It is not simply offence, but a testament to the elitist, fascist and racist ideologies that are prevalent among the ruling government.

Your other comments are disregarded already since they either baseless or convoluted.

Let us focus on these two for now:
Simply? OK. Please explain - Student of?

You aka "Hindu" are living on a name given by Arabs, persians & other foreigners.? What do You call yourself? Or should we say that these "other" foreigners left a mark of slavery which you are still feel "proud" of? A set of people being identified based on geographical boundaries. When did this become a "religion"? Possibly this was "gifted" by the Arabs, persians & other foreigners?

Guru is more concerned about sikh intentions than just going to external places. Remember story from soraj parkash of sikhs going to mela: This is ithasik sakhi- In Sri guru gobind singh ji darbar there were two group of sikhs wanted to go to mela but one can go..one had to do seva of guru maharaj ..sri guru gobind singh ji sent one group of people to test and others were not too happy. So after themela group came back..both groups were called in guru maharaj darbar..the group that went to mela were addressed- o sikhs you guys are great, during your time spent in mela your mind was attached to my lotus feet, you were thinking about me , you guys were bairaagi you guys were gurmukh maya vich udasi now guru maharaj addressed to the group which was in hazaar nazaar in sri guru gobind singh ji hazoori doing seva, guru maharaj said even though you were physically present in guru maharaj darbar try to do seva physically, your mind was wandering in mela, have all sort of thoughts things in mela...in this way guru maharaj gave updesh to both groups.

How long does it take you to come up with stories like "the Sahibzade lived in Aurangzeb ' s darbar"?
Is there ANYONE else who agrees with this craziness?

Sikh Texts on Distinctiveness of Sikhism Bhai Mani Singh writes in Gian Ratanavali:
Hajees asked Baba Nanak, "O Saint, are you a Hindu or Moslem?" Then Baba Nanak replied, "I am witness for both."
    Gur Partap Sooraj Parkash:
First there were Hindus and Muslims, take note, there are three now. (Gur Partap Surya)
On his way towards Deccan, Guru Gobind Singh reached Pushkar .The discussion that took place there is recorded this way in Surya Prakash.
Brahmins, Merchants and others came with Pandit Chaitin. Having made salutation they sat down in the assembly and asked, “What is their Caste? How we recognize them. Your companions wear unshorn hair, what we can say is their Caste? There are many new garbs, but none of them is Hindu or Moslem.” Having heard that Guru replied, “Khalsa is the third Panth in the world. It is distinct from Hindus and Moslems. They are servants of the Eternal, Immortal.” When Guru Gobind Singh met the Emperor Bahadur Shah, this discussion transpired.
Bahadur Shah said, “There are two religions, Hindus and Moslems, What appeals to you? On what you have faith, Hinduism or Islam?”
To that Guru Gobind Singh replied, "Hindu, Moslems whatever way they follow we wish them both well. The Moslems preach fasting; prayer call and five prayers are supreme for them. Hindus perform Sandhya, adoration and rites of stone Gods, and such others are acceptable to Hindus. We consider both the same way abandoning all others; we have established the Khalsa as the third (religion). Without distinction we abandon all else and seek the shelter of the Eternal, the Purusha." (Gur Pratap Surya)
    Rehatnamas:
Khalsa should stay distinct from Hindus and Moslems. (Rehatnama Bhai Chaupa Singh-l0)
Khalsa should remove the domination (influence) of Hindus and Moslems. (Rehatnama Bhai Daya Singh-11)
    Bhagat Ratnavli:
Not only the baptized Sikhs are separate from Hindus and others, but also stories of Sahajdhari Sikhs tell us that they abandoned other rites and customs and adopted Gurmat. For this see the explanation of the 11th Var of Bhai Gurdas. (Bhagat Ratanavali by Bhai Mani Singh)
Sikhs addressed their supplication, "O True King, the Pundits in Kashmir do not allow the Sikhs to read Bani (Word) of the Guru. They say that Sanskrit is the language of the Gods and the vernacular is the language of mortals. You have abandoned the daily rites and so we are not going to have daily relations with you." Then the Guru asked Sodhi Madho to go to Kashmir and preach Sikhism there.
    Gur Bilas and Panth Parkash:
To the two religions was added the Third. Taking the support of Almighty, Guru Gobind Singh created the Khalsa Panth, above the Hindus and Moslems. "Forgetting all ways adopt the Khalsa Panth,” said the Tenth Guru, the Light Incarnate. (Gur Bilas)
Again distinct from the Hindus and Moslems, He said, "Establish I this Panth, powerful indeed." (Panth Parkash)
Conversation between Nadir Shah and Governor of Lahore
It (Khalsa Panth) is distinct from Hindus and Moslems. Distinct and marvelous is their sect. They perform marriage ceremony neither like Hindus nor like Moslems.
Their marriage is Anand ceremony. When a Singh (man) or Singhni (woman) dies, they prepare sacred food and distribute it. They do not perform the Hindu rites and they do not throw the bones (of the dead) in the Ganges. On the tenth day they complete the reading of the Granth and distribute the offerings to the poor. They do not wear the sacred thread, nor put the mark on their forehead. They never worship idols. They worship the One Almighty and do not make obeisance to anyone else. Vedas, Puranas and other (Semitic) books, they do not accept the authority of any. Whatever Guru Nanak said, they keep faith on that. From the same vessel they administer Amrit (baptismal water) to everyone. They all eat together and live like true brothers. They leave behind all caste, Varna, family names, Karma and Dharma of the ancestors. On the contrary, if any Sikh comes to our religion (Islam), on getting the opportunity he goes back and baptizing him they absorb him in their religion.
Tat Khalsa is the representation of the Guru “(they say) it is beyond the coming and going through the life cycles. Hindus are blind, Muslims are one eyed, but really sages are the Sikhs of the Guru” distinct from Hindus and Moslems.
All the customs are different, among them. They do not acknowledge the ghosts at all. They do not recognize graves and cemeteries. They do not go to the Ganges for pilgrimage. They do not consider impure puerperium (state after child birth).
They do not wear the Janeau and do not put the sacred mark. They do not abide by the rites of the Hindus like keeping a Bodi (tuft of hair), Dhoti and Rosary of Tulsi, performing Hom, or Shradh.
They consider their own religion to be better and if somebody calls them Hindu they get angry. They have abandoned all the customs of the Hindus. They live like real brothers, and respect each other. They are greatly united.
A Sikh always sacrifices himself for other Sikhs gladly in time of need.
    Another Historic Account:
Bhai Dhesi and Bhai Jodha sought protection of Guru Arjan. They addressed their appeal thus, "O True King, the Pundits do not let us sit in Pangat. They complain, in spite of being Brahmins we have become disciples (Sikhs) of a Kshatriya. We have abandoned the language of the Gods in the Vedas and sing the songs of the Guru in Vernacular, having abandoned Janam Ashtmi, Shivratri, Ekadsi, we feed Sikhs. We have abandoned Gyatri, Tarpan, Sandhya, Pind, Patal, rites of birth and death and perform the Sikh prayer and distribute Karah Prasad after Ardas, as the rites of the dead. O Protector of the humble we have come to your shelter. You have saved us. The egoist Brahman has gone away from us. We have received gnosis and name of the Lord."

Gurbani Concerning Hinduism “Many Shashtras and many Simirtis have I seen and searched them all. Nanak, they equal not Lord God's invaluable Name.” (Ang 265)
“You worship gods and goddesses, but you do not know the Supreme Lord God. Says Kabeer, you have not remembered the Lord who has no ancestors; you are clinging to your corrupt ways.” (Ang 332)
“The Pandits, the religious scholars, the teachers and astrologers, and those who endlessly read the Puraanas, do not know what is within; God is hidden deep within them. || 4 ||” (Ang 419)
“The Hindus have forgotten the Primal Lord; they are going the wrong way. As Naarad instructed them, they are worshipping idols. They are blind and mute, the blindest of the blind. The ignorant fools pick up stones and worship them. But when those stones themselves sink, who will carry you across? ||2||” Ang 556
“Why worship gods and goddesses, O Siblings of Destiny? What can we ask of them? What can they give us? The stone gods are washed with water, O Siblings of Destiny, but they just sink in the water.” (Ang 637)
"The Hindu is sightless; the Muslim has only one eye. The spiritual teacher is wiser than both of them." (Ang 875)
"I do not make pilgrimages to Mecca, nor do I worship at Hindu sacred shrines. I serve the One Lord, and not any other." (Ang 1136)
"I do not perform Hindu worship services, nor do I offer the Muslim prayers. I do not perform Hindu worship services, nor do I offer the Muslim prayers." (Ang 1136)
    "I am not a Hindu, nor am I a Muslim." (Ang 1136)
"I have abandoned both the Pandits, the Hindu religious scholars, and the Mullahs, the Muslim priests. ||1||Pause|| I weave and weave, and wear what I weave. Where egotism does not exist, there I sing God's Praises. ||2|| Whatever the Pandits and Mullahs have written, I reject; I do not accept any of it. ||3||" (Ang 1158)
"They who say the stone is a god; in vain is their service. He who falls at the feet of the stone; vain goes his labor. My Lord ever speaks. The Lord gives gifts to all the living beings. The Lord is within, but the blind one knows not. Deluded by doubt, he is caught in a noose. The stone speaks not, nor gives anything. In vain are the ceremonies of the idolater, and fruitless his service." (Ang 1160)
"The blind ignorant ones stray in doubt and so deluded, deluded they pluck flowers for worship. They worship the lifeless stones and adore tombs. Their service all goes in vain." (Ang 1264)
If the Lord Allah lives only in the mosque, then to whom does the rest of the world belong? According to the Hindus, the Lord's Name abides in the idol, but there is no truth in either of these claims. ||1|| (Ang 1349)
"I do not accept Ganesha as important. I do not meditate on Krishna, neither on Vishnu. I do not hear them and do not recognize them. My love is with the Lotus feet of God. He is my protector, the Supreme Lord. I am dust of his Lotus feet." (Guru Gobind Singh)
"Mahadev called himself eternal; Vishnu called himself Supreme, Brahma called himself lord; none of them realized the Transcendent Lord. All those sages created by Hari, They propagated their own Simritis, the way by which one can enshrine the Lotus feet of Hari in mind, they did not adopt that way of meditation. Brahma produced the four Vedas but those who love the Lotus-feet of Hari rest outside the attachment of the Vedas. Prophet Mohammad was created by the Lord. He was made sovereign of Arabia. He also created a new Dharma and the circumcised (Muslims) became supreme. All were forced to meditate on his name (Mohammad Rasul). Nobody remembered the Name of the True Lord. Then I (Hari) adopted you as my Son so that you may start the Khalsa Panth. Everywhere you spread the Dharma and instruct the public not to practice chicanery. What the Hari says I (Gobind Singh) utter that, and do not subject myself to anybody’s influence. We do not worship stones, neither adopt various garbs. We do not keep matted hair nor wear ear rings. We do not subject ourselves to anyone’s influence. We perform whatever God ordains. I have come for this in the world. The Lord sent (me) to uphold Dharma. All the Avtars (Prophets) that have been before proclaimed themselves only." (Bachittar Natak, Guru Gobind Singh Ji)
"Some say the Muslim rosary, others meditate by Hindu Mala. Some read Puranas, others read Quran. Both waste themselves in the love of arguments. Lord is distinct from both." (Bachittar Natak, Guru Gobind Singh Ji)
"Ever since I have grasped Your feet, I have not thought of anybody else.
I do not accept the doctrines enunciated by various faiths, believing in Ram, Rahim, Puranas and Qoran.
The Simritis, Shastras and Vedas mention different concepts but I do not subscribe to any of them.
O God, the Sword-bearer (of justice)! With Your Grace, all that has been uttered by me has been done under Your command.
    Dohra!
I have shunned every door and have entered Your door
Please hold my arm and keep my honour, Gobind is ever Your slave." (Raam Avtar, Guru Gobind Singh)
Guru Gobind SIngh Ji on Khalsa:
Day and night they meditate on the Light manifest. Accept the One, and they do not contemplate anyone else. In complete love they keep the form. They never keep faith in fasts, graves, Mausoleums, pilgrimages, ritual charity, false compassion, austerity, false constraints. Except the one, the Lord, they do not recognize anyone. When the Light illuminates the Mind, only then Khalsa is known, distinct and pure. (33 Swaiyas)

~~Deep Gnosis behind Mahavak in Gurbani~   Source: Taken from commentary of japji sahib teeka by sant gyani gurbachan singh bhindranwale     We all heard about term 'mahavaak' during katha discourses of gurbani in sikh tradition many times. But ever wondered deep gnosis meaning behind the term mahavaak? This small write up is invitation for sikhs (spiritual seekers/learner) to explore deep meanings of mahavak in gurbani so gnosis of mahavak in gurbani be understood and contemplated upon and applied in sikh spiritual quest.   In traditional gurmat, mahavaak in gurbani in form of verse, term, mantra or couplet within gurbani means - 'direct knowledge about unity between soul and supreme soul-vahiguru'.   Satguru has given apar kirpa(grace) to whole humanity by providing such direct knowledge about unity between soul and supreme soul which meant to be contemplated by seeker who wishes to know truth or their real self..   Sant gyani gurbachan singh khalsa bhindranwale writes in japji sahib teek (pdf page-510) to reiterate importance of gurbani revelation and mahavaks-direct knowledge of unity of soul and supreme soul-vahiguru.   Whilst vedas have four main mahavak (direct knowledge of unity between soul and supreme soul). Revelation of gurbani/Gurbani provides countless mahavaks. Sant ji provides examples from gurbani.   1. Satguru nanak dev ji gave updesh to advance seeker/learner(sikh). Here satguru gives direct knowledge of unity between soul and supreme soul in this mahavak- Tu sada salamat nirankar. Satguru repeats this mahavak four times in Panch parvan, Asankh jaap, Asankh Morakh, Asankh Nav couplets in japji sahib.   Commentary of tu sada salamat nirankar(japji sahib teek pdf page- 483):   Question was asked by spiritual seeker (sikh) to satguru nanak dev ji what is my saroop? or my identity? Satguru nanak dev ji responds:   Tu (Individual real self-soul) Sada Salamat (Supreme soul-Vahiguroo)   Nirankar: Both are nirankar.   2. Nirgun sargun apaie Soi (Ang- 129)   3. Nirgun Aaap Sargun Bhi Ohi (Ang- 297)   Sant ji further explains bachans which has sargun and nirgun knowledge of vahiguroo or unity shabads, those are all mahavaks and should be perceived it as such by advance seeker. Advance seeker and seeker who posses such estoeric attributes- requires only small indication (dristan-example).   -- Unity of individual soul and supreme soul also written in rest of gurbani. Āṯmā parāṯamā eko karai. His soul and the Supreme Soul become one. Anṯar kī ḏubiḏẖā anṯar marai. ||1|| The duality of the inner mind is overcome. Āṯme no āṯme ḏī parṯīṯ ho▫e ṯā gẖar hī parcẖā pā▫e. If the individual soul has faith in the Supreme Soul, then it shall obtain realization within its own home.     Also bachan by sri guru gobind singh ji in sri dasam granth sahib- gyan parbodh:   ਚਰਿਓ ਆਤਮਾ ਪਰਾਤਮਾ ਸੰਗ ॥ ਉਤਭੁਜ ਸਰੂਪ ਅਬਿਗਤ ਅਭੰਗ ॥ उचरिओ आतमा परातमा संग ॥ उतभुज सरूप अबिगत अभंग ॥ The soul said to the Higher Soul; the Germinating Entity, Unmanifested and Invincible; What is this Soul Entity? Which hath indelible glory and which is of queer substance."2.127.   ਪਰਾਤਮਾ ਬਾਚ ॥ परातमा बाच ॥ The Higher Soul said:   ਯਹਿ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਆਹਿ ਆਤਮਾ ਰਾਮ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਅਮਿਤ ਤੇਜਿ ਅਬਿਗਤ ਅਕਾਮ ॥ यहि ब्रहम आहि आतमा राम ॥ जिह अमित तेजि अबिगत अकाम ॥ This Soul is itself Brahman;" Who is of Everlasting Glory and is Unmanisfested and Desireless. Who is indiscriminate, actionless and deathless; Who hath no enemy and friend and is Merciful towards all.3.1228.   ----   Above discourse is dedicated to sant gyani gurbachan singh bhindranwale on their barsi, sant ji japji sahib teeka and above gurbani katha in japji sahib steek is gift to sikh world on their barsi. This is meant to be understood and contemplated on and applied by sikhs from all walks of life.

For many years-abhramic black and white interpertations of Sikh terms found in Gurbani were put fwd by sikhs who were more attuned with conceptual sikhi than essence Sikhi in expereince. Two such terms which were coined often were Gurmukh and Manmukh to explain good and bad without much contexualization. Sure we look at the basic interpertation of Gurmukh and Manmukh it means - Gurmukh (one who follows Guru) and Manmukh (one who follows mind) and there is no issue using that to discourage others from fives vices, improve discipline But what gets missed from time to time is broader, deeper estoeric definition of term Gurmukh and Manmukh-

Gurmukh - Gurmukh ( one who is attuned and indentifies with inner pure consciouness our real jot-chaitan/intuitive wisdom, acts, functions from inner soul - our real jot as it appear as hakum always unfolding) backdrop behind conditioned mind which is not confined to social religious construct (amritdhari or not).

Manmukh- Manmukh(one who is attuned with mind, one who indentifies with conditioned mind), functions, acts, reacts out of mind. This manmukh definitation is not confined by social religious construct be it amritdhari or not.

So by that deeper definition most of us are manmukhs and only rare diamonds are gurmukhs. So let us all strive to be indentify, function, acts, react from our real inner soul consciounes (Gur-chaitan-mukh towards) by further stilling our mind via Gur shabad, Gurshabad gian- wisdom than spent time judging others.

I re-watched the video fully..I think i agree with your assessment that he was alluding to suggest the Pandav Putr Arjun was feeling the same emotions expressed in Guru Granth Sahib, by Guru Arjun Dev ji because they are both are named Arjun, and both venerate Narayan.

Nevertheless, he should be careful inadvertently hurting other sentiments and provide proper context of what he is saying. Indians in general (be it sikh, hindu, muslims, jains, christian buddhist) are quite hyper senstive people because of their upbringing. There are many cases of hindus, jains being pissed, totally outrageous on the things which are deemed normal as its matter of context to wider academia crowd.

Media did absolutely horredenous job putting mirch masala on this news, this seems like a punjabi fox news channel.

    The Sukhmani Sahib tells us:

Nanak, Sadh, Prabh, bhed na paee .... Nanak, see no difference between the Sadh and the Lord

When Wahiguru Akal Purukh assumes human form, He is known with several names: Bhagat, Sadh, Sant, Gurmukh, Braham Gyani, Guru Sahiban, Satguru, Guru....

Further on, Dhan Dhan Satgur Sachay Patshah says: Gur Parmeshwer Iko Jaan, jo tis bhavai so parwaan.

But above al let us keep in mind, the body of Guru Nanak, as well as of the rest of Guru Sahibans of Bhagat Janas, are not the Lord.
Because the body is just a continent, which contains the Nam or Shabad, in each of its atoms, means they are fully Shabad. But we as humans, as we can not see Wahiguru with these our physical eyes until we reach higher levels of purity within.

So Wahiguru, knowing our limitations, He graces us to have the Darshan of His sargun swaroop in that blessed human body.
We love that swaroop of Guru Jee, not because of anything, but because the Shabad itself is manifested in that body for a particular time being, though maybe....

So mahima is of not of the body, but, of the real essence of Wahiguru in that particular body, which otherwise is made of the same 5 perishable elements like ours...

That is why it is said, the real Guru is the Shabad, and the real disciple, chela, sikh is the soul or dhun....

Neither the gross body of the Guru is the True Guru, neither our gross body is the sikh, because one day, both will decay and die.

It is the soul/dhun which merges in Satnam Samunder Shabad Guru.

    Waheguru.

Sri Guru Nanak is Parmeshvar, taking 'Avatar' in the highest and auspicious lineage [bedi].
[From Sarbloh Granth aka Manglacharan Puran, page 489, Vol. 2]

In Adi Guru Granth Sahib, it is written:

    ਭਨਿ ਮਥੁਰਾ ਕਛੁ ਭੇਦੁ ਨਹੀ ਗੁਰੁ ਅਰਜੁਨੁ ਪਰਤਖ੍ਹ ਹਰਿ ॥
...So speaks Mat'huraa: there is no difference between God and Guru; Guru Arjun is the Personification of the Lord Himself. ||7||19||

Furthermore in Bhai Gurdas Ji's varan it says:

    ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਉ ਹੈ ਪਰਮੇਸਰੁ ਸੋਈ ॥
Guru Nanak is the True Guru and is God Himself.

So this concept of the Guru being Parmeshvar Himself [in sargun saroop] is in all of our scriptural literature.

My view of women can be in be in panj pyares if we see khalsa genderless. I beleive women can be in panj pyare seva as englightenment does not have gender(panj pyares were enlightened ones), its just from traditional historical perspective- panj pyare seva in five main takth of sikhism is usually reserved to only males as per tradition. This should not be seen as sexism or anything like that it just different duties roles of panj takth (thrones) of sikhism.

"Twareekh written by Bhai Chanda Singh Firozpuri, Gohaj Pothi and Das Gur Jot written by Giani Mall Singh prove that women took Amrit in 1699. Bhatt Vahis also prove that Amrit should be given to women and they must be named "Kaur". Twareekh Guru Khalsa Part 10 mentions many women who took Amrit. On page 159, there are two sakhis. On 160, there is a sakhi of Bibi Deep Kaur who was an Amritdhari. Rani Sada Kaur, mother in-law of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, was also Amritdhari. It is written in Guru Prem Padd Parkash that in 1702 Guru Sahib married Mata Sahib Devan and gave her Amrit. She became Mata Sahib Kaur. Sant Attar Singh gave Amrit to women equally. Sant Gurbachan Singh Ji gave Amrit to women and rejected giving Kirpan amrit to women. Read Gurbani Paath Darshan written by him."

Vaadiyan! To all Sikhs and the entire world. Shining light in an extremely troubled time.

    ADDITION:

I did not have much time earlier to write about this auspicious day but I will now.

Men like Guru Nanak Dev ji are true Yug Purush's, if I may borrow a term from my own religion, men who by their mere presence in a particular age undoe the evil effects.

I'm told from my own granths that when the "shabad falls into disrepute" then the Supreme Lord takes birth to re-establish the law.

Guru Nanak was truly an incarnation of the Cosmic Energy that prevails in the universe and had all the qualities of a true Sat Guru.

In the presence of the satguru; Knowledge flourishes (Gyana raksha); Sorrow diminishes (Dukha kshaya); Joy wells up without any reason (Sukha aavirbhava); Abundance dawns (Samriddhi); All talents manifest (Sarva samvardhan).

And I think I spelled Vaadayan wrong!
