GurpreetKaur got a reaction from BhagatSingh in What Is Bhagauti?
@paapiman
I got this.
Just because he said that people below 25 should not do this and that, does not mean he lives in a cave and is not aware of what goes around in west. He said that because by the age of 25, either a person had enough fun or is stuck between job and paying loans he and she got no time for Lust. Also he is from Canada, U.K or "city of London" is not more modern or better than Canada.
Here is the "City of London".

It is the incomplete idol of Sri Jagnanath jee, which was made by Sri Vishwakarma jee. Listen to Gyani Ram Singh jee for further details brother. The Katha is on pg.4.
You will notice in the picture that there are no hands and feet. The idol is located at Jagannath temple in Puri, Orissa, India.
Bhul chuk maaf

GurpreetKaur reacted to dalsingh101 in Professor Sahib Singh On The Dasam Granth/jaap Sahib
Here is a humble attempt at translating a portion of Prof. Sahib Singh's preface of his Jaap Sahib steek. May Waheguru bless his children with knowledge of the faith and provide grace. I'd like to thank Laal Singh of the forum for looking over a draft and providing invaluable suggestions for improvements. Any constructive criticism that could help improve the translation is welcome:

GurpreetKaur reacted to tryingtoimprove in 30 Day Self-Improvement Blog
I guess the positive side is that 30 day original goal was successful, could only maintain upto 46 days though.
I am thinking of starting a 40 day blog about doing Japp to tackle the problem of this lust. I am not getting married anytime soon, so I am not worried if lust stops temporarily.
Only thing I am worried about is , that 40 day japp would end being a failure since I am advertising here, and might not go all the way. I will hear the sangats view and then decide.

Yes, I agree that escaping radiation is very hard.....but mostly we're using microwave because of easy-of-use. Moreover, any information is supposed to help us and not to instil fear into us. I always give the example of highway warning signs (e.g deer crossings signs), these signs are meant to warn us so that our drive is safe and not to generate the phobia/fear of deers. So, all knowledge is good; it's upto us how to take it.
Personally, we try to avoid microwave if possible especially whatever children are supposed to eat.

Between sorry for talking too much but is sharing experiences really
Bad ?
Its only bad when we share it with ego (hankaar) (share only if u conquered ego)
Pls allow us narrate our story
I wasn't in sikhi much
Didn't even use to read single baani whole day
Was totally full of doubts
Didn't even believe in God
Used to play video games all day LOL
My mother. Is completely innocent (bholi)
She got jugti of naam abhyaas from a saint
And after 30 days she had experiences she started sharing
Me first
She told me how she felt she was flying
Then she told me how she had darshan of pavirtar rooh (she told how Devi and devta came to ave darshan of person who is chanting naam
Then she told me how her voice stopped and she was fixed in simran
And then in end she told me how she could enter smaadhi but later broke it with mistake (coz of bad karma)
When she narrated me this my curiosity knew no bounds so I walked on Naam abyhaas path I imitated her jugti :p

I was abt to post topic abt auras and tell people abt it but then I stopped
Since people didn't look interested in our sakhi or posts o.o
But since u. Have posted I would like to tell our little mat we gathered it from different places
As far as I know and I'm sure u already know
Aura is kinda like energy or rays
Which humans and everything emitate
They got different colors
Depending on our mood and thoughts
(Thoughts effect environment)
Aura color depends on mood
Like I remember incident some days ago my dad Came i was happy that he came to meet me i was emotional :'/ but then I looked carefully and I could see faint black aura lol I knew dad is thinking negative and he didn't came to meet me
Later I found.out that dad came to borrow money for buying (drugs n stuff) -_-
So well the bigger the aura the more spiritual person he is :p
People connected with God somehow have gold aura
Ever wonder what is rays around Guru's sheesh in all pictures ??? They are aura
People who can see auras can't handle Gurus aura its so bright and big
There was this Sikh girl who could c auras
She told how Harminder sahib aura lights whole sky and everything appears day
She shared story how she can see auras
Different ppl had different different auras
But then she saw a beautiful color aura from Buddhist monks
But anther time she saw more beautiful aura from famous Ragi which was golden
Another lady from foreign was asked abt auras she since could see it
Later question arised what is biggest aura u ever seen in any man
She replied = it was from Sikh holy man who had 10 meters wide aura
Here is link
http://www.aurareadings.com/aura-facts--questions.html
Like a lamp which emits light
We also emit aura
If lamp is dirtied with dust and mud on it
It can't emit light outside mmuch
Same way if our soul is dirtied with lust anger greed ego moh our aura is faint
But as soon as we remove mud of vikaar with simran our aura increase
WARNING ALERT! (Lol) = its recommended to not waste time in concentration of seeing auras and to keep simran going on

After 4 minutes in microwave, it could no longer be called as healthy.....no matter what you put in microwave........
A simple experiment: Boil the water in microwave and let it stay there (in microwave) until it cools down, then pour this water to your plant and compare with plant grown with plain tap water.
or do you know a person in USA has been killed when her blood was warmed in microwave and later given in transfusion?
I would suggest everyone to read this link thoroughly, it's best article without any overburdened information and with the facts (a rare on internet): Read the first article, your body will thank you!

GurpreetKaur reacted to Ragmaala in Seeing Aura
Taking in consideration the anonymity of this forum , I think its beneficial for me to hear these real-life accounts from fellow Sikhs , however small might they be.
Its just like how someone was sharing their experience about going on a vegetarian diet.
Treat the experience as a neutral theme, do not apply spirituality or higher status to it. And I think we will all be fine. I encourage everyone to share their stuff.
I personally share my dreams, my failures, my bad feelings & negativity. Its unfortunate I havent had a blissful experience yet, but if Maharaj does kirpa I will share that too.

GurpreetKaur reacted to BhagatSingh in Seeing Aura
And some people shy away from exploring their spiritual experiences, thinking it's taking them away from God.
This is not true.
God gave you a gift, you should open it up and enjoy it. And if it's a skill like seeing auras or ghosts then hone that skill and learn to maximize it.
-
GurpreetKaur reacted to BhagatSingh in Seeing Aura
It's not that sharing makes you spiritually "dumber", it's that when you share the other person might start to develop an expectation of that same experience.
The key is not to expect what the other person experienced in your own journey, rather trust God and remember he has a unique experience that is only for you, unique to your journey.

GurpreetKaur reacted to HisServant in Seeing Aura
Recently something new has been happening. I've been seeing a light type radiance around people. It has been strongest during/after simran in sangat and is usually very noticeable around the person doing katha/leading simran. My question is whether this has to do with spirituality. Is this mentioned in bani? What does it mean and why do people have it?
