I have been guilty myself of dancing or doing Bhangra during weddings. Now that I look back at it, it looks ridiculous & embarrassing, but nothing crazy like the ones in videos in this thread. I feel cringe , wish I can go back and erase those. Maybe it's just maturity with age, or more understanding of Gurus Updesh. 
Guru ji mentions against dancing, & listening to songs/ tunes other than Gurbani. 
I think for me it was the young age, the peer pressure of mixing and validation from others, the atmosphere & the sangats effect. But thank God I have come off it, and the idea of dancing now repulses me, its ridiculous.

There is a great karak avatar who is on this earth now. But Mahapurash who told us about Him refused to let us know about his whereabouts. He said it is not time to be pargat yet and he was not allowed to tell. This mahapurash did a sampat akhand path and intense kamai for 6 months to find about where this Nit Avatar is right now. Also one of my relatives had darshan of this Nit Avatar in child saroop. Acc. to Mahapurash, this Brahmgyani is the Mahaan Brhamgyani that you see in my avatar pic.
Sant Baba Ishar Singh ji has already taken another physical body on this earth and only God knows for what purpose. He is probably in his 20s right now. And acc. to the Mahapurash, he lives alone right now.

Hopefully I can have darshan of this Brahmgyani in my lifetime.

I personally believe that Khalsa Raj will not be limited to Punjab only but it shall spread out on this whole earth. And all the wrong doings that we are seeing today will be removed in Khalsa Raj.

The best advice is just keep at it and be consistent without expectations   I know easier said than done

There is a bibi who shares the experience of her Amritdhari Father who wore all 5 kakar but used to drink Alcohol secretely, and was thus re incarnated in the form of Bhoot and had to suffer. Check out the channel i posted, its in there.

Dhan Dhan Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj Jee Aaya Nu 🙏

As per recorded bachan of  Baba Ishar Singh Ji Kaleran, the maryada of doing atleast one sehaj path or equivalent is ancient and began since Guru Gobind Singh Ji's times, and was made pargat by Baba Nand Singh Ji. Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji Rara Sahib wale also recommended devotees to try to do atleast one sehaj path or equivalent in a month. 
This is a minimum, and to get started on the spiritual path. This is like homework and beginner stages. Once you progressed, antaryami mahapurush gave you further instructions and techniques based on your avastha. 

And just to add this maryada of doing 6 malas moolmantar, 80 malas waheguru gurumantra, Japji sahibs etc was done by Singhs during Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jis times and during war times when they were mostly on horses. 

I got this from Anand Sarovar and Anand Chamatkar where Baba Nand Singh ji tells that 2.5 hours is just karza but anything more is bhagti and gets deposited. I have heard and read about 2.5 hours numerous times but just cant pinpoint exact references. I will go through bacahns and post screenshots.
Also Sant Isher Singh Ji rara sahib emphasized dasvand of time which comes to be 2.5 hrs. 
 

 

Santren Daya Singh Ji Katha is highly highly recommended. It is for advanced meditators. His katha is based on his personal experiences not through book reading.
The thing with listening to Katha is that if you do not follow the teachings or try to inculcate them in your daily life, it will lose its effect in long run. The real benefit comes when after listening one tries to follow it in practical life.  When I was 18, I used to listen to katha by Giani Thakur Singh ji, 3-4 hours on end, it did make a difference esp with my Santhya.  Although I still have not been able to follow the things that he used to mention like :
100s paths of Japji Sahib, Jaap Sahib, Anand Sahib Paths of Chaupai for getting darshan of Guru Gobind Singh JI 1.25 Lakh repetition of Moolmantar, 36 lakh repetition of Moolmantar, Sava Lakh Jap of Japji Sahib Paths of Chandi di var, or Shastar Naam Mala or Brahm Kavach, Jaap of Guru Gayatri Mantra 5 paths Sukhmani everyday for 5 years

true true, it is a technology, a highly advanced science, eg when preparing amrit,  tantar is the process of khanda, sarbloh bata, stone & woolen cloth energies combinatin, 5 banis are mantar,  jantar are 5 kakars. it is indeed a science, no doubt.
But In Gurbani, jantar mantar aukhad sab shaar....something like that, are also described as useless, or described with useless connotation.
In laymen terms, common man idea, not learned scholars like you ( not saying people here are illiterate lol ), but most common usage is seen as negative, kala ilam, black magic  etc etc.
So the idea is to describe the dark forces & their destructive use through science of tantar mantar.  Like noorshah used a thread to convert Mardana into a goat or something.
Theoretically, there is no dark or light, but these things are out of our experience yet. So we still need to use adjectives to create a sensational or dramatic effect.

Here are some examples/sakhis showing Power of Gurbani that I have come across. Please elaborate on them. I dont have all the details.
Story of Mardana, Bala, & Guru Nanak in Dhaka vs the evil sorcereses Noorshah etc Singh of Sant Gurbachan Singh Khalsa in calcutta, vs Tantric, Moolmantar vs Tantric, tantric died in process Patwari in england who did 31 mala Moolmantar from past 30 years vs Muslim peer from Kenya who had knowledge of 14 ilams. Sant Ishar Singh Ji rara & Suleman Baba Ishar Singh Ji vs a ghost in haveli of Delhi Baba Nand Singh ji & many entities, who ended up offering their services to Baba Ji Baba Nand Singh Ji vs Kalyug, who run due to power of Sukhmani Sahib Baba Harnam Singh Rampur kheda vs ghost during a shila Story of Maasi Ji, power of Chandi di var

When I share something, I share as it is including my flaws, I think we all have to start from somewhere even if it is full of flaws...slowly Guru JI will sort it out.
@jaikara,  the first time I completed sehaj path it took me almost a year, i did it from laptop. then the next ones got easier & more doable in 6 month, and in 1 month. So i would say start it because time is running away fast ...who knows what will happen tomorrow...
@papiman , yea bro, hopefully Guru ji gets it done from me again....

With Gurus grace , das was able to finish 1,25,000 repetition within 40 days but with many mistakes.
Hence, my experience will differ from those who will do it with more pure minds or at different spiritual stages. I did have some personal aspirations as a reason for this jaap. Only Guru Ji & time will tell.
regardless, Here was my experience:
- i stuck to mental japa because of time constraints. I think it will be impossible to do loud japa for 16 hours straight.
- most of the days were consistent 32 malas, however there were 4 days on which the number differed as following, 16, 6, etc
- 38-39 days were in one spot, i think i did end up changing the spot
- i did light jot for 38/40 days. lighting it everyday in itself was a challenge,,and so was making sure to keep water everyday
- the first week was full of enthusiasm, but the rest of the time it was ok
- first time i did it , it took around 5 hours, then slowly the mental speed got faster and i averaged between 3 to 3 hours 45 minutes / 32 malas depending on mental alertness. if i was sleepy it would take 4 hrs to finish
- as for focus & concentration....that was only the first 20 minutes...but the rest of the time mind was distracted with many thoughts, mostly thoughts of lust & vishe vikar
Things I learnt:
- it is very difficult to take on 40 day challenge or chalisas with fixed timing, fixed spot , fixed ghee jot, water everyday. I think these are successful for mahapurush of pure mind, who have control over their minds. it is better to do a khula japa with less restrictions.
- i cannot ever entertain the thought of doing a siddhi of a mantra...i would rather do a casual japa of moolmantra with loose timings.
 
Post-Japa
-  i dont think I am sensitive enough to notice any changes yet...the mental state is same,..hmmm... i think a ton of japa is needed, in my case, to hammer my mind, also along with japa mind needs to be trained 24/7 to live consciously and make conscious choices.
 
I have had this desire to do this japa for a long time, almost a decade. I am glad Guru Ji got it done from me...rest is upto him to take care of me ...
 
 
 
 

Baba Nand Singh Ji mentioned that one of his previous births was that of Shri Bharth Ji, and his murshad was Baba Mahaharnam Singh Ji in the form of Sri Ram Ji. This is mentioned in the biographies. 
 
Another previous janam of Baba Nand Singh ji was of Shekh Brahm Ji from lineage of Baba Farid ji, whose bani is in Sri Guru Granth Sahib, and who also flew a wall in hurry to meet Guru Nanak Sahib ji. 

Background of Baba Mahaharnam Singh Ji Bhucho Bhagti : Baba ji were Dargahi Mahapurush, obviously being mere humans we cannot say anything regarding their avastha or bhagti but still to get an idea, we can write few words for Sifat Salah. Baba Maharnam Singh Ji were Avtar of Sri Ram Chandar Jee in Treta Yug. Since birth they were always in Samadhi, rarely spoke with anyone except their own Mauj. People called them Mastana. 
Baba Ji came in contact with Sant Sewa Singh  & Sant Mall Singh ji who traced their lineage back to Sri Guru Gobind SIngh Ji Maharaj. Baba Ji were asked to do simran of moolmantar and Japji Sahib.  Baba ji expressed his desire to have darshan of Narsingh after having read Bhagat Bani. Sant Mall SIngh ji gave him Narsingh Kavach  to read only 5 times, after which Baba Ji himself became roop of Narsingh Avatar. Time passed, and Baba Ji completed 7.5 lakh repetition of Japji Sahib in Amritsar Darbar Sahib. He had furna of Nasingh Avtar Darshana. Baba Ji was asked to consume poison/Sankhiya maybe Arsenic ? as a diet of Narsingh Avtar.  Baba Ji had darshan. 3 times it was said Kalyug Praman Nanak Guru ,  meaning the Avtar of Kalyug is Guru Nanak Sahib now, and no one else. 
I have just tried to provide a summary, the details are below. 
Morale: We should just focus on Guru Nanak Sahib, and we neither have capacity or bhagti to recite Narsingh Kavach, and nor the capability to digest Sankhiya/ Arsenic in order to have darshan of Narsingh Avtar. 
But we do remember Narsingh ji every evening during sunset, when we recite HAR JUG JUG BHAGAT UPAYA..HARNAKASH DUSHAT HAR MARYA PREHLAD TRAYA

Hanji, in reality not while sleeping, I know of three people who personally told me this. Two of them were my mom’s masad and masi ji. Masi ji couldn’t handle the partap and fell on ground unconscious.
Baba Bhajan Singh ji Patiala came to visit us in Canada, and he also told his experience personally  about Darshan.
Principal Balbir Singh Hansra had darshan. You can speak to his son Gurpal Singh Hansra if you need more information. I can provide that number. 
 
Famous swami Ganesdatt ji, and Birla Seth had darshan of Sri Krishan Ji.
One time , a sikh had darshan of Baba Deep Singh Ji from Baba Mitt Singh Ji Nihang Samparda. Baba Mitt Singh Ji gave indication to that sikh about the dagger stabbing nishan, and check it out when Baba Isher Singh Ji is doing ishnan, which indeed proved to be true.
These are just examples off the top of my head. But there are like 10 other occasions I have come across while reading the biographies by Baba Geja Singh ji.
10 jaame pargat roop, 74 jaame in form of Sants. 
Khalsa mera roop hai khaas.
My mind cannot comprehend the workings of Guru.
