We have love for all people. We love individual muslims. We cannot be allied with pakistan or islam on fundamental levels. We're being reckless and not just with our own lives and reputations.

Why are rich Sikhs from east Punjab giving millions of dollars to the Pakistan Govt and Army while our own gareeb Sikh brethren are suffering in east Punjab?
The Pakistan Army use the funds they get from naive Sikhs generating money for the Pakistani's to facilitate even more drug trafficking to east Punjab to destroy our Sikh youth.
Yatra's are not in line with Gurmat. If people insist on making a tourist trip it should be within east Punjab to help the local economy not enrich Pakistani's who support the 1947 Pakistani Genocide of Sikhs which killed 25% of Sikhs there.

They mostly do this drama to earn money through tourism since their economy is in shambles. I wouldn't trust them in a 1000 years. the problem with Sikhs is they see someone acting nice and will forget all the bad things done to them by the same group over and over again which is why we are in this condition. Even after getting back-stabbed left and right we have not learnt our lesson.

Glad to see that some news outlets are taking the issue of assassinations of Sikhs more seriously. If only the british govt would have the same approach but while rishi is in charge that will never happen.

How generous of the Maharashtra government to "withhold it for broader consultation" !!! The fact that they must have been planning for months before doing it, and to even think about it in the first place shows that their intentions. I'm just glad that on the one side the hazoori Sikhs have kind of woken up to the deceitful nature of the indian states and their regional and central governments. Hopeful one day the delhi sikhs will shake off their slumber as well.

I get it brother. Christians, so-called Christians, have done a lot of things with the Bible to make people hate Jesus. I get it bro. But it has you in a state where you're not really making arguments, you're making unsubstantiated claims brother, ignoring all arguments, and applying emotion and confirmation bias only.
The text, the only text, that we can hold Christians to, is the Bible brother. Like The Vedas, it is determined in Gurbani to be not false, it is however not corrected to the extent The Vedas are.
And if we are being honest, in both texts there is nothing to say that the all-powerful God could not come here in a human body to accomplish something as part of their story in Khel.
We have multiple of our own accounts of the Angel of the Lord themself coming here to do things.
Now a Sikh could forget the Bible is real and never ever ever know about anything abrahamic and do just fine.
But what is not appropriate for a Sikh to do brother is in rejection of our own scripture and the clear scripture of the Bible, is to be Antichrist, and to make extremely unsubstantiated claims.
And I get it bro people are a little bit hurt feelings, and they may not be familiar with the text, so you might just not have known, but when presented with the facts brother you don't want to know. You want to continue on in the same ignorance and bias that you had, flagrantly turning your nose up at not only the Bible bro but Gurbani.

Jagtar Singh Johal: Brother of imprisoned Briton tells Lord Cameron 'his life is in your hands'
The brother of Jagtar Singh Johal has revealed to Sky News that he told Lord Cameron "his life is in your hands" as the foreign secretary gave assurances the government was doing "the right thing" by the British national.
    Monday 12 February 2024 15:18, UK

The brother of a British man who has been held in an Indian prison for more than six years has told Foreign Secretary Lord Cameron "his life is in your hands".
Jagtar Singh Johal from Dumbarton, Scotland, was in Punjab, northern India, for his wedding in 2017 when his family said he was arrested and bundled into an unmarked car.
He is said to have been tortured, including with electric shocks, and faces the death penalty as a result of his campaigning for Sikh rights.
Politics live: Cameron holds 'very important meeting' over detained Briton
Mr Johal's family have continually urged the British government to help secure his release and, after a meeting with Lord Cameron on Monday, Mr Johal's brother has said there is "hope" that the former prime minister can be the one to bring him back to the UK.
When asked what he said to Lord Cameron during the meeting, Gurpreet Singh Johal told Sky News: "I have reiterated to him that my brother's life's in your hands, and if he doesn't do anything then my brother could be in there a long time.
"Jagtar is also facing the death penalty, which will be on the foreign secretary, so I have put it on him so he understands the urgency."
Mr Johal added: "The family requires answers, six years on, six foreign secretaries, but there is hope on my side that an ex-prime minister who was in charge of this country can use his skills to bring my brother back home.
"The UK government has said it is looking for a resolution, this should be that my British-born-and-bred brother should be brought back to his family in the UK where he can continue his life."
      'No promises'
It comes as Lord Cameron vowed to review the government's involvement in Mr Johal's case to "make sure we are doing the right thing".
Speaking after the meeting with the family, he said: "I wanted to meet there with the family and hear from them what they think. And I want to really stress, as an incoming foreign secretary, you don't just accept what the government has said up to now, you really look at it, really ask the questions."

Making "absolutely no promises" Lord Cameron said he would look through all the paperwork again, urging the Indian government to "speed up this case".
"I am going to take into account what they have said and see whether there is a different approach we should be taking," Lord Cameron told reporters.

Lord Cameron made 'no promises' during the meeting with the Johal family
"I am going to re-examine everything and make sure we are doing the right thing.
Revealing more about his brother's imprisonment, Mr Johal said the last time the family had any contact was on 18 October, the date of the imprisoned blogger's wedding anniversary.
"We are supposed to have video calls with Jagtar but those are not being allowed by Indian authorities," he said.

"He is supposed to have at least a monthly phone call with the family - that's not been allowed either. Instead, there is always an excuse for them not happening."
