    Brother Guest Singh,
The only hukum of God is purify yourself with the bhakti of Nam and return back into me.
For the rest of things we have a limited free will as long as also we do not incur in more karam.
Though it is also true, that unless one is blessed with deep true love for His lotus feet, thus wanting Him only at all times, people do have higher fantasies,  that only shows how weak and low one is, for leaving aside that one eternal and changeless highest Truth, we still have other desires... But brother that also as seen in the Bani, it is in no one's hands to want and love Him above all and everything, and at the same time by fulfilling our duties with our fellow beings.

My 2 cents is that, as once I heard in a katha of sant Maskeen Singh, is that among all relations, the one with the Guru is the most relevant.
Just as one can live some time without eating, lesser than that would be without water, but it would be impossible without air.
In that respect, Guru is as important as air for us, for having the luminous Guru, we escape from the painful cycle of 84, and become aware of our spiritual reality, then only we live and merge in the highest and eternal Truth of Satnam.

Hi this is my first post,
I've been watching videos of Bhai Sewa Singh Tarmala, Bhai Simranjeet Singh and Bhai Dharamjit Singh, they constantly point out this concept of being able to leave body, it does make sense to me, I wanted to know if anyone has been able to experience this? Not just like out of body experience but being able to go to where we all go at night, remembering all the instructions given on how to play the game.

Regarding my experience and spiritual level, I've started recently after some awakening experiences.
I am able to be awake while my body has fallen asleep i.e body is almost paralysed, mind is awake, I do naam simran but do not know how to leave body, similar to described in this video

Also am able to hear some shabads(similar to which has been described in some old posts) and possibly 1-2 times naad but not sure if that was it or just shabad only.

    Thanks

    A) dear sikh, listen carefully and keep it fixed in your mind at all times:
    ਜੋਸਾਸਿਗਿਰਾਸਿਧਿਆਏਮੇਰਾਹਰਿਹਰਿਸੋਗੁਰਸਿਖੁਗੁਰੂਮਨਿਭਾਵੈ॥

One who meditates on my Lord, Har, Har, with every breath and every morsel of food - that GurSikh becomes pleasing to the Guru's Mind.

*Note: here Guru Jee is telling us that if we want to please Him, we should remember Him at all times through His simran.
Yet sadly many arise questions by saying it is foolish in engaging in this highest devotion as regarded by Guru Jee.
What a pitiful scene, they who say such nonsense themselves are blind and lead others to the dark pitch of deep ignorance.

Yesterday night, after doing Kirtan Sohila and first paure (ardass) of chandi di vaar (pritham bahguti simar ke..), I was feeling a little scared, because I didn't want to see one in real life. Only during the day I want to see them lol. Then I started doing Brahm Kavach with the intention of protecting myself and attacking them straight up. I did it 3x times. The first time I started feeling scared, I had my eyes closed, but I wanted to keep them open. I still kept them close for the most part, and I was also getting the bir ras feeling at the same time. Your tip of imagining your astral body as a bright lion really helped. Then I recited this shabad; a couple of times.
I was feeling good then, like I won and  I powered through the fear. I then did 2 mins or so of waheguru simran, to thank him. At this point I was feeling no fear, even when I was trying to imagine them, no fear at all. And for a little bit I was feeling like you do, seeing god in everyone, and just feeling the love and no fear.

Mahima on the love and devotion to Nam simran is apaar in Gurbani, yet we take it lightly or push it  back as something secondary when it comes in terms of our devotion towards Him.

The experience of union with God, surpasses any description.
By then, with His grace one has already learnt lke to arise above the clouds, then it does not matter much, for no rain or storms can affect you.
In a similar way, by perfecting the process of our intentions of nearing Him, being in His presence,  and finally merging in Him, we become that much spiritual wise mature, that no dukh/sukh, no pain/pleasure, nothing affects us..... for wherever we look, we see our beloved Lord, and we are surrounded  by His grace at all times, just as baby in a mother´s arms.

    SSA Lucky Jee,
no worries for anything at all, you are always welcome to share your views just as anybody else.
You see, one can never ever force one´s views on anybody, for after all everbody has his/her own personal consciouss level, thus howsoever hard one may try, the other person will simply reject.
So no need for hard words, but as this an public forum, one should be careful with what one says, as many may get to beileve what they may see or read at a particular time which maybe  absolutely imperfect or incomplete.
That is why if I see something like that, I try to give my 2 cents, which maybe not acceptable to that OP in his/her thread, but for all those who may read or come across at any time.
I just give my opinion where I think fit  just as anybody else can do so and leave it, without any expectations, or something personal to convince anybody, for from my personal experience I can assure that nobody can ever make anybody understand something, if that person is not at that consciouss level at that time, maybe after some time ...maybe, who knows?

They are as different as North and South.
Nam is the only everlasting and changeless Truth, which can be described as a  supreme  consciouss creative power with infinite virtues, and among all of them  love and  mercy,  like cream on  milk, as per description by His Bhagat Jan, Gurmukhs and Guru Sahiban.
While riddhis and siddhis are just lifeless and consciousless energies without any virtues by themselves.
Take for example a knife, which can cut vegetables to be eaten, or can be used to harm someone.
So you see, while Nam/Shabad/Satnam is a consciouss life force of the highest order, riddhis and siddhis are inert in essence.

Yet, if allowed to give my 2 cents for real progress,  let us just do as Guru Jee says:
    SAAS SAAS SIMROH GOBIND.
    Why so?
Because with it, we keep negativity at distance, and at the same time, we become receptive to His kirpa, which is the force to keep us on the right tracks.
