Yea worship of guru was a tradition long before there were even our 10 gurus. Sargun worship of Guru Sahibs was there during the time of 5th Master himself, who says - Aadi Guruay Namah. Who is Aadi Guru? Guru Nanak Dev ji and also Akal Purakh. Tons of examples of this.

I think SSC is just riding on the current wave of anti-hindu thinking, which is really prevalent.
This anti-Hindu thinking naturally lends itself into many other domains such as anti-Dasam Granth, anti-Ritual, anti-Sikh Itihaas (tilak ceremony of Gurus) and even anti-Bhatt bani, anti-Bhagat Bani, and anti-Bhagti!
And this is not a new thing, been going on for a century at least. But I don't think it was this extreme back then, who knows?

I live in NCR region of Delhi , what good job AAP is doing.AAP is just like other party , don't expect any major changes , also AAP is dominated by liberals so don't expect Big turban , khulla daara politicians ,their leaders will be like Bhagwant mann,  and there is good chance that many of AAP supporters are not going to be pro sant samaj  , DDT . Are orthodox sikh communnity ready to accept this?

Just eat special langar at any rich Gurdwara and if you don't have control you will feel the same.I used to be so lalchi that whenever tasty langar  was distribuited I used to eat 5-6 roti's along with rice kheer etc.From past 4-5 months I changed this habit.Moral is if you don't have control , it doesn't matter whether it is hearty veggie langar or meat curry ,  you will suffer

When you have a culture where old age responsibility of parents is solely on sons then is it any wonder people want son.Just imagine 3-4 decades back  a couple having daughters have some serious health problem in village and their daughters are married in other villages with no phones or quick transportation available . then what will they do ? ask neighbours for help
Some people in india tried system of ghar jamai means bringing son in law , but only very lazy or money hungry men did that so it become but of joke.
Many families in India even force their sons to leave education and join father's business or help him in farming , so no choice for chasing so called dreams.

But cow slaughter and export is banned , Sikhs along with Hindu's go voilent , why this discrmination between two motherly figures cow and buffaloes?

I am not saying India is sikh state or Hindu state but the fact that you will hardly find any sikh who consider Buffalo motherly figure or who feel pain when Buffalo is slaughtered . But there are plenty of sikhs in India including lot in many who do consider cow as holy and don't like them to be killed or want to go to near their meat

Sikhchic is hardcore anti Hindu site. They don't even allow comments which defends Hindu 's or anything . All they allow Blatant bashing of India and Hindu's
