This is shameful and getting embarrassing. Gurdwaras are meant to be a dharamshala  where seekers go to learn, practice and serve. This politics game is getting beyond a joke and its embarrassing that we as a community have to call the police every time there is an argument that these people cannot discuss as mature adults.
Correct me if im wrong, along with patience and humility Guru Gobind Singh ji also encouraged his sikhs to learn and practice debate skills.
sorry to say i did chuckle at first when the first bibi got floored but after that it was just silly.. also funny thing is that when i watched it i was not surprised or shocked as it seems to be a common trend to kick off in gurdwareh in us and canada..

Yes lohe da bata, bowl made of iron is mainly a way for vegetarians to get iron. Make sure to wash it and dry it after use. You don't want to consume rust and you don't want the bowl to get destroyed via rusting process.
In order to do bhagti well, you must try to avoid foods with tamasic properties, that is, food that make you sleepy, tired, lazy, overall unhealthy. Try to avoid sugars and starch, that's teh main culprit in the west.
 
Your spice tolerance is going down because you are becoming more sensitive. You are picking up more information from the nerves. You are eating the same amount of spice as before but you are experiencing it more fully. You are more aware of it.

This is a good thing and means that you are well on your way. Any sensory clarity is a good thing, and I would explore those tastes to bring more clarity into it.
If those spices take you out of the moment, then you just have to reduce their intake.
 
Also problems with higher sensitivity arises when you become sensitive to other people's thoughts and feelings and language, then you might need to find ways to deal with that. So be aware of this and take note if that happens, so you can look for techniques to minimize conflict.

I think this is it.  This should end all discussions. Let people/couple/men/women decide for themselves which dynamics they like submissive/dominant/equal or whatever dynamic there is. Everyone's personality is  unique & different.

There was an incident that happened in wolverhampton with sant baba isher singh ji..Baba ji was going to attend a divan at nanksar gurdwara and one individual took it upon himself to print posters saying to not attend the divan as sant baba isher singh is a pakand etc.. While a sevak was driving Baba ji they saw the individual pasting the posters on the wall.. Baba ji asked the sevak to stop driving, baba ji came out went to the individual and said 'please let me help you' the individual was shocked and said these posters are about you.. Baba ji smiles and replies 'meleh kapre ninda toye'...
I cannot validate the authenticity of this story as i heard it in a discussion amongst sangat but two things we can learn from this is the humility of elevated souls and that even if one slanders you, let them as they are wiping off your sins.:)

My 2 cents or 2 pennies...
My comment is not really about this topic but just wanted to say that i have noticed over the last 6 months or so (maybe before) that this forum is going down the same avenue as sikh sangat. Meaning all they ever do is argue and the pattern is very similar to what has happened on this topic..on SS a topic gets side tracked and then there is a battle between 2 groups consisting of 3-4 members on each side and admin only ban the topic once their ideology is put into serious doubt (challenged), its not a debate/discussion but an argument. 
Im not saying this is the exact case here but just a pattern occurring on some posts here, having said that the intelligence, patience and open mindedness on this forum is miles ahead of any other sikh forum..

I get that anyone would be devastated under those circumstances but you'd heal up and move on in time.

We joke about ourselves all the time. But when some people start mixing their ideologies into the otherwise light-hearted situations then you can no longer be light-hearted because they killed the vibe. You now have to deal with that ideology being there.

Let me explain it another way.
It's like when you have a room full of people joking about random shit, and having a good time. And someone says, "you know what they say about cancer, bla bla bla" and everyone laughs.

And someone frowns, "my grandma has cancer..."

That kills the entire vibe.

You can never ever change somebody's opinion, who does not wanna change it. If someone consider a female body as a punishment, they are losing the bigger picture and without women there will be no man. And about karmic punishment, whether men or women they all go through it.

Well, I don't think there hs to be certain way to specifically do it.  In UK there is a program where they do simran for 12 hours straight. (not the same person! LOL) DIfferent people take turns.  They all do it their own way.  One group called Acapella Jatha, did it their own unique way and is one of the most beautiful I have ever heard.  They use a piano keyboard rather than harmonium, and it makes it way more relaxed.  Others like a group called Qi Rattan do it by guitar.  The point is to repeat Gods name.  As long as it's done with devotion, I don't think it you are being graded on it.  Nor do I think you even need an instrument with it.  Just do it from the heart. 
Here is the one from Acapella Jatha.  Be sure to listen at least a few mins into it as the girls actually sing in harmony to each other. It's beautiful!  I have used this version to adapt it to my own way but I do it on guitar as I play guitar.
