It's handy too. It's not something people can easily exclude me from, even if they try.

By far the best answer, both from a worldly view or a spiritual view.

but we are writing / speaking to each other in English now and Not an Indian language? British implies conquered country , colony, or what the Americans call people from UK or as it originally meant it was the greater Brittany ( smaller being in France) from when French Kings ruled UK.. In sort it is England. UK implies Union, of all, anyhow I was born and raised in England...I have the right to be called it as much as anyone..that said I understand your point as most  people from immigrant groups will call themselves British.
In which case I am a British Punjabi Sikh

Excellent point Paaji. During the times of Maharaaj, Gurudwaras were known as Dharamsaals (place where Dharamik education is taught).

Do we even have a Rehatnama, which clearly forbids all meat? Please don't bring Gurbani verses into this issue. It is very much clear from Sri Aad Gurbani that Gurmat promotes a Lacto-vegetarian diet.
Most Rehatname probably order Singhs not to eat Halal meat. Is that right?

Please just ignore my question, if you don't want to discuss this issue anymore.

But, you cannot deny that ideally speaking, Kirtan must be done in Raags. If Maharaaj has clearly given us instructions in Sri Aad Gurbani (for so many Shabads), as to which Raags to be used to sing Gurbani, then why not follow the Hukam of Sri Satguru jee?
IMHO, this is not a very big issue, but it might be for some other Samprada, like maintaining Sarabloh Bibek (which is not mandatory for all Amritdharis) is a big issue for AKJ.

No SIKH has the right to alter Gurbani.
Sri Satguru jee (Second Master) has the right to do that. Daas is not sure if the above sakhi is true or not, but if it is, Daas wont be surprised.
Even, Sri Satguru jee (Fifth Master) did not include Sri Pran Sangli (a Gurbani of First Master), while compiling the saroop of Sri Aad Granth saab.
Sri Satguru jee (Tenth Master) also changed a word in Gurbani, while reciting Gurbani to Shaheed Bhai Mani Singh jee Maharaaj at Sri Damdama Sahib.

Martin Shkreli: Man who price hiked life-saving drug ordered to repay £47m profits
A man who was dubbed “Pharma Bro” after hiking the price of a life-saving drug by nearly 4,000% has been ordered to repay the £47m he made in profit by a US court.
Martin Shkreli sparked widespread outrage when as CEO of Turing Pharmaceuticals - later Vyera - he steeply increased the price of Daraprim after obtaining exclusive rights to the decades-old medicine in 2015.
The price of the medicine, which treats a rare parasitic disease that affects pregnant women and cancer patients among others, rose from $13.50 to $750 per pill.
Shkreli, who is serving a seven-year jail sentence for fraud, was barred from the drugs industry for life by Judge Denise Cote on Friday and ordered to pay back the profits he and his company made from the scheme."Shkreli was no side player in, or a ‘remote, unrelated’ beneficiary of Vyera’s scheme," Cote wrote in a 135-page opinion.
"He was the mastermind of its illegal conduct and the person principally responsible for it throughout the years."
The ruling comes after a seven-day bench trial in December in a case brought by the Federal Trade Commission and seven states.
He defended the price hikes as capitalism at work and said insurance and other programmes ensured that people who need Daraprim would ultimately get it.
But the move sparked outrage from medical centres to Congress to the 2016 presidential campaign trail, where Hillary Clinton termed it price-gouging and future president Donald Trump called Shkreli "a spoiled brat".
Shkreli eventually offered hospitals half off - still amounting to a 2,500% increase.
But as patients normally take most of the treatment after returning home, they and their insurers still faced the top price.
He resigned as Turing’s CEO in 2015, a day after he was arrested on securities fraud charges related to hedge funds he ran before getting into the pharmaceuticals industry. He was convicted and is serving a seven-year prison sentence.
Vyera and its parent company, Phoenixus AG, settled the case last month, agreeing to make Daraprim available to any potential generic competitor at the cost of producing the drug.

It's not that brother because these fudhus don't ever talk about that. What gives them away is their face and the way they pronounce certain Panjabi words, as well as words they use that Sikhs don't.
They are testing the boundaries, but I'm seasoned, but like you mentioned, someone dim-witted, or not knowledgeable may be at risk.

Celebrity chef Antony Worrall Thompson says he is not against Covid vaccinations, despite a sign in his pub saying unvaccinated people are welcome.
The restauranteur runs The Greyhound in Oxfordshire, where the notice made by an anti-vaccination group was put up.
Mr Worrall Thompson says he will remove any specific reference to the group, but will continue to show a sign to support equality.
The NHS says vaccines are safe and the best protection against Covid-19.
The sign at the pub, near Henley-on-Thames, says: "We do not discriminate. Race, gender, age, disability, vaccinated or unvaccinated. Everyone equal here. Everyone welcome."
The TV chef, who opened his first restaurant in London in 1981, used to appear on the BBC's Ready Steady Cook, and came fifth on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in 2003.
    'Not irresponsible'
He told the BBC: "I'm doing it [having the sign up] because I don't want to discriminate against anyone.
"At the end of the day we've done our time, we've done two years of this, lockdowns and various things and precautions, and I think it's time to move on."
Asked if it was irresponsible, he answered: "I don't think it's irresponsible at all.
"You know you have the choice. Freedom of choice to get vaccinated, freedom of choice to come to The Greyhound."
He added: "I agree with people getting vaccinated. I'm not an anti-vaxxer... to me if you don't want to get vaccinated, if you don't want to put chemicals into your body, it has to be your choice."
