Lot of people, couples after some level of awakening reports decrease in sexual activity naturally as they are more connected with inner subject/seer/consciousness/atma/chaitna than outside object, but at the same time they also mention they live their life in harmony and in undivided way-everything is expression of life and consciousness (than personal ego I-claiming ownership) which means they are not divided within themselves with dilemma or doubts.

Yeah I'm not denying that bro. I even said the same thing in the asexuality thread. But to say it's a outright sin even in marriage, and that it's banned unless for procreation is kattarvaadi at it's finest, and not to mention has no basis.
This isn't Christian Victorian England. No need to be frigid and ashamed of sex.

This is verily a universal Truth.
But how do we get that bibek?  That Brahmgyan?
For as the Bani says: ekas bin sabh dandh hae.
This means apart from Him, no gyan is True gyan, thus ever possibly had.
So in order to get that real gyan, we have to go to the source of that true gyan and bliss, which is none other than He, Wahiguru Himself.
And, then how can we reach Him? Is it by pilgrimages, recitations, fastings, jap, tap, poojas, paath, or any other outer actions/karam/deeds?
Gurbani for that purpose gives us the solution beyond the reach of any  mind, it says:  jin Har japeeya, se Har hoeeya.
Forget any gyan sikh brothers/sisters, rather Guru Jee says, if we follow His instructions of that highest bhakti, we become Him.
What else is then left to be achieved? Nothing. Our braham has been broken into pieces, for we have become Brahmgyani, by merging our surtees in Him.
That is the beant wadeeayee of Gurbani.

I also think it has to do with making Gurbani an ever-living philosophy. As soon as you write everything down, they die and become static and people evolve around the text instead of it's supposed meaning according to the time you're in. Sikhi is supposed to be a living and vital religion which to a certain degree adapts to time

Having God in mind, means, to be focused on Him at all times as much as possible.
One may ask how can that be possible?  Well, we can easily have Him, through His chintan, His simran. By putting into action this jugtee, we stop the mind from wandering out constantly.
The thing is, we have to get filled more with Him, than the worldly maya. And this is only possible, by aiding, by putting within us the most precious wealth/dhan, and that is the one of His Nam simran. There is no other way to lessen maya or koor within us, except the one of His Nam, Wahiguru.
For only His power, can overpower, subdue and defeat man, maya and kal.
Our reality as spiritual beings/souls, is the nature of us being particles of  the Infinite Ocean of Shabad, and thus, to merge in Him, is our sole goal in human life.
Just as in Anand Sahib, we have heard and read many a times, Nam jiskay man vaseeya, vajeh Shabd ganere.  Which means, in the minds of those where Nam is established firmly, through His Simran, we start being/getting aware of our True nature as His souls, and as the more we dedicate ourselves in the devotion of Nam Simran as pointed out thoroughly SGGS,  we start getting purified from all our impurities, karmas, vasnas, man, moh, vikars, only then we gain that much purity by His Grace at all times, that only and only then we are fit to merge and become one with Him.
That is His Beant wadeeayee, of letting us being engaged in the devotion of His Lotus Feet.
So finally, how did all this happen?
Well it all started, by having him in our mind, through His Simran.
Har simran meh Prabh Aap Nirankara.

    Good stuff
If we think of Nirankar as a huge sargun God figure, lets say with head, body and feet.  For us to experience God, we have to rise up to meet him and be at his upper head level in order to encounter his max grandeur entirety.  We are so distanced and lower down that the first part we can grab to take this climb is his charan. His charan are the most extreme and farthermost part of SATch that can reach us lowly earthlings! These charan are the ultimate part of Nirankaar that we may experience first. They are "Naam" and the anhad shabad itself.
We want to grab hold of this naam as if a ship, and let it carry us through maya and the turbulent bhavsagar. Hence, "Nanak naam jahaaz hai"

Gurbani tells us that we can only start getting purified once we start drinking the amrit that washes the layers off filth on our Mind. For this we need to be holding the shabad(charan)........
    ਹਰਿ ਚਰਣੀ ਤੂੰ ਲਾਗਿ ਰਹੁ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦਿ ਸੋਝੀ ਹੋਈ ॥
Har Charanee Thoon Laag Rahu Gur Sabadh Sojhee Hoee ||
So grasp the Lord's lotus feet; through the Word of the Guru's Shabad, you shall come to understand

    Brilliant!
    Here are a few pointers:
    Remove your shoes
Cover your head, bandana will do (no hats, caps). If you're feeling brave try a turban lol!
    Wash your hands
Make sure your feet are not pointing towards the focal point i.e The Guru (or any religious imagery etc)
Although many non-Sikhs do not greet the Guru by bowing down, you should really. For example when you meet royalty across the world, there is protocol in how you greet them. This applies to Guru Sahib as well. Here's a picture of roughly what the correct procedure is:

Give a small (anonymous) monetary donation, how much ever you feel comfortable with. Even 1 Pence will do.
Accept communion (Karah Prasaad), which is universal in Sikhi. Ask for a little if you are unsure.
    Take in the atmosphere!
Try to have langar (free meal), again take as much as you need.
The tie is not necessary, in fact I would leave it off. I have been asked to remove it when having a prayer recited for me in the past. Although it's up to you, there's nothing barring you from wearing one per se.

Come back again!! The Guru's house will always be open to you!!

Stated another way, Hukam is the present moment.
In simple words, Hukam is the here and now.

    From Jap ji Sahib -
"How can one realize the truth that all is impermanent?
By staying with the current of the eternal present moment one can recognize things for what they truly are.
What is the eternal present moment?
The eternal present moment cannot be stated, you can only be with it. But know that it is in the present moment in which things take form, in which living beings come to life, in which greatness is obtained, in which one becomes high or low, in which pleasure and pain is received. Everything is happening inside this eternal moment, there is nothing outside of it."
