Water shaken in a vessel can be caused to move in such a way that the inner surfaces thus created all slide past each other in the moving liquid. If water is shaken in this way, all the many forms of movement arise in it which we have been describing singly for the sake of ?larity. The same is true of the natural movement of water, in which also a great variety of movements combine. Not only the shaking of a container but also other kinds of movement can open up the water as a sense organ.

From the second reference it is quite clear why it is recommended to have the water (within the round earthen pot) near the Guru Granth Sahib Ji. The reason is: When the water is in constant motion (vortexes are created no matter how slow the motion is) and from within the pores of clay pot Air (another natural force) interacts with water and thus water acting as the Sense Organ and retaining/locking the environment in itself.
So, prefered and correct way to place water near Sri Guru Granth Sahib is: Put the water in Round Earthen pot and do NOT try to put support to pot. The earthen pot will give natural motion and thus create the water to sense organ of the universe and the Bani uttered will be stored in the water and thus could be tagged as Amrit.

My mother had some stomach issues, and given the history of colon cancer in Brother , she was very scared. A mahapurush told her to keep a pitcher or jug of water near Guru Granth Sahib and change it everyday. It solved two purposes. Firstly, it is seva because you are serving water , and secondly it becomes amrit. And she drink amrit everyday. He faith made sure she did not have to go through any invasive procedures like colonoscopy, and she is dong fine with her digestive system. It worked for her.
So yes water becomes Amrit when placed near Guru Sahib or Gurbani!
Next people will start criticizing the concept of sarowars and stories of Dukh Bhanjani sahib. Beware guys, its a slippery slope.

I believe placing water near The Guru Granth Sahib Ji is good and right. At the same time, it is NOT the replacement of having you hear the Bani. There are lot of today's so-called scholars as well as owners-of-religions who say that placing water or having a Desi-ghee jyot is manmat (not the way of Sikhi) but sadly they are wrong. They neither understood the Bani nor the working/principles/rules of this Universe.
So, for the record, it is beneficial to place water (in round earthen pot) near Guru Granth Sahib Ji or any other place where the glories of Waheguru/God are sung/discussed. In-fact, it is good to place a glass of water near you when you're reading Gurbani or Meditating on the name of Waheguru and then consume that water afterwards or one can also sprinkle that water into their home.

Daas had received information from a credible source that some missionaries were also trying to prevent the katha of Sri Dasam Granth Sahib from coming out. This was in 2016, when Gyani Harbhajan Singh jee Dhudikey was in the process of recording the entire katha.

I was talking to giani thakur singh Jee about this and that the people who made the video were people who didn't like what he said about missionaries  so they created this video to defame and try and make him stop his parchaar. There is no solid evidence and have talked to him myself also another thing to note is that giani thakur singh Jee has done Sangat with many saints and I don't think he would ever do something like this. The reason they made the video was to try and make giani Jee stop his parchaar. But giani Jee won't let that happen giani Jee said let them do what they want they will get what they deserve.

So, why are you trusting the lady so much? Are you sure that she is not lying? Do you personally know her? Can you vouch for her integrity? Do you know about her character?

On a side note, Kaam is definitely very powerful, but IMHO, the most powerful vikar is Ego/Pride.

I have fought with depression and anxiety listening to his bachans. See, my take is do not give space to a person so much that he would take advantage of the situation. In that lady's case why did her husband and she not take the stand that she will not go alone. When the lady was called to his room alone , in the first place there was no need to go . The moment she heard what he said , she must have been in a shock but instead of confronting after a long time wherein facts get distorted action should have taken then and there. 
Power corrupts, nobody is above. Even the puraatan Rishis have lost control if you have come across the stories. Kamm is more powerful than anything else. A man can deny money but denying a woman is difficult. 
So, take whats useful to you and leave the rest. If you have the power to take action yourself then its a different thing.

Wearing of red and green clothes is prohibited for Sikhs. Most likely, one of the old Rehatname has this injunction present in it.

had my doubts about him when i heard his katha on june 1984 and sant jarnail singh he seems to have made his fame off his name.

Maya has its play .. ,,to be beyond it is just not possible for all..if we read about Rishis like Vishwamitra they too were enticed ..so at times we need to let go and concentrate on the gyaan...and tis will stop if we stope hero-fiing people and making them mahapurush ..touch their feet ...and do sewa as if they were Akaal themselves..

Is there any proof that some Singhs asked gyani ji? Anybody could say that I met gyani ji and he said this or that. There should be hard evidence such as video or audio with gyani ji.

Just watched the video again and in no place did he say "yes I said kiss me". He first asked what happened between us.. Then she said you tried to kiss me and then they cut the audio so we never heard his response. He said that it's all in her mind etc. In no way did he incriminate himself. This is utter crap. In the video she even says she already had her own problems etc and gyani ji calls her paranoid that it's all in her mind.
I am 99 percent sure he never said anything like that and if he did he probably joked with her by saying kiss me. Why did she even hug him?? If she grew up in India an Indian woman would not hug another man no matter if he is a respectable person or a fatherly figure. Its a matter of izat. So after all this proof I think most likely this is a false allegation.

Somebody should contact gyani ji about this and hear his side of the story if infact that is his voice. He said he was at a program and he couldn't talk etc and he would call in a couple of days. Where is the couple of days video??? Listen to the audio without the video and listen to what he says.

I met gyani ji this April in India and he is real chardikala.

I highly doubt that this is authentic. There are many people who try framing gyanis, kathavachaks, sants etc. I remember. Couple of yet ago people tried framing Gyani Balbir Singh damdami taksal wale. People also tried framing dhadrianwale, maan Singh pehowa etc. I remember some missionaries were trying to frame some taksalis and visa versa.

it was bothering me alot, but then i went a started reading about older gusikhs auto biographies and learn from them and older kathas of taksali singhs like sant gurbachan singh ji , kartar singh ji etc
i always held highest regard for him .

It was only yesterday I was listening to Sant Baba Ranjit Singh ji on TV who was explaining that role models at the fore front of Sikhi have a big responsibility on their heads. One slip up and things can come tumbling down so fast and you will take so many others down with you.
