instead of clutch it to you and let the weight do the work itself. Shoot.
Think tai chi vibes just with weights so you become the super strong tai chi dude.
Those indian clubs and associated exercises are actually a step ahead of western lifting.
Even if you want to get more froggy with it, go heavier, that should be because your form is great and adding weight is just going to let you feel more pumped.

Another way to approach this is by Chakra.
Release the front, to release the back. So work the third eye, including hidden counterpoint in the optic nerve.
Release the heart chakra and open up it's hidden back side, and let the love flow through the brachial cluster and breathing.
If the chakras get jammed they mess each other up, pull on each other.
Probably harder to focus on Dasam Duar with an optic nerve headache, and sore back that won't let you breath right.

Well to be more specific it's more that pain and dysfunction from the cranium and optic nerve, combined with neck tension, being finished off with tension in the mid-thoracic cause the shoulders to roll forward, and your brachial nexus is then impeded. Breathing all but stops and becomes shallow, increased dysfunction and carpal tunnel, and increased chance of further injuring the upper back. Super easy to increase tension, cause numbness, and injure muscles lifting and working out wrong.
The brachial cluster isn't in that part of the back exactly, the intercostal nerves are, but it's the impeding of that super cricitcal cluster than can mess up everything else.

    Veerji
U told me that in UK, sikhi is getting better and there is interest in exploring and reading Granths.
Plz contact like minded Sikhs and get in touch with Gurwinder Singh nangli so that detailed katha on Gobind gita is done.
Gurwinder Singh nangli has done detailed katha on Sarbloh Granth as well which was lesser known among Sikhs.

Bhai ji, we've got a lot of desis coming in now. They aren't remotely interested in these things. I'm worried we might return back to the bhangra paa-ing stereotype days.....
But yeah, some people are interested on a personal level.

    Good Turiya are doing something.
Most people I know wouldn't listen to katha, but they'd read a book.

Turiyacharity.com are also doing translations of old lesser known Granths. They hv done translation of hanuman natak and i hv heard they doing english translation of Gobind Gita as well.

We need a katha on Gobind gita as this text requires detailed vichar and contemplation.

Vs how many people seem to drop dead young and healthy taking it? Per 100,000.  If it's even one person it's a wash and we traded a healthy person for a compromised one.

    This something you tried ?
I can't do it. I cannot function unless I fill my stomach well before lunchtime, lol
I think these 'fast' fads might work for some but not all. Better to develop longer term habits like drinking water at first sign of hunger, and smaller portions.
Historically, it's been said that 'breakfast' is the most important meal of the day. I think there's something in that. Not to necessarily fill up completely, but to ensure your body has some fuel rather than 'run on empty'
