Yes there is a gurdwara in Kitchener area. Punjabi population has become heavy but Sikh population is still very slowly growing. We've tried Simran in the past but no one really came. It's mainly just Sunday morning diwan. There's almost no youth Sikhi though.

@GurpreetKaur  I dont believe its the correct translation. Even if it is correct version, dismiss it. We dont have to follow rehitnamas word by word, they are a guideline. Somethings are common sense.

Art & paintings are great in introducing children to Sikhi. As a kid, I had access to books which contained paintings of Guru Jis, 4 sahibzades & wars of Guru Saheb. Its a great way to bring Sikhi history & devotion to life.  Hope more people get inspired by Divine and create amazing art for the benefit of all.

I don't understand rehit so I am no one to say anything about it. All I know if something does not feel right to me I will walk away from it. We people are always judging each other so much, if I use my last name people tell me oh you believe in caste system and if I use kaur, they tell me excuse me you are not amritdhari lol. So I thought I am an outsider in sikhi and probably don't deserve to fit in, but you amritdhari people don't even get along with each other. :(. 
 

We all gonna see the moral through our lenses lol. For me I don't get into background cuz it can be anything maybe she married him for money or was forced. But in India arranged marriages have happening since ages and with time people adjust. What if after marriage I put on 200lb, that means my husband now have the right to cheat on me or find another better looking woman than me? Marriage is sacred. Once you are married you have to let go of your desires.

Well it makes those men look stupid too, it that makes a woman look like a deciever. Moral of the story acc to my monkey mind is, women can easily deceive a man with their looks and charm and men are stupid that they can't see what is right or wrong lol. That reminded me transcendental meditation. Anybody ever heard of TM or ever tried it. They charge so much for it. I was desperate at one point to go for it but read some weird stuff about it too lol.
