Visions doesn't always mean you see it with your eyes like a hallucination or that an image develops in your mind like in a trip.
Sometimes you just know it. Sometimes you have a small inkling of it appear as a thought, which you then develop.
This ties back to what I was saying to Paapiman in the Non-Dual Awareness thread which is that Divya Drishti is not just about seeing spirits, it can manifest in other ways. Images are not the only way God manifests. And it ties back to what I was saying on the Aura thread that you should leave to God what quality of Divya Drishti he gives you. Some people will see auras, others won't.
So it's possible she didn't see an image and still had a vision, and then interpreted that vision through her cultural filters, which depicts Jesus with a trimmed beard and as a white dude with chestnut hair.

I agree samurai, the sulleh numbers seem to be increasing in Canada. The sulleh problems used to piss me off too when I was in UK. The Canadians kind of shocked me at first because they seemed too oblivious to sulleh attitudes and their corrupt agendas. They seem to be a generation or two behind here and are basically at the stage where UK Sikhs were in late 70's and early 80's.. ..The majority of second generation muslims are just elementary school kids yet. I can very easily imagine how they will be in 10-15 years and the same uk sulleh scenarios start happening in places like Brampton and Surrey.
    @gunahgar
yes, Uk Sikhs are tougher in that sense because they have had to face some serious shit over the years. Problem in Canada is that the 'tough' factor is more related to gang warfare and crimes.

St Johns wort has a reputation for it's side effects and interactions with other chemicals. I reckon it's better to use 5HTP or tryptophan because you get the inceased serotonin levels AND tryptophan especially, can help with spiritual dhyan and concentration. I've taken both of these on and off in different stamina building regimes with diet, but they should also work if depressed due to serotonin levels being on the 'low' side.

Good stuff man!   Having dreams of flying at will are real good signs that you are rising above the rest that are around you. The ability to keep the awareness that you can do it in the dream state is also good. These occur during the real vivid dream state that I think is REM sleep. My own understanding is that at this stage we may well be on a different plane and you should probably take notice of some place or surroundings that seem to reappear but maybe with different people every time. I do believe there is a plane/realm where abyasees can meet together but I need to confirm the surroundings with someone else.
The best control that you can have is that at the time of the deeper REM state, to know that you are in a dream realm and also to be aware that you can pretty much do anything like fly or whiz through the skies at rapid speeds. You can help achieve this by telling yourself or your sub-conscious that you want to be fully aware when dreaming and to know that when you wake up you will leave the realm. REM sleep cycle can be about 45-80 minutes, but the actual dream time can seem like several hours with several different events. I think that these deepere vivid dreams are also the ones when you may be accidently woken up by something, but then you can easily drift back into the same place from where you left off.

Interesting video. He obviously researched and isolated the element consistencies that are affected by orgone or prana energy. In turn, these changes are what can cause atmospheric changes in order to cause rainfall....very smart stuff indeed!  I have no doubts about his research. Spiritual energies are a threat to higher powers and governments because they can't dominate over them.

Although I don't pay particular attention to reiki specifically, it's just another term used for utilizing the same universal energy for healing. The healing stuff, yes I do do quite a bit if that stuff on myself. It works, but sometimes is only short term because it can use huge amounts of self energy. It's not always easy because it uses a lot of concentration and focus  Sun and moon energies are essential, which is why yoga and body references are made. In all seriousness, all doctors have been shocked after viewing my CT-scans and records, and then learning that I don't use pain meds and am pretty much active.
As per gurmat, I don't feel there's any problem with self healing but when you do it on someone else that's when problems arise. Firstly, it uses a lot of your own energy and can leave you drained, and secondly, if you're making a few bucks out of it, then that is NOT gurmat. Guru Harkrishan ji sahib had an enormous amount of energy and was able to heal so many suffering from small pox, but even he had to reach a threshold and ended up absorbing the viral energies.
The problem with us manmukhs is that we let the 5 dhoots suck and steal so much of our own energies and we don't even realise it. This is why it is imperative that the 5 dhuts are slayed before we can open the dasam duar with our maximum spiritual energy. Kaam is the cleverest and most easily disguised of the dhuts because it is the major underlying potential that leads to krodh, lobh and moh. Now, I realise why gurbani always mentions the order as kaam(1st), krodh, lobh, moh and ahankar.
I would say that ''bad karma'' is probably the wrong description for us to use according to sikhi interpretations. However, the karma term is often used loosely by others quite easily.      As per gurbani, I don't think that karams can be given or sucked away from each other at our levels,  but negative energies can definitely be absorbed and these can in turn lead to negative consequences. Gurbani tells us that karams have to be played and we reap what is sown. Our seeds are our seeds. and we can't give them to someone else to sow for us. This is what I understand from gurbani.

I'm gonna try and watch this later because I have become very serious about energy transfers and manipulations in general. In fact, nowadays I know that my spiritual energies are affected by Wi-Fi or any other electromagnetic energies. I haven't carried a regular cell phone for a few years and I even switch off Wi-Fi router when I'm doing deep simran. I do suggest that those of you that struggle with meditation to experiment with these simple measures! ......
I have a fair idea of what the video may be about and will let you know later after I watch it on tv. ...good stuff Gurpreet, I like your ideas of thinking!

wow this just reminded me of a dream or astral travel that I might have had today or lucid dreaming, whatever you want to call it.
So somehow I become aware in my dream. I became aware that it was a dream, and I could fly if I wanted to in this dream. I have done this many times, flying in dreams, it can be quite fun. I don't know if while dreaming you are also in the astral plane at the same time. It was a beautiful dream. In front of me there were forests, jungles or trees, interspersed with plain green fields. There was also mist and some fog, and clouds which would make the dream a bit misty. The lighting was dim. It was not day time, probably either dawn or dusk, because it was a bit dark. Anyways, I realized its a dream, I was effortlessly able to lift myself up in air, and started flying. I was not flying that high, maybe just above the trees...I also knew this dream would not last long because often you cannot control the outcome, I just let myself travel through the mist, and it was just tress everywhere. Beautiful sight, something out of a Planet Earth documentary maybe. And then I have no idea when the dream ended.
But yeah, it is fun to fly when I become aware, but as time goes on the dream gets blurred, the details are not always perfect, its always a blur..just like a hint of things.
Anyways, I had forgotten about this dream, but just remembered when I came across this post.
ps. sometimes I am having a free-fall in dark spaces during dream but it does not last more than 1-2 seconds.
I dont know how to go beyond, it is beyond my control.

The problem is understanding what it is about......You see, I used to totally disregard it, but as I'm learning and finding my own self even more,, I now have a better understanding.      There is destiny which is written on our foreheads as gurbani tells us.. Gurbani also tells us that we have come witj past lekhas of karams that have kept us bound to lak charasi. In order to get out of the charasi cycle, we DO have the opportunity to make efforts and start over-writing our own new karams... Astrology can be accurate prediction ONLY at a given time for any person depending on seeds sown and gurmat followed.  ...

Also with reference to some of the earlier posts that I have just read about astral and OBE's.............

In my understanding, OBE's in astral are all about the power of your own mind and won't help you rise above the realms on the abyasee marg......Maybe some of you have ??...i'm not denying....but It's my understanding.
And if you have or you do feel that you are getting washed in the amrit of truth... then are you sure that you are travelling upstream to the source or Mool or are you getting washed downstream ?

    ਦੂਜੈ ਭਾਵੀ ਨਾਨਕਾ ਵਹਣਿ ਲੁੜ੍ਹ੍ਹੰਦੜੀ ਜਾਇ ॥੧੬॥
Ḏūjai bẖāvīʼn nānkā vahaṇ luṛĥaʼnḏaṛī ja-e
In the love of duality, O Nanak, the mortals are being washed downstream.

Guruji has given us the greatest and direct method that can take you to the highest realm of sachkhand....and that of course is the shabad and focusing your Single attention on Waheguru.

Some yogic schools and even some meditative enlightenment paths try to gear you up under the impression that you must go via astral realm with OBE to rise to the higher realms.......This may also work and gurbani doesn't condemn it either.....but Guruji said we don't need to complicate it because all we need is the ONE Jap and praise with the ONE tongue.
The EK- shabad from the EK-jap that is praising and doing sift salah of Ek waheguru will take you straight to the EK. Onkaar.

Also, from what I have now come to understand is that there are many levels of astral planes and realms. However, they are not nirgun because structural forms still exist although they may not appear purely physical as what we are used to... These are often mistaken for the places of after-life where all souls go.....but if you want to ascend via this method (as i mention above) then this is where you probably need the guides or masters that they talk about in sant mat, radhasoamis etc....
BUT I FIRMLY believe in the marg given by Guru Nanak ji which is to ascend DIRECTLY with the shabad without roaming around these structural realms/planes..... and that is with Pure EXPANSION of consciousness by connecting with shabad and following its 'Dhun'-vibration......

In my opinion....we are not going to learn much sikhi or progress by playing in astral realms. I think you need to ascend via the universe that exists inside your own body.

The lessons start coming in the further realms and you start learning more about your very own self which in turn leads you to find your own truer self and come to that God-Realisation.
Guruji says that there are so many worlds, realms and so many lessons to be learned,...........

    ਕੇਤੀਆ ਕਰਮ ਭੂਮੀ ਮੇਰ ਕੇਤੇ ਕੇਤੇ ਧੂ ਉਪਦੇਸ ॥
Keṯī▫ā karam bẖūmī mer keṯe keṯe ḏẖū upḏes.
So many worlds and lands for working out karma. So very many lessons to be learned!

This is one reason why I said somewhere before that the further stages get very personal and unified according to our own gunas, actions, paaps and karmic imprints.

I know this was directed at Chaz... but i couldn't help the reminder of another Kabirji's slok....

    ਕਬੀਰ ਜਿਸੁ ਮਰਨੇ ਤੇ ਜਗੁ ਡਰੈ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨਿ ਆਨੰਦੁ ॥
Kabīr jis marne ṯe jag darai mere man ānanḏ.
Kabeer, the world is afraid of death - that death fills my mind with bliss.

    ਮਰਨੇ ਹੀ ਤੇ ਪਾਈਐ ਪੂਰਨੁ ਪਰਮਾਨੰਦੁ ॥੨੨॥
Marne hī ṯe pā▫ī▫ai pūran parmānanḏ. ||22||
It is only by death that perfect, supreme bliss is obtained. ||22||

Kabirji is telling me that worldly death is seen differently by 2 sorts of people.............
    (1) the Ignorant see it as the end as they see a time-bound consciousness and have an EGO-Being life
    (2) The spiritually elevated see it as something to rejoice. They see it as a new beginning, that the life was just a middle phase. The spiritual being is united with ''Paramanand''-supreme bliss.
Kabir ji already nows how to die the Ego-being life because he dies repeatedly, every day, in anand, in meditation.

The problem is that most of us get scared with sleep paralysis.
It has happened to me a number of times where you can't move and even if you try to speak,, it is great effort to just get some mumbling sound out of yourself.

From what I have read about people that have an OBE immediately during/after sleep paralysis is to R-E-L-A-X. into it.
The sleep paralysis is just the 1st early stage of an OBE........at the same time nearly everyone hears the muffling, static, shuffling sounds when in that state..
If you ease yourself into it, then you can feel vibrations within yourself just before your consciousness shifts outwards.
.. The suffocating sensations are when we show fear and get pulled back in.
However, if the next time it happens you try and just ease yourself into it......then you can be on your way...

For me,,, I have felt the vibrations, but then I still have some sort of fear and this results in the forceful, suffocating sensation of coming back in.
Just this morning, I think something was happening. This time I was completely relaxed but when I paid attention to everything around me..... all the objects like cupboard, chair .....seemed very fluid and as if they were in a very slow motion. A little like when you go deep down in a swimming pool and start viewing around you .........Again, I wasn't too sure what was going on and probably felt some sort of fear that made it all stop happening !

I agree with Das above, that OBE and expansion of consciousness (as in simran) are different .... but one can still be aware of both physical, ethereal, astral realms at the same instance.
However, in the expansion of consciousness state, one has to be in a deep meditative state and as soon as you come out, the experience is over.

charan kamal is when you experience the blossoming of guru's charan. It is an experience that occurs when one first begins to actually samao in the anhad naad. The naad is the lowest end of anhad that reaches us first and is also termed the guru's feet. These feet we have to grab before guru accepts and lets us climb up to embrace him.
That's just the basic description that I can give but anyone who has experienced it will give their own understandings in detail. In the very special image above, there is great association with the experience of guru's charan and the guru himself.

yes it's harmless but doing trataka on the sun can also be done with your eyes closed or just a slight squint.
I enjoy nothing more on hot summer evenings than to sun-gaze for about 20 minutes.  It has a multitude of benefits including absorption of sun energy, cleansing and pineal stimulation.
As for GG mentioning the eye exercises and vision improvement as per bates method....of course it works!!..  ..I personally know a few people who have simply practiced vision exercises and got rid of their prescription glasses...I have had my own daughter do it!  ......The eyes work with muscles, and these muscles just like anywhere else in the body can be trained and maintained....Bates and some other scientists got fobbed off because they claimed glasses caused more damage.   With regards to that, I would agree because you ar just making an already weaker muscle even more lazy by using corrective lens which is why vision will always continue declining.
