  1. @Ragmaala veer ji thanks very much i am glad that you have made this excellent thread on my headaches migraines which is a really good effort.

The medications that i have used so far is usually painkillers as i have used Codeine doses of 8,15,30mg along with paracetamol and anti sickness. The medication is called Migraleve as that is the brand name.

I also use Sumatriptan 50mg which i take after using painkillers when after a hour or 2 they don't help the pain.

I am currently taking Pizotifen 0.5mg twice a day by the gp doctor as i have been on that for a year as a beta blocker type medication for headaches. I tried amitriptyline 10mg but since it was a low dose it worked in the start but not much later on.

I have tried Ibuprofen,Naproxen but they weren't helpful as they just upset my stomach and acid level.

I have noticed that chocolate is a big trigger now so i am trying to avoid eating it along with chesse especially when its cooked on toast pizza etc that was not nice.

I had my ct scan for the head and luckly my scan was normal nothing wrong as i had balance problem at the time as well.

Sometimes i notice the tv laptop phone screen movie has triggered my migraines either the next day or during the week.

Also travelling on the bus sunlight gives me headaches as well along with migraines.

I have to wear ear plugs when going to gurdwara as the loud sound hurts my head and sinus area.

Over 3 and a half years since this problem started now. And i hate it a lot but the painkillers help it.

    Soulfinder Jee,

brother Ragmala has given a sound reply above as seen.

Nobody can satisfy other´s hunger. If you are hungry, you have to eat and masticate the food morsels by yourself, in order to satisfy your hunger.

In that respect, waheguru has kept within all of us in same measure, the wealth of Nam, it depends on each of us, as how much dhanvaan we want to become, by gathering that true wealth of Nam within us, to which there is no limitation, nor any taxation deducted by Kal upon that income.

    Sarb rog ka aukhad Nam.

Do His chintan, His bhakti, as much as possible, and all our sins shall get washed gradually, thus our suffering will start diminishing. Remeber, our pain, our failures, our success, or be it any other thing, is due to our own karmas; but anyhow, the all mercifull Waheguru has also given us the medicine of His holy Name to be taken as much as possible, in order to nullify all our karmas.

That is it brother, stay blessed.

    SSA.

You are 100% correct and spot on veer ji as this is the best answer as everything you have written is lovely and well explained in ways i couldn't think of which i am glad you wrote veer ji.

You know I think that sleazy predatory behaviour is such a strong impulse in certain animals, that they need to exercise it. Given that people are on lockdown, and given the physical limitations this now imposes, you'll likely to be getting more of these scumbags trolling forums/instagram/facebook/twitter etc. etc.  So be on your guard, and females especially, don't go talking unguarded with male strangers, allow the PMing!  - such predators can also come from any community (including ours sadly), excusing it away as some masculine 'womanising' impulse. So be streetwise and not dumb and don't conform to negative stereotypes.

    @Sarbatam

You know, admin on Sikh forums have to be a bit sharp too, and make sure their guard against people pretending to be Sikhs is fully on. This is your responsibility too folks. I know these types can go to serious lengths to infiltrate and portray themselves in ways to make the less sharp amongst us put their guard down. Remember, their perception is that we are a dumb gullible quom as it is.   It might be a good idea to be hawkish to a healthy extent. Robustly challenge ish that doesn't sit right, and derail any potential attempts to infiltrate and manipulate the more gullible amongst us.

    These people are scum

Its been 2 years since this post. I am glad i wrote it otherwise I would have forgotten. It was a good reference. Now I am thinking of the events that followed after this repetition.

Some major life events , some minor obstacles.

A month after 21,000 reps of Guru Gayatri Mantra,  Guru ji got completion of Sava Lakh moolmantra from me.  And unexpectedly, within a month I was engaged.  It was never my intention to get married or look for rishta but somehow that happened. The other wishes I had in my mind , more important ones the career I wanted, never came to fruit. I am in no way bragging about anything, just a normal average person with usual vishe vikar who was able to complete the reps of these mantras.

I am writing this , so if in future, 5-10 years from now, I can come back and see where I stood in 2018.  If not for this post, I would not have remembered anything.

Also, I find there is lack of stories or anecdotes or articles about Sikh mysticism/ spirituality , mantra meditation or practice etc. I wish more people would share their experiences.  You can find tons of stories in Hindu traditions regarding purushcharanas and extended japa of mantras . This element is somehow lacking in online media. We have the greatest technology on planet...and only few know how to utilize it properly.

recently, i have started the japa of Guru Gayatri Mantra with Gurus grace, so lets see what happens.  By reading experiences of other meditators, I have understood that sometimes a single 1,25,000 repetition is not enough in itself due to your previous karmic burden. One should go for 24, 00, 000 lakh repetitions which will complete 1 purushcharana. And sometime several such prushcaranas are needed.....

Another reason for renewed interest in Guru Gayatri Mantra was reading about Sant Attar Singh ji Mastuana sahib wale who did extended japa of this mantra, Baba Nand Singh ji who used this mantra as a sampat in Guru Granth Sahib jis path.

Veer ji you are the most lucky person ever do sava lakh jaap. I truly saluate to you.

  5. @khalsapanth bhen ji how old are you ?

15 years is a hell of a long time to be friends with someone than falling in love with him now this rejection.

Have you spoken to your parents about this ? Or the other side ?

Its not nice bhen ji as its terrible what you must be going through right now. Have thought about moving on from this mess or you wish to resolve it ?

Since you are deleted and blocked from him have you thought about writting a letter to his direct home address or explaining this to your parents ?

Since you have mentioned not eating or sleeping sounds like you are getting early signs of depression (no offence) as 15 years is a big time mind screw up.

Find it weird they are attacking Sant Singh Maskeen ji as he has been dead for 15 years now.

I don't understand the explanation they give on the Gurbani line Sarb Rog Ka Aukhad Nam (SGGS274). Doesn't make sense. How does love, compassion, service to mankind help remove the 5 thieves?

These guys are scum veer ji especially as they are attacking every good ragi, sant, katha vachaks that spoke the truth.

The worst at the moment is the New Zealand radio group.

Thanks for the tag @Soulfinder I remember reading these a long time ago. Good stuff, esp for those who don’t believe in ghosts, or spirits.

Happy to tag you veer ji as there is not many people interested in gurmat like fellow users on this site compared to the people i know in real life lol.

I am glad that you read it veer ji long time ago and hopefully seeing it on here you might want to read it again soon as its a khazana of knowledge this book is.

If you read 32 daily, you will win every battle you will face (physically or mentally). 108 times is like Chardikala.

This is as far as I know. Just make sure you have sharda. Even 1paath will do if you have sharda.

Veer ji 32 jaaps is the minimum. Doing anything plus 32 whether its 108 or a doing 5 malas is like adding sugar to the sweetness avilable.

Having faith and sharda is the key point in doing simran paath jaap.

Thank you so much brother Soulfinder, the book in itself has a lots of spiritual wisdom, spiritual wealth...if Gurmat is followed implicitly as per Gurbani.

Following is just a small piece from it as a showpiece, I strongly recomend to download and go through it to all those who want to achieve spiritual realization :
