^ its a valid emotional response bro...its really messed up....I am glad some Singhs are taking responsibility and dealing with these issues. I totally agree, we def need bir rass.
Training should be mandatory in sikh households.

Much Respect to Bhai Sahib Ji and I believe UK singhs are the toughest people of all the western Sikhs. You can find a Sarbloh gym only in UK.

Its unfortunate if you are starting to think like this.  So, what can you or you going to do about it ?
Do you see a better religion/alternative for women who are interested in Spirituality ? If you do , please enlighten your female sisters so that they can follow you & join you.
Maybe you can start your own cult/religion which is exclusive only to women, and started by a woman.
Your above comment is just absolutely ridiculous. lol.

Devi is daasri/sewak of Guru Gobind Singh ji , she wanted to do seva, thus she manifested herself in the form of swords and weapons with Guru ji's agya.

Sehajmaari is a person who maars your sehaj- basically someone who riles you up or makes you angry.   This word was just invented few days ago.

I was listening to the tape again, after like 10 years. There is so much hidden wealth and knowledge if you are receptive to it.
Maybe we can expand on some points for our own benefit.

For example, around 40:00 mins, he was not interested in reciting any kalams, he was not very happy being born in Islam. He said the greatest kalam is following the bachan of your murshad/ guru/ teacher. We should cpnsider ourselves greatly fortunate that we are born into Sikh families and have the greatest GuruMantra of all, Waheguru.... so even now if we don’t recite Nama, there is no greater tragedy than that.

Although, all religions are respectable, Gursikhi is the greatest Dharam which connects us with sole Naam. 🙏🏽

So taking inspiration from this thread, I had an idea why not start a sehaj path. So I have started reading of Sri Dasam Granth Sahib ji on ipad with a sooksham ardas. And planning to do an hr of reading everyday hopefully 🙏🏽. Just finished 28 angs , which includes about halfway of Akal Ustat. Maharaj is jaani jaan and will forgive this keet for any mistakes.  🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 I am no one to do anything. I am not this body and not this mind, Maharaj gave the furna and maharaj will make it happen to forgive my countless and innumerable Sins.

When you read pita ji di baani an interesting side effect is that it motivates you to be physically strong and fit. I just worked out a little bit after two week break. Hopefully, Guru ji keeps it up from this body.
Good stretching and exercise of legs is needed to stay for long sittings of meditation.Just sharing my random thoughts 💭

Obstacles are good sign in spiritual journey. That means your bad karams are working out plus kaal/kalyug/maya/ are trying to distract you from psth. Its good sign. Keep at it. Stay relaxed dont tense

Guru Ji were pleased with Banis of the Bhagats & Bhatts, thus they were included in SGGS.

Next one would say, being pleased is not same as bani, this is the same mindset that led people to start changing alankar and taking the bhatt swaiye & bhagat bani out in the past in 1950s. Thats when the major Sants of that time got together, and put an end to it.

    Wjkk wjkf !
I wasn’t sure if I should upload these or keep to myself. A month ago, guru sahib got these photos edited on procreate ipad through this sareer and did kirpa of giving chitra darshan. This is solely for Sargun Upasaks, and I dont want to be a cause for any ninda. You need to have sharda bhavna. I got a 36x24 inch huge poster printed and it aids in meditation. Hopefully if these are useful for even single person for sargun upashna then i would  consider this upload useful. Feel free to print and distribute. These are high res pics. I uploaded three edits.

The purpose of these videos is to reaffirm and reconfirm again and again that there is life after death and you will be accountable for your deeds. I know Guru ji already tells us everything in Gurbani and we don't need anyone else. But its good to hear truth from other sources. And also these kinds of vidyas exist.  But after an incident last night I am not sure if I should have posted it. Watch at your own risk. I had a really scar dream last night, almost real, in which an exorcism was taking place. And when I woke up in fear I was reciting Waheguru Waheguru, so that was a good thing that came out of it.  The voices in recordings are real and I fear if they tend to attract similar frequencies, so better to stay away just in case you are sensitive to these things.

@paapiman I was going to write about some rumors I heard as a child, but then realized it would just be slander or nindya.
Bottom line is if your sexual energy is not transmutated properly via simran, sadhana, sewa, jap tap, creativity, or Grihasth Marg duties, then Kaam will just come out in various forms. Sometime ago there was a news about a Pakistani man who copulated with corpses after dugging them up from their graves. In Kalki avtar, you can read how people will fall in Kaam and forget about their relations.
Up until Baba Isher Singh Ji's time the pehra was very strict. No one could even think about having even a bad thought because they would be caught right away, and get punished instantly by physical beating , right there and then. So the minds of Bihangams were pure. But you cannot take guarantee these days. So everyone should just use their common sense, and try to be safe.

Baba Nand Singh Ji was asked by his murshad/teacher Baba MahaHarnam Singh Ji Bhucho wale to have a portrait of Guru Nanak Sahib prepared which most accurately symbolizes Guru Sahib. There were many portraits of Guru Nanak Sahib in which he is seen pointing upwards, eyes rolled up, etc. Baba Ji wanted a picture in which when ever you look at the photo , it seems as if Guru Sahib is looking right at you.  So Baba Nand Singh Ji according to the hukam of his Murshad/ teacher gave some pointers to a painter in Jagraon on how the painting should look . The painter made several versions before Baba ji finally approved the painting that most accurately symbolized Guru Sahib. In one version of sakhi, it is also said that the painter had the darshan of Guru Sahib which helped him in making the painting.
Gurbani says  tere banke loyan dant risala sohne nakk jinne lamde vala, kanchan kaya soyne ki dhala....
The Golden prakash and the golden clothes are based on kanchan kaya sone ki dhala. This is something that can be experienced by those who have had the darshan or practical experience. It was very interesting to note when I came across the practical experience of Bhai Dharmjit Singh Gurmat Meditation who talked about his exprience of Golden Parkash, and in anyway he is not related to Nanaksar Samparda.
One hand has mala in it, it symbolizes Bhagti, and to do Bhagti. The other hand is hidden.
One foot is exposed with padam in it, this is for Sikhs to meditate upon and do sewa of. The other foot is hidden, and is for everyone else(other creation) besides humans to do sewa of.
The photo is more of a symbolic representation, to do dhyana of charan kamal , and use as an aid, as a reminder to think about Guru Ji, and as a beginner. ,
imo I also want to mention that no one can create an exact photo of Nirankar Rabb Ji Guru Nanak Sahib, but its more of a symbolic aid to help devotees. And there have been countless stories in past who had darshan of Guru Nanak Sahib through the photo during Baba Nand Singh Ji and Baba Ishar Singh Jis times.

One time a devotee brought a saroop of Guru Nanak Sahib which was not the same painting. Baba ji closed his eyes and bowed to it. Someone asked why did you bow to it, its not even a true saroop of Guru Sahib. Baba Nand Singh ji, the greatest Brahmgyani of all, whose name is mentioned by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji in Sau Sakhi as a lead, Nand Singh Garja Singh Aadi Jin laaj panth ki saaji...said that whatever reminds us of our beloved Guru Ji deserves respect and bowing down to.
So if you dont bow down to a photo, that's fine. No one will force you. But its not the absolute right thing to do either. Hopefully, with time you will realize.
I also came across another person who is not related to Nanaksar, Mangal Singh Dhillon youtube channel. He talks about his conversations with God, how he came across a divine power, a divya purush Omkar Ji maharah. He told him that real saroop of Guru Nanak Sahib resembles the paintings in Nanaksar Jagraon.
