Lucky got a reaction from Mooorakh in Meditation - My Experiance, Am I Allowed To Share?
I think this may be because your mann's eye is separating and awaking  compared to the physical eyes that we are accustomed to. There was a similar question to Bhai Simranjeet last week about someone who saw pair of eyes in vision. Now, i do recall experiencing this a long time ago and there were also some other member that questioned this in the past. Bhai sab said that it was your mann's eyes looking at your very own....He said not to worry they weren't anyone elses eyes but your own. .....mann is getting jagat, purified, awakened.

I think I know what you mean...  They start off small from distance and get bigger as if you moving into them or may appear as if waves are coming towards you.  ALSO, the opposite can occur and they may appear bigge and get smaller. Appears as if they moving away from you ?
Let me know if it's this?

If I agree with what someone has said I will like. Please don't lecture me on what I should and shouldn't like. I'm not aware of liking any post with nindaya and recall only liking one post today by Sukh_preet where I agree with her view about sharing. This whole topic is about sharing. I find it annoying when people come on here and say don't share and try and discourage others from talking further. As if they are the naam simran police. It's so demotivating and infusing paranoia into people's head to think negative and watering the seeds of doubt (bahm). No one is forcing anyone to share what they don't want to and those that do are happy to do so. We will never learn if we don't ask. I am personally grateful for the cyber sangat I have met on this forum. Some I've now become good friends with and have met personally.
If people got access to mahapursh by all means go have 1-to-1 conversations and keep your conversations gupt as you please. There is no need to be post in this topic. None of us here claim to be experts. Just simple Sikh brothers and sisters walking on the path and trying to help where we can like we wished we had when we were starting out. We don't have all the answers and sometimes keep quiet if we don't know. We may be able to direct you to someone who may know but there is no pressure on anyone to do anything.
Some people just have allergic reactions when anything spiritual is discussed as if some major sin is being committed. This forum broke the taboo topic of experiences. Those of us who shared aren't suffering or regret talking about it. Any shortcomings are our own or were supposed to be a passing phenomena, not because we talked about it and Waheguru took it away. Experiences come and go.
It is very disappointing to see newcomers coming onboard seeking advice, only to be discouraged about sharing something that maybe troubling. I think it is sad since it may have taken them courage to write and post in the first place. I've seen the same members do it again and again. If you don't believe in sharing keep out of the this topic. Stop enforcing your views on others.
We have all had some kind of experience whether big or small. When you first encounter something strange and out of the ordinary it does trouble you. If it happens again well and good. If it doesn't then no big deal either, just stop being negative about it. Just keep moving forward.
Where is the average Sikh supposed to go who are not associated with any Jathabandi or those who respect all Jathabandi but are not attached to any? We Sikhs are our own worst enemy at times, constantly trying to pull each other down from the legs trying to hinder progress through indirect negativity, rather than encouraging each other and saying keep climbing.
Where are we going to learn about naam, simran or bhagti? It certainly isn't discussed in 99% of Gurdwaras near me.
I'm pleased to say this forum is one great resource for those interested on the path of naam simran. No one is on a ego trip or judgemental of those who wish to do naam simran. Everyone helps where they can and encourages where possible. There is so much knowledge contained on this site with links that has taken years to accumulate. We didn't have a clue where to look years ago. It was like searching for a needle in a haystack of where one should begin. What technique should one adopt as a beginner? What was the sounds, tastes, smells in our heads? Why was our bodies shaking etc?
So many brothers and sisters came forward and said to hell with this hidden gupt view, stood up and said we are not afraid to talk about it and are having similar experiences and issues. We want to learn, share and make progress. As we found more information on the path we shared so other's don't waste time searching like we had to. Hopefully what is being shared is helping those start their journey quicker than if everyone was working at it alone. So much time is wasted looking for answers or direction.
Bravo friends, God bless you all....
    Waheguru kirpa karan.

I pretty much never intervene in conflict but I think it’s necessary right now
This portion of the site is dedicated to sharing experiences. Simple. No arguments, no treguni posts. Nothing.
If you guys want to discuss something, send each other a personal message. That’s what a lot of us do. We talk directly with each other in private conversations. I would recommend doing the same, especially if it’s a personal issue.
People who don’t believe in sharing their spiritual experiences, also usually believe in not reading about them either. People who don’t share, typically feel susceptible to their ego feeding off of the compliments. People who don’t read, don’t want their mind tricking them during their own meditation. I understand where some of you come from.
That’s why if you share, make sure you remember it’s waheguru within you experiencing waheguru. And nothing more.
And if you read experiences, make sure you do your bhagti in gurmat with Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji as your reference. Sharing will help you verify the validity.
Sharing is what helped me progress. @Sat1176kept me accountable and @Lucky gave me guidance. We moved together as a family and all made progress. We all came to this site as beginners with little to no experience. We did not argue, fight or compete against each other. We cared and lifted each other with compassion. We changed each others lives for the better because we shared openly, kept each other accountable, shared our knowledge and made sure each and every one of us was doing well and on track. It was our love for one another that kept our bhagti strong. It’s hard to believe this family was formed over 6 years ago. Time really flies.
That being said, I want this argument to end here. If you need to say something to one another, send a direct message. But I’m hoping the posts after this post will solely be about experiences and guidance rather than small talk and arguments. I want you guys to treat each other with love and respect. You are a sangat parivaar. Your bhagti will thank you later.

    Valuable tips.
Doing Simran and feeling tired is a good thing. There is a very fine line between drifting into sleep/dreamless sleep and sunn.   With practice, you will be able to recognize the difference.

Haha .. that's how his game is..it was the same years ago and still same prevaing..  there are millions of stones and one among them is Paras to understand his game. Many coals and one diamond and so on. Guruji was that One who understood and made ' his own' people understand it.... Rest all are his playthings dying n taking birth in circles
Why was Bhai Mardana ji not ' converted' by Guru Nanak Sahib or Sai Miya Mir ji or Painde Khan ( by Guru Hargobind Sahib) for that matter?  His Bani tells Musalman to be ' mom dil' become a soft hearted person --  that is, he instructs them to be a good Muslim To Brahmins he says that call urself Brahmin and superior only if you realise Brahm. No where he tells them to 'convert' .
We as Sikhs shouldn't believe in increasing numbers rather instilling ' values' but yes not everyone understands that..  as per ' his' game- hukam.

I know it's a post from last year. I don't recall coming across it, but yes, I can give a few pointers if interested.
After 40,  the workout regime has to change for males. Especially if you want to maintain or want an even stronger and fitter body.
If you find that doing lunges, deadlifts, shoulder press, bench press is not giving results like it may have done years ago, then the answer is "testosterone". Change diet and add nutrients especially, Vitamin D3 high dose,  Magnesium, Zinc,  D-aspartic acid, Fenugreek, Boron, Vitamin K1 and K2,,......to name a few.   Also recommend plenty of ginger(daily), coconut oil, broccoli, garlic, cabbage, greens, beans,. Avoid soy at all costs and limit fried foods, flaxseed and all processed junk.
Need to spend more time pumping and doing compound exercise with weights. Keep intense cardio workouts a minimum and don't slog it out on cardio if trying to warm up prior to lifting and pulling.
the diet and workout approach should yield positive results within a couple of months. I say this because my body reactions and recovery are quite slow, but within 2 months my invisible six pack started appearing.
I've also started to take citrulline malate prior to workouts as it boosts nitrous oxide and blood flow.

Yes,  we want to go upwards from mooldhara.  There is a lot of dormant energy there and the idea is to direct it upwards.

This technique is good also and makes sure that the "flow' is upwards.  I've come across a few people that have successfully got to anhad using this technique...so give it a try and see how you get on.
Personally, I used the saas graas "wahe" in and "guru" out technique.  I wrote some detailed instructions some years ago on the meditation thread if you've come across it.
Mooldhara-   I'll  give you my personal understanding from learning and experience.   I don't recommend putting dhyian there, if anything, you could start with putting a little awareness on the navel as per saas graas instructions at first.  This helps during first stages when the sevak is trying to build a repetitive maan-dhan habit for doing simran. Once you get going, then the dhyian should be on the dhun of gurmantar only whilst doing saas graas...

    Hope that clarifies a little.

@Jageeraveerji, 😂😂 . U see me on a pedestal which is actually a broken dabba- I keep falling from 😝.
On a serious note lemme share my latest discovery- I was going through 'Laava' and I realized that it's like Guru Sahib is describing the four stages to meet the Lord.
soohee mehlaa 4. Soohee, Fourth Mehl:

har pahilarhee laav parvirtee karam drirh-aa-i-aa bal raam jee-o.
In the first round of the marriage ceremony, the Lord sets out His Instructions for performing the daily duties of married life.

banee barahmaa vayd Dharam darirhHu paap tajaa-i-aa bal raam jee-o.
Instead of the hymns of the Vedas to Brahma, embrace the righteous conduct of Dharma, and renounce sinful actions.

Dharam darirhHu har naam Dhi-aavahu simrit naam drirh-aa-i-aa.
Meditate on the Lord's Name; embrace and enshrine the contemplative remembrance of the Naam.

satgur gur pooraa aaraaDhahu sabh kilvikh paap gavaa-i-aa.
Worship and adore the Guru, the Perfect True Guru, and all your sins shall be dispelled.

sahj anand ho-aa vadbhaagee man har har meethaa laa-i-aa.
By great good fortune, celestial bliss is attained, and the Lord, Har, Har, seems sweet to the mind.

jan kahai naanak laav pahilee aarambh kaaj rachaa-i-aa. ((1))
Servant Nanak proclaims that, in this, the first round of the marriage ceremony, the marriage ceremony has begun. ((1))
    Second Laav
har doojrhee laav satgur purakh milaa-i-aa bal raam jee-o.
In the second round of the marriage ceremony, the Lord leads you to meet the True Guru, the Primal Being.

    nirbha-o bhai man ho-ay ha-umai mail gavaa-i-aa bal raam jee-o.
With the Fear of God, the Fearless Lord in the mind, the filth of egotism is eradicated.

nirmal bha-o paa-i-aa har gun gaa-i-aa har vaykhai raam hadooray.
In the Fear of God, the Immaculate Lord, sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, and behold the Lord's Presence before you.

har aatam raam pasaari-aa su-aamee sarab rahi-aa bharpooray.
The Lord, the Supreme Soul, is the Lord and Master of the Universe; He is pervading and permeating everywhere, fully filling all spaces.

antar baahar har parabh ayko mil har jan mangal gaa-ay.
Deep within, and outside as well, there is only the One Lord God. Meeting together, the humble servants of the Lord sing the songs of joy.

jan naanak doojee laav chalaa-ee anhad sabad vajaa-ay. ((2))
Servant Nanak proclaims that, in this, the second round of the marriage ceremony, the unstruck sound current of the Shabad resounds. ((2))

So the first stage is where we start towards the first step of Dharam and unlike the 'world' find it SWEET- ( isn't that why we are here on this forum?? and both on stage I ( see- I told u so)
Stage II Is as we hear ANHAD SOUNDS
Stage III is when Gurmukhs can travel to Astral Worlds for SANT MANDLIs and sangat
Stage IV is getting absorbed in the LORD - Being one with him

Lucky reacted to HisServant in Meditation - My Experiance, Am I Allowed To Share?
@Sat1176 @Lucky @BhagatSingh I remember years ago (and even months ago) I used to complain to you guys about how getting to dhoor and blasting the mind out of the body was such a difficulty. But I can successfully say that it's almost as if it's a walk in the park now. Did about 5-10 mins of chanting simran with a friend the other day (in a noisy public place) and the mind was ready for blast off. I still get stuck in that middle point where it feels like the minds about to launch (but never does). But even getting to this point never felt possible. I'm just working on cutting down the amount of time it takes. There was even a day where it was almost immediate. But I think it takes roughly 5 mins on average (down from 2-4 hours when I was stuck in my bubble). Btw: this was some solid advice which I can finally follow now. Almost 4 years later.
But one thing to note: I'm starting to realize, these blasts may not be a journey outside of the body... perhaps they're a journey inward?

Lucky got a reaction from Jageera in Confused about Kundalini /Rom Rom
A non-swimmer can read as many books on how to swim.  Months and years of reading..reading..and reading,  without ever attempting to get in the water, will never help him to swim a length physically. In the same manner, if you don't ever undertake the real practice, then all the readings will be of no use in the end.

I firmly believe that there is no other technique more effective than navel activation for establishing rom rom. I never tried to put together the various mahapursh's guidance about Navel, to conclude it's significance.
