Woman, you don't need a pill. You need to go to the doctor. Get an x-ray done. They need to see how well your back bones are aligned and figure out if your back bones are pinching any of your spinal chord nerves. Or it could be something else, they will figure it out so go to a doctor.
I'm like you, I stay away from pills and such. But you have to make a better judgement. If I was in your position and I fell down and broke my back. I would not have turned away what pills have to offer.
Actually I probably would've lol. I would have meditated on the pain. ;)
But you gotta remember even Batman needed help after Bane broke his back. So go see a doctor.

Thanks for sharing your story Gurpreet!.
What kind of yoga pose were you doing when you fell
And the monthly pain began since the fall...?
I am not sure what they used to do in old times when they had no pills... i think women used to take sundh ( ginger powder) and alsi ( flaxseed). Ask your mom about alsi pinnis, they use it for women.
How about injections ? are you afraid of them too

I would say start aerobic exercise again, no more than 20-25 minutes a day. Keep eating healthy.
The doctor will do tests to check for Vit B12 deficiency, Thyroid Hormone, Iron Levels, Hemoglobin levels. There are tests for Ca, Mg, Phosphorus& Vitamin D, but not sure if doc would do that just yet.
Find a female gynecologist too. Explain your situation to her. She might suggest OCPs or injection medroxyprogesterone/ hormones etc.
Most likely you will just be asked to take an Advil or another version for your pain. This is the 1st line treatment.
    But start the aerobics again.
Poor you, were'nt you using a wall when practicing sirasana.

Naw, I thought I was an advanced yogi. So I put a yoga mat on a wood floor rather than carpet and wanted to reach nirvana lol . The only nirvana I reached was learning more about sikhi in those three days. Not complaining that much, it was a blessing in disguise :).
I think I will start aerobic execise again, it's not like I am ever gonna gain weight :( lol
    Thank you :)

We all gonna see the moral through our lenses lol. For me I don't get into background cuz it can be anything maybe she married him for money or was forced. But in India arranged marriages have happening since ages and with time people adjust. What if after marriage I put on 200lb, that means my husband now have the right to cheat on me or find another better looking woman than me? Marriage is sacred. Once you are married you have to let go of your desires.

Well it makes those men look stupid too, it that makes a woman look like a deciever. Moral of the story acc to my monkey mind is, women can easily deceive a man with their looks and charm and men are stupid that they can't see what is right or wrong lol. And those men are in lust too so nobody wins here. I like that charitar next one please lol

Debates do turn into contests, which is good and can be bad. But where there is strong evidence in favour of either side, then obstinacy or deviancy is a very base act. It shows that the other side is simply not interested in learning, and that is what we are all here to do.

Bapu Ragmaala hears heavy breathing coming from his kid's room, and thinks, "ajj kal de bache pata ni ki dekhi jande ne. ajj main enu sabak dena".
He rushes in and plants a few thapad on the kid and takes away his ipad. "Ki dekhi jaana salea? Kujh akal kar. Ah kam vaste jameya si tainu?" Then he looks at the Ipad and it's baba ji teaching meditation. :P

Some have mentioned wanting access to online simran etc. And we rely on ones from gurdwaras etc. But I know there is online streaming audio kind of like the gamers use... That can be used for online conferences.
Why not have a time (make it weekends so more could attend) and have some take initiative to start simran for Sikh Awareness, and we could all join in since it's streaming??
Each weekend maybe a different person could initiate and we could have different styles, I might even initiate sometime if I'm brave enough and do it with guitar... Someone else might start it with harmonium etc but since we could all hear each other we could interact live and do this together.
of course we are in different time zones so it wouldn't be Amrit vela everywhere but I think it would work really well!!! Then we could share our different techniques and ways to do it and take turns participating in each other's simran.

Mysimran.info does have the conference call system. They do it 6 am/pm to 6:45am/pm. But nobody ever join them, I tried three times I was the only one in room lol. But feature here is a good suggestion, unless people start using it for debate lol .

I agree with @dalsingh101 on this one. What is it about so many apne that makes them completely throw away their wits when it comes to religious discussions?

One side thinks we are doing baisti of Guru Gobind Singh by not properly recognizing his bani...and the other thinks we are doing baisti by mislabeling stuff as his bani. Camp A wouldn't be able to stand the GGS being labeled as a ruse and fake, while camp B would get up in arms if a random dera baba named his Granth one of the Guru's canon. Both concerns are legitimate, which goes to show why the argument from blasphemy DOESN'T WORK.

What we should be focused on doing instead is properly evaluating the history and facts of the text. Just cracking open any number of works written by Sikhs in the past would reveal the DG is in no way a plant by Brahmins/RSS (just as it would probably also shut up the Neo-Nihang posse that calls it "Dasam Guru Darbar" in addition to "Adi Guru Darbar"). As to which parts were written by the Guru himself, which parts by the poets, and what the purpose of the Granth is in Sikhi in general, there remains discussion and debate to be had--discussion that can easily be reasonable and intelligent, if people put enough effort into it as they did crafting creative ways to call the other side nindaks.

Is it an ego thing? Look, if people are genuinely misinformed, you have to actually inform them of what they're doing wrong. Obviously there will always be people who are out to make mischief but I think at some base point you have to assume good intent...

Also, @N30 S!NGH, where can I read something comprehensive on the usage of Sargun in Sikhi?

@chatanga1 what was the role of the poets in CharitroPakhyan? I didn't read the original exchange with Khoj, just interested as to your thoughts.

Don't get stuck on one end of the stick here!   You see, a spiritual experience actually occurs every time one sheds away a layer of ego. There are many layers of ego that have to go one by one as the transformation of a Sikh occurs. Yes, some can fall victim to shedding 2 layers and then gaining another 4, but this is the way 5 dhuts work. You may think you've achieved kaam or lobh but the haumai may end up quadrupling or moh may also double. We don't need to worry about the judging of others 5 dhuts. We need to worry about ourselves and our own Transformation which will only begin when one starts purifying and shedding their own layers.

That's good.............but Sat, it's actually a little more than that.
You see the mantra itself helps to wake up and manifest the powers of the MIND.
Our limited buddhi doesn't even realise the powers that are hidden and tucked away in this Jyot Saroop Mann.
Thus, Mantra is a 'tool' that is specific in knocking and waking that mind.
    NOTE ...man-tra is man=Mind and tra= Tool.
