haha  thank God not that crazy now. No more than 2-3 rotis/day .  I dont think I will ever go back to days of 6 rotis/ day even if I wanted to. Training can be better. People said my arms got skinnier but thats because I lost the fat there & starting to see some definition & more blue veins. My left wrist was hurting so just giving training a rest for this week.
Although there are days when it seems that you are not progressing or losing strength but in the long term you are always making progress if you keep at it. So just following this motto of being at it.

I've always said it, quality over quantity and taking amrit should be an expression of prem and giving your self mentally/physically/spiritually to your guru and should not be a matter of action from a guilty mind or even fearful mind.
One thing I've always tried to push with pardhaans is the importance of having qualified social workers in gurdwara. Domestic violence/ drugs and alcohol in our community is a big problem...and one i hold close to my heart is the grooming issue, like our girls do not know where to turn, i could go on..but ill put a vid up from basics of sikhi (when jagraj breaks down a little it does hit home) which pretty much sums up the state of gurdwareh, the people in it and why our girls cannot come to the gurdwara iin their need...Gurdwara as well as a dharmshala, where we learn bhram gyan, should also be like a fort where people feel safe..

ohh..so present young pradhaan is still part of the same crew..same old sh1t, different toilet..
Bruv, they make soo much money, and these people are all in it for the money...the few gems who have good intentions get kicked out sharpish.. seriously, these (most) pardhans are snakes man. the will do the best matha tekh you will ever see in your life but behind closed doors they are maha lunds man.. the fight that happened in the gurdwara was unfortunate as most of their physical battles/threats get dealt with outside..it happens all the time, hence my expression of them being gangsters in earlier post..

Yeh agree dsg..gets me going aswell...what is also frustrating is that their josh should be directed in other more important issues effecting our sikh community, but hey what can you do with such people who are more upset that they are gonna have to give back their mercedes to the dealer..
do you know, or anyone, what the new young president is like.what he is bringing to the table ....as for years youths are going on about how the old committee members are out of touch but at same time time found it hard to break in to that circle..understandably so..
Lets just hope he is one who has less interest on expanding gurdware bulldings for extra revenue (wedding/akand path) and put more emphasis on parchaar, gym, social service/support etc...and hopefully have a domino effect across uk.. wishful thinking more than anything else, but you never know..time for a change

Basics of Sikhi have done a 30 odd minute video, on the 10th Kings' Granth. It is a really good video, and although short, it provides a very good understanding of the Granth, and addresses some of the issues that have been discussed here on Sikhawareness i.e. authorship, status, and whether we can bow to it etc.

Keep doing your thing paapiman. The posts where you tell sangat where to listen from to get to that story (topic title) is beneficial for the likes of me who don't have time to listen to hours of katha nonetheless are interested in certain stories/topics.

I don't think you are supposed to take pre-supps every day, but on those days that you feel too cream-crackered to train.
I'm still just on crea at the moment - and boy does it make a difference! I take about 4 to 5 grams 20/30 odd minutes before training and my reps and weight have increased. Recovery is quicker too.
One thing though, it takes A LOT more to feel a burn.
Just for anyone interested, how creatine works:
The main molecule we use to provide energy to our body is ATP (Adenosine Tri-Phosphate), one of those three phosphate molecules (hence tri-phosphate) breaking off from the other two phosphate molecules is what provides the energy (which turns the ATP into ADP - adenosine di-phosphate).
When we take creatine-monohydrate, our body converts it to creatine-phosphate and stores it into our muscle (we can store much more creatine-phosphate in our muscle than ATP). So when we use up our ATP during training, the readily available phosphate from the creatine-phosphate quickly attaches itself to the ADP turning it back into ATP - ready to give us more energy for the workout, and reducing our recovery time.
    Fascinating stuff.

I agree that we should get to our max natural level before taking supps., and you're bang on point about people having to learn about their own unique biology and tailor their training to what suits them best based on this.

The thing with artist's is they never live the reality of which they draw..most paintings are just with strong emphasis on imagination and personal fantasy which they cannot personally manifest/live... so even early paintings,i take with a pinch of salt because it's just an expression..
rather then look at a picture/painting, personally its more advisable to talk to those who have kept to the tradition/rehat of the tenth master from day dot...

I don't think there was that much unity, in fact i think it was exaggerated, especially with the southall gurdwara protection unit going worldwide. Many, i mean many panjabis/sikhs were too afraid to go to their local gurdwara/streets and help out, now that is cool if your intention was to keep an eye on your house and family, but in most cases it was fear. The southall boys held it up, fair play, but what didnt hit the news was that there were alot of apneh houses broken into and robbed in ealing. (so lesson to be learnt here)
If you believe in sant/sipahi, then as well as your spiritual development you should really work on your physical development too, be the best you can in both.

that's a bold statement and sounds like coming from the one who knows everything....... your statement is like of scholar without practical knowledge: If the exhaust/silencer of a motorcycle is throwing lot of smoke, then definetely the problem is within the exhaust, right?..........No, the correct statement would be there might be an issue inside the working of engine due to which the smoke is coming as a symptom...............I think you got the idea where I'm going with this................If you study the energy deeply, then you would easily understand that a possesed OR person under the influence of negative entities does show the symptoms of mental problems but that does not mean that mind is the problem.....its just a symptom...............e.g if a Car is running erratically, then car is NOT the problem.......and problem is the driver who is driving it.
I'm here NOT to promote or sell the idea of ghosts etc....as lot of other people have already suggested that these kind of experiences DOES underline the importance of Spirituality and that's it.....nothing more, nothing less.
Moreover, visting grave is not the same for everyone. e.g A thief, a murderer resides in a jail; but the jailer, a doctor also visits jail....not because they are punished or something like that. They (doctor/jailer) have a different purpose. Same way, visting  a grave could mean the following.......its' all about the intention.
    * Your Soul wants to show you that one day you will end up here, so do something when you can. Or
    * Your bad karma is pulling you there; where a negative entity is just waiting for someone like you who could be the executer of their will (they may want you to do something and you will do it without knowing)
    * You are there to help some negative entitity (but rare as one needs to be very high in Spiritual state). Or
    * Just something where our mind is not able to understand...but at the end of the day, it is the play of karma where we do NOT realize that we're just doing as written in our karma.

Trotters soup ! yummyyyy..i love it too....Dally veera ..this is super good for the bones , chest and otherwise. Its glutenous ..i cook it with a pakistani recipe sometimes ..the paki punjabis love it so they are experts with it ..in Maharashtra we call it Paaye ka soup..paaye and guddi which is the knees are sauted in ginger garlic and then boiled ..some sauted flour can be added for thick consistency.

I don't think its a big deal, if you feel like going then do what you got to do.. Its more to do with you and what your gonna feel when you go. When my nani passed away i would go to her house and just sit there, i didn't even know why.. It made me think about death and the reality of it at the same time really understanding that no one really dies man..I could share more but feel not to, but i do feel its not really about the grave itself but the thoughts/feelings that will become pargat when you go. But you need to be in a certain environment for this to happen..I think 'guru' does this on purpose..

Yeh there's meat shop near seven kings station run by panjabis..
Its pretty simple to make..I make it myself..I make a big patila so used gas outside in garden plus it smells aswell..I start about 7am and normally that evening its made..but i make a lot at onetime im sure the less you make the quicker it is made..
All you do  fill pot with water and bit of salt  and bring to boil.. put krondeh in and leave it be, stirring now and again.tills its dissolved or when it becomes like soup,, not thin but not thick either..You may need to add water (judge this for yourself)..
You can have it straight or mix with  thorka...for me i just have it cos its good for me...not bothered about taste..dont have too much at once..maybe half a pint every other day

    bruva brace yourself.lol..
basically its goats feet and ankle which you boil. becomes a soup which you drink.this takes a good 12-16 hours of boiling...its very 'garm'..very good for joints..i know cos some desi told me as ive broken ankle/shoulder/hand aswell as having knee pains.. and he suggested this...it puts 'grease' in your joints...better in winter as its very garm but ive had it in summer too...in summer its like a pre-sup man..
