Dear Lunalon,
we are already failed, and our condition is hopeless and of pity. So any devotion done, even for any selfish motives, in His court is accepted.

How one calls one´s father, that is not much important. He knows how weak we are. But anyhow He is such a wonderful Father, that He says, though out of pain or despair just remeber me, just call me with a sincere heart, and see I will come running to your aid.


But there is definetely a difference in calling a worldly father and a heavenly Father like Wahiguru Akal Purukh.

While our calling Him, we are elevated, our consciousness soars high in the spiritual realms. And when we thus communicate with Him in this way, we are spiritually washed, our thinking and understanding the laws of Nature undergo a drastic change, in comparison to the earthly point of view.

Now in our present condition, we may question Him about our so called problems of any type, be it may health, mental, economical ... or any other .....

But once we elevate even a little bit our consciousness within, then we shall not even ask Him any such selfish things .....

Otherwise it is more likely we blame Him as usually we do. We may not voice our thoughts, but surely more than once we may have thought, my God, why me?

Why do I not get this or that ? Or be like him /her, or even better.... and an endles such list....

We should keep in mind, He is a Perfect Being.

He can make no mistakes.

And so, if He can not make mistakes, then, what is there for Him to rectify?

It is we, who are short sighted. And we are telling Him to do this or that, like if He was the Aladino´s genie in the lamp.

We do not try to know and understand the Nature, but rather we want the Higher consciousness, to come to our level and get involved in our selfish petty minded game... Is it not moorakhta from our side, to do something which is unlogic? Then too we harshly blame Him, for not fulfilling our expectations, and so shamelessly we say God does not exist ....

Dear Lunalon, I am not disheartening you or anyone...but it is better, if we go through the precious priceless Bani, and dye ourselves with the colors of His Beant wadeeayee . Then there will be no complaints, but only "shukur hae Sachay Patshah" on each step in our lives.

For example,Christ was nailed; Dhan Guru Arjun Dev Maharaj was ill treated badly and tortured physically ...

Just let us think a litle bit, they were the embodiments of that Supreme Power.

What could they not do if they wished to? By freeing themselves and punish their culprits...

But instead, they said: Tera bhaana meetha laage ....

In these 4 words, if paid proper attention there is a lot of wisdom for us humans to learn and apply it in our lives. Then almost all of our problems shall vanish away...

But anyhow, as brother Sat above, has soundly said: "in the house of Guru Nanak even those things can be changed".

Or even as brother Jaikaara has beautifully said: "If we can do Naam Simran abhyas ..we would achieve that level when everyting will be Gurparsaad..."

So in the end we could well say, it is all about, the attitude based on faith and devotion we adopt, to face all situations.

This was a misunderstanding on your part. I feel silly for defending anyone but for the sake of clarification it was meant to be Brahm, as in universal consciousness. 
I am no where near a Sant , not even close to their dust, but Guru Ji is samrath if he wants he can do kirpa on this keet and make me a Sant . May your words come true. 
 
A forum is supposed to be public imo, so everyone can learn from each other. Its not attention seeking, but I was just ticked off when someone is proudly declaring themself as a womanizer, and considering themselves a Sikh, telling others to do Naam Kamai. Maybe my perception is flawed, but thats what my perception was at the current moment of your post.

At the time of registering with this username I was told by a Mahapurush to do jaaps of this path. So in order to imbue this is my daily life, I made this as my username, even my passwords from that period had variations of Ragmala. Also, I am a firm believer in the Baani of Ragmala, so I wanted to make a statement too. You can call it attention seeking, sure.

Do not consider this as ISOLATION/Lockdown having to stay at home with whom we love.
Isolation is what the seriously ill are experiencing in hospital.
Stop saying that you are bored, upset that you can't leave the house; while everyone in the hospital wants to go home.
So, thank God if you have to stay at home, because despite everything, with money or without money, with a job or without a job, you are in the best place you could be, at home, surrounded by who loves you!
Perhaps it is time to transform your house into a wonderful place to stay, a place of peace and not of war, of embrace and not of distance.
Anyway, look with different eyes at the situation you are experiencing !!
Make your house a party: Listen to music, sing, dance......
Make your house a temple: Pray, pray, meditate, ask, thank, praise, plead ...
Make your home a school: Read, write, draw, paint, study, learn, teach ...
Make your house a store: Clean, order, organize, decorate, label, move, sell, donate ...
Make your house a restaurant: cook, eat, try, create recipes, grow spices, plant a garden ...
Anyway ...

be happy for Waheguru has raised your consciousnes/awareness. Do not waste any more time. Learn from your mistakes and move forward faithfully.
If we are boolanhaar, He is sadah bakshanhaar.
So take refuge in Him as soon as possible, and stay safe and cheerful at all times, this is His apaar wadeeayee.
His holy Name, has 2 sided effects, first it cleans us by washing all our sins, and secondly at the same time  attracts us towards Him as a magnet, thus we get closer and closer to Him.

If meat was allowed in Sikhi. Then meat da bhog like karha parshad why is it not done if it was allowed ?

Are you really serious ? I am saying this because you mentioned that you consider yourself a Sikh and you are saying here that you love womanizing and you are flaunting about your Kshattriya-Jatt heritage ? I am also a Kshatriya-Jatt, so what, that does not mean shit. 
Since you consider yourself Sikh here are some words of the Guru for you and everyone to reflect upon. 
Guru Amardas ji says on Ang 112, Dehi jaat na aage jaaye, the body, status and caste will not matter in the afterworld
Guru Nanak Sahib says on And 349, jaanho jot na pucho jaati aage jaat na he,  see the jot in all , in the afterworld no caste/social status exists…
Guru Amardas ji says on Ang 426,  bin naave sab neech jaat hai bista ka keeda hoye,  without Naam we are all low castes like microbes in shit…
….and as such there are innumerable examples in Gurbani that teach us not to be egoistic or prideful about one’s caste because it does not really matter afterwards. Only those are parvaan who are imbued with Naam.
And regarding the Womanizing aspect here are some teachings of the Guru since you consider yourself a Sikh
Par triya roop na pekhe netar... do not look at the other's woman with your eyes, Guru Arjan Dev ji mentions in Sukhmani Sahib
dekh prayian changian maava dheeyan bhaina jaane ...consider others as your sisters, mothers, and daughters...
eka naari jati hoye par naari dhee bhain vakhane... be jati with your own wife and consider others as your daughters and sisters...
Guru Gobind Singh ji mentions in Charitropahyan that my father and guru advised me  nij naari ke sang nit neh badhyio par naari ke sang bhool supne mein na jayiio...
Do not even go to other woman in your sleep ...
supne bind na deyi jharna.. Gurbani says dont let your bindu or semen out even in dreams
...those who hug prayi women they are made to hug hot iron pillars in the afterworld... 
You get the point. There are many countless examples from Gurbani which strongly advise against being a womanizer in order to be a True Khalsa and Sikh. 
So either you are totally ignorant about the teachings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, if you are do some introspection since you consider yourself a Sikh. But I feel you are purposely generating controversial statements, trolling, to generate strong reactions for your own entertainment. 
Whatever the case maybe its my duty, being a Kshatriya lol, Kshatri ko poot haun baman ko nahi, being a Sikh, on a Sikh forum to condemn the concepts of flaunting ones caste in egoisim, and prodly declaring oneself a womanizer while considering oneself as a Sikh....

No, cuz a lot men are dopes too. Playing genders against each other is not what we do, that’s what I was trying to point out. A lot of Sikh women fought in wars and such. Biologically it’s a different story, but we can choose our behaviours. Westernization says man = bad and brave or loser/emotional and woman must fight man for power or trick them. I believe Sikh thought is more like, all of us are bad and we must accept Guru for power, and we get it, usually.  Lol

No offense but when Men do express their feelings, its usualy straight to the point. Some women (not all) would cry, then the man would will feel bad. THIS IS WHY MEN DONT EXPRESS EMOTIONS. I would say go for a nice guy but then most women hate nice guys. Men and Women are different but both CAN work together, Ying and Yang. This is the dualistic nature of the world.

Nothing happens without karma. Whether familiy, friends, foes, loss, gains, birth , death, everything happens  with karma. There is although little free will. But this free will exercised   will be added in our store karma, and will ripe whenever and wherever the wise Nature thinks fit. Our limited present is a tiny fraction made out from our total past, and also our limited present will be added in our  karma storehouse.
So this karma theory is the secret of maintaing the creation in motion, from which none can escape, not even avtars, gods, godesses, devis, devtays, nor trinities, shaktis..... 
Only Guru Sahiban, Gurmukhs,  and Bhagat Jan of highest order, are the masters of the karmas with which they come at our human level, and the greatness about them unlike we moorakhs, is that they live accordingly and respecting the laws of Nature, they do not manipulate nor bribe anyone.
Living in His will at all times,  is their given  Hukum.  This is their apaar greatness, such is their sincere humility.
Though the effects of karmas and vikars, are terrible upon all beings, yet Waheguru, from His infinte love and mercy for all jeevas, has also given us a shelter to minimize and overcome those horrible effects on the jeev atmas.
But alas, nobody pays attention to it, though they may have memorized the Bani with each and every verse in it, but yet, they do not do, what the Bani, repeats constantly through out. 
One such descriptive verse is : AVAR KAAJ TERAY KITTAY NA KAAM, MIL SADH SANGAT BHAJ KEWAL NAM
This is  how, Kal, Maya and the mind, with its subordinates vikars, cheat the soul, making them believe, that whatsoever practices they are doing are very much accepted in His darbar, then again and again jeevas are dragged drowned into  the endless cycles of births and deaths.
You see, the main goal of sikhee is to set us free from all these dacoits mentioned above by defeating them with the sword of His Nao, and then go towards our origin Waheguru, just as bullet shot from a gun, to finally merge and become one with Him.
That´s it.
Seeing other souls, karmas, devis, devtays, trinities and whatsoever one wants, can be possible, for that, we have to arise to a certain conscious level within us. 
At our present level, we may be wanting all these things and find them logical to an extent, but that much can also be said, that once one engages in the devotion of His Nam bhakti, and as one progresses on that inner path towards our goal of Waheguru, by His kirpa, we start tasting the sweet Nectar of Immortality, or let us say Amrit Bani within us, and thus we want nothing, but Him only, just as a child lovingly and one pointedly "looks" at his Mother, for he knows nothing else besides his Mother.
This is the state of a true gursikh, all his earthly wishes, queries,  doubts, just desintegrate automatically, and one is left with only one burning desire, and that one is of  the meeting as soon as possible with his beloved, Waheguru Akal Purukh.

what is there to fear about?

If He has blessed you with ajaapa jap, then stay there as much time as possible in that state.... Havent´you seen or read of rishis staying in that state for days, even months?

You see, when you stay in that state, one is like a baby in His arms. No hunger, no thirst, no pain, no sufferings, no karmas, mind or kal can interfere in those moments...what else do you want man? It is the most blissful state.

From your post I perceive, you are like a child learning to walk in spirituality.

Do not fear, with His Simran, you are holding His hand, now your next step should be to make yourself stronger in this field, so that in due time, you will not only walk or run fast, but even fly within, in the subtle spiritual planes, without you noticing it..

Once there, pray to Him sincerely, so that He may give you His Darshan, and guide you further until His Dham Sach Khand.

In my opinion, that is all you have to do, nothing more. But at the same time thank Him with your heart, for being so Dayal.


And once in His sharnagatee, through ajaapa jap, He takes care of all our affairs, whether swarthee or parmarathee.

So now you tell us, what else if anything left that you think you have got to do?

Do not attempt to do anything, that would be manmat, just leave yourself in His Mauj, and see how beautifully He makes you like Himself, that is His beant wadeeayee.

Dear Ragmala,
you must bear in mind, that since we have left our Father´s House, Sach Khand, we have been collecting dirt on our souls. And this has been since countless aeons....

So do you really think or anybody that with some time given to simran, one can wash all of one´s huge filth?

The mind has been wandering since then, not even for a second it has stopped to rest ... it is continously runnig outside in the maya powered by the 5 vikars ... so however one´s strong efforts maybe in bhakti, believe it, we by ourselves, can never ever reach or have any spiritual achievements...

So then what to do?

Leave yourself as "kookar" at His Door without wavering .... It is by the water of His Daya Meher, that we can be washed and become pure paviter.

You see, when you say it seems you have gotten no where ..... remove away even those thoughts, because in that way, we are not totally given in His Dhyan, as we are still conscoius of ourselves of not having seeing or feeling anything ....

In His bhakti, we have to behead ourselves, not literally, but, means to be motionless, mindless ..... then when the haume, or I /me vanishes with His Simran, only He remains.... and then we shall have His Darshan.

Veer ji i tried meat when i was a teen due to bad influence and luckly didn't get any addication to it when i stopped it less than a year later back then.
 
I remember not having any good tasting meat at the time lol and looking back now i don't remember it being good compared to the other stuff i love such as kadhi pakora, ghiya kofta,aloo badiya,aloo wala paratha,kaju barfi,raasmali etc

I used to be a non-veg.  When I was pregnant with my first baby, I was cooking chicken drumsticks one day. I had a sudden thought that my baby would have similar size legs and what if somebody cooks my baby and say something like-'yeah its tasty or no its yuck.'  It was very difficult to get rid of that thought afterwards.  First I stopped eating the pieces (only tari), and gradually stopped everything.  I could not stand chicken or any meat's cooking smell now. Both my sons are vegetarian too. yeahhhh

Their  present bad character is due to their past karam, and they being vegetarinas in this life, is only to not go with heavy karam when departing from this plane of consciousness, and while being bastards in this life, is also bad karam  which undoubtedly they will have to pay for.
Nothing goes un-noticed in Nature, howsoever microscopic or hidden, each action commited has its reaction, whether by thought, deed or verbal.

For once one bad word is said, that triggers more anger and hatred, then usually one loses the inner balance and is lost in nonsense.

No point living in the past and keep on beating up yourself. You have apologized. That was a good move. It means you regret your actions and fully repent.Don't ever do it again.
Focus on the current time and moment. I'm not an expert in this but the best thing you can do now is start with Naam Simran. Without a doubt it helped me when I was in trouble and it would help you too.Make Simran part of your daily routine. Start with 5 minutes a day. Don't worry about amount of repetitions or any special technique,just totally surrender to Waheguru and start as soon as possible.Wish you all the best.
