I could not understand anything you wrote, what are you saying jaap sahib and Swaiyee were not read by Guru Gobind Singh Jee during first Amrit sanchaar 1699 and these were added later what? Clarify yourself.

its sad because we have attachment to body...a feeling during life that we cannot live without it..
believe me, your fear of things like this will slowly go away...the more you do Simran. Fearlessness will start to develop within you the more you start to realise that you are so much more than your physical body...your capabilities are way beyond the limits of your body

You are grossly misinformed. I am assuming you been victim of propaganda from gursant singh. What a petty points to make a issue.
    1. Whilst they do have white tantric session / camp every year, white tantric hocus pocus stuff is not a integral part of their 3HO. In order to proof white tantric yoga is integral part of 3ho, they have to do it in daily lives which they don't, let me refresh your memory- they get up amrit vela at 3 am, do japji sahib and do kundalini yoga, and many also in kirtan jatha, so they do kirtan bhagti which is very much part parcel of sikh dharam.
    2. Kundalini yoga/even hatha yoga incorporated with sikh mantra is done by udasis and nirmale- sikh order in the panth prior to 3ho, there is evidence kundalini yoga is done traditionally so its not a new thing. In fact, many nirmale and udasi intially use hatha yoga/kundalini techniques to do sukhmani sahib other gurbanis for example- do one asthpadi in one breath to enhance concentration as traditionally breath follows consciousness, consciousness follow breath wherever the breath is that's where our concentration/chit would be. One can actually try this practically even now just hold your breath for 20 secs you will see your consciousness locked in cannot wonder anyway. There is nothing hindu about it, many buddhist monks used kundalini techniques as pointers to transcend. It's science of human body subtle energies, energy points, consciouness, mind, soul
    3. What yogi bhajan is and wasn't its open to interpertation by all. I trying avoid talking about personalities. He was given sri singh sahib title by sri akaal takh jathedar and same intuition which is bestowed title of bhai sahib to bhai sahib randhir singh.
    4. You making it sound greeting satnaam is anti sikh or something, let me make it clear Vahiguru ji ka khalsa Vahiguru ji kifateh is not replaced by satnaam, these are two separate greetings they consider it two separate greeting, 3h0 never replaced it. In fact i hear them using both. Satnaam is part of mool mantra, and great shabad on its own- Sat-true pure existence, naam - name.
    5. Whilst i agree yoga is been commercialized traditionally yoga term is pure union, real meaning of yoga is yoga chit birthi nirodha as per sant gyani gurbachan singh bhindranwale uphold traditional meaning which means any technique which helps bring consciouness one pointed.
Anyway, here is the real true essence meaning of yoga in three words:
Yoga Chit Vrithi Nirodha - Yoga Sutra -Patanjali- patanjali is consider gurmukh as per bhai gurdas ji.
yogaḥ = (nom. sg. m. from yoga) yoga
citta = (iic.) all that is mutable in human beings; thoughts
vṛtti = (iic.) thought-wave; mental modification; mental whirlpool; a ripple in the chitta. A vritti alters perception like a misconception, or as waves on the surface of a pond obscure or distort our view of the bottom.
nirodhaḥ = (nom. sg. m. from nirodha) to find tranquility; to control/Ceasation of chita vrithi(thoughts/mental thought waves) leaving one in yoga- absolute union
    6. There is no evidence of 3ho sikhs opening up their kesh infront of sri guru granth sahib ji, if there is then please show it. I be first one to condemn it. Thats indeed bad. I am not questioning this incidence but i like to point i wouldn't believe what gursant singh has to say as in the past there are instances he twisted many things even to this day.
    7. You obviously haven't been around old traditional sikh school of thoughts, they all do. In fact many sikh saints do- fruits is as natural satogun food nature has to offer, sant jagjit singh harkhowale, rara sahib, nanaksar they all give fruits when karah parsad is not available.
So this is most nonsensical petty argument. What a lame arugment.
    8. Yes i have seen them around hindu idols outside some are in interfaith and other around retreats either way its wrong.
    9. Simran to yogi bhajan, what a non sense allegations, none of them are simran to him rather than creating space within for meditation. Paying respect to him as saint just like other sikhs pay respects to sikh saints. Yes there is evidence of robotic kundalini sessions to get certifications and thats wrong. .
    10. Yogi bhajan teacher was udasi sikh saint from sikh order- sant hazara singh. Whilst he did changed terminology of terms, readjusted yoga to suite western needs but essence of yoga is not changed.

Waheguru is Guru Nanak Dev Jee Guru, Shudh Nirgun sarup. When Guru Nanak Dev was rumored to be drowned in Vaei River in Sultanpur Punjab, at that time he took duty to do prachaar of True knowledge of waheguru. He started preaching after he came out of the river. At this time Guru nanak Dev Jee has Waheguru as his guru, he has taken amrit from waheguru Jee, Of course not khande bate da amrit but that "amrit" is the essence of all gurus till present.

But ask this question to yourselves had you tolerated this if she was a convert from a Hindu Family ? Until now one of you must have hurled abuses ..baahmanvaadi ..rss agent ..etc.
The efforts what the Panth altogether puts to keep a white neo sikh happy had you put for prachaar in the society today the Khalsa would have been more than 20% of the population.

    This again.
Sri Dasam Granth Jee is a gift to khalsa by their beloved father and teacher Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jee Maharaj. Everything written in it is blessing for us, case is that our minds are habitual in searching for faults and wants to pat its ego if he found one. Its like ant mentality, ant may walk on wall but always searches for burrows on it. Everything written on Sri Dasam Granth Jee has a reason, we should be more trusting towards Guru Maharaj.

    A. Guru Maharaj knows the power of pen, details of acts are there because if you can't control yourself and urges while reading in comfort of your room, how can you control if that situation really happens. It teaches to control your senses when Sexual energy is at peak, and stops us to be slave of sexual drive at every opportunity we get. Every Singh at the said time was not Baba Deep Singh Jee, they need to be told these things.

    A. You have to read between the lines, who are these men you talking about, these are battered soldiers, already few in number fighting huge armies with full resources at disposal. Under the influence of hunger, sleepless night and what not. For enemy each and every Singh matters, women can be used to dissuade these Singhs from their purpose, hence the stories. Also who were these women, these women were under pressure or doing it for money. Guru Sahib was warning about these women as vile,       NOT talking about "God" loving women (high moral values) in general.

    A. We have to learn to read between lines, "as you say 40%" this is because sexual energy is base of all human energy either takes it upwards or let it drain in toilet. Poor students like me, needs a lot of examples to understand one simple thing, hence so much emphasis.

    A. Yes to avoid this "psychological affect", Khalsa is strictly instructed to do Nitnem and do Simran at all times, to see god in everyone. But this spiritual growth in dependent on individual sikhs and demands time, for them to see god in everyone and to win their vices for sure. Due to impending wars on their heads, they are warned to look for these charitars, as immediate remedy in war times.

Sri Dasam Granth Sahib put a lot of focus on raising confidence of khalsa, "Swa lakh se ek laddao" needs groundwork, its not mere words. Thus a lot of mythological figures names were used and in Sri dasam granth people with Singh names were shown to defeat them, sikhism was new at the times and people still have natural fear for other deities of india. So by showing them defeating various muslim and hindu dieties names, it installs a fighting sprit in khalsa to take on anyone in the war.

We do say but Sri Guru Granth sahib Maharaj is not only Sikh's Guru, he is whole mankind Guru.
Sri Dasam Granth was written as separate to form panth (religious movement), a religious text to unite sikhs from various walks of life and to have a separate identity.  But we fools make it a point to divide us. Whose fault is this?

ibrute got a reaction from Arsh1469 in Why Sikhi failed to spread
I can think a couple of reasons
    1. Sikh Jeevan means daily routine, here I am talking about sikh who is a amritdhari, we all know how effortful path it is, do daily Bani's and be vigilante 24/7 for kurehits. It demands full on commitment. My point is unless person has both knowledge + faith on Guru granth sahib Jee Maharaj, It is somewhat difficult to go on this path for so long. We all look for shortcuts and came to Guru Sahib for help, only in need, but it takes time and in addition we have to open our minds and ears at all times. Maybe people want lesser demanding gods just do some ritual, and do some offerings and gods are pleased, it is not sikh way, it could be a major reason for people not fully accepting it.
    2. Politics and leadership could be another one, just think I am here referring to Giani Hari Singh Randhawa vs Missionary discussion video posted on the forum, in which he says that the Rehat Maryada code, we see nowadays is just a rough document presented in 1930's. Though all 5 Singh Sahibs of takhts did not agree to it, so it is not duly signed and accepted. That happened 80 years back, in all these years no definite effort was made to correct it and unite the panth with one rehat maryada which is core need, it gives you idea how lacking leadership/politics is in spreading sikh message.
    3. Parents are responsible too, if children are not in sikhi, it is most likely a reflection of parents. Mothers specially (don't get feminist on me), I believe most of us who are in sikhi are because of our mothers with strong sikh roots. Her spending a lot of childhood years with you affects your way of life.
    4. Parcharak (Distributers of faith) are in blame too, in older days parcharak was one who did practical first and then spread the message, a couple of sants like Isher Singh Rara sahib comes to mind, beginners look up to role models, they first saw parcharak's jeevan and later on come to Guru sahib, it could be the reason. In today world with all the media one high avastha parcharak can make the difference to the people who want to enter the faith.
Guru Gobind Singh Maharaj do ardas for us in chaupai sahib that

    "ਸੁਖੀ ਬਸੈ ਮੋਰੋ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾ ॥ ਸੇਵਕ ਸਿੱਖਯ ਸਭੈ ਕਰਤਾਰਾ ॥੩੭੮॥
O, Creator, May my family live in comfort along with all devotees and disciples.

maybe we don't want to become "SUKHI".

Bro I am only stating what I understand from using both mantras as jaapa tools for stilling the mind.
I also really enjoyed just saying Ik Oaaaaaaaankaaaaar. I found that mantra really peaceful and soothing. I even found it easier to focus on that then waheguru gurmantar. It opened up to be a very deep nasal sound when said in a certain way. At the time I was reciting as part of a shabad I was jaaping some time ago. When doing intense japa reptitions you will come across certain words which draw you in more than others just by the way they pronounced and the vibrations they cause within you. Out of all the shabad I was given I used really slow down when saying Ik oankar but speed up with the rest of the words as if just going through the motions to say them.
When it comes to gyan and vichar on words Bro, I'm way behind. In the unpar pindu category. I try not to over complicate and just keep it simple. We are told by our gurus to do jap of naam. I just want to know what is the most quickest and best way to do it then start walking. Leave the gyan to the gyanis and lecturers.

    'Sat Sree Akal Ibrute jee,
just one thing to be kept in mind:
The efforts are in one's hand to an extent, but the clicking you mention above, is in His hands.
Our duty is just to lay at His door as kookars...it is His  "mauj" as per how or when to open.
So my advise is never ever leave His door, even if one's life goes away in doing His bhakti.
Our concern in this spiritual matter, is only to stay  at all times in His "bhaana"

    Sat Sree Akal ibrute Jee,
while concentrating at the eye center, middle of the eyebrows as you say, it is correct. And while being there in the darkness, without any strain, hold your attention in that darkness, and to facilitate your being there, you may repeat Wahiguru as a mantra, and as adised by some advanced practitioners here, when doing the simran, the jap of Wahiguru, listen to it carefully each time you repeat it, it means, being absorbed in  the repetition.
You see all the Akhand Jot and Anhad Shabad are already within us, it is by our concentration on this jugtee, with love and  faith, that our filth wil start being erased ..... and with His Apaar Kirpa, we shall merge in Him one day.
As the Bani says: Anter Jot, Niranter Bani, Sachay Sahib siun liv laae.
This means, within us there is constant Jot of Wahiguru, and  His divine melody in the form of Shabad, and  we, by attching ourselves to this " consciouss energy" within us, we shall have unwavering firm love, in the Lord Wahiguru Akal Purukh.
Then no matter what may come or happen, even if the whole world stays against us, we shall not doubt even for a second, on Him.
This is how Gurmukhs are, and in the same way as they did by following Gurmat, we can become one of the beloved Gurmukhs of Wahiguru.
To become one with Him, we have to become a Gurmukh, with all that implies...there is no other way, try how much hard one may.
Because if Wahiguru is one, the path leading to Him, has to be one. It can never be different for the people of different times, communities, faiths, dharmas, castes, colors or nationalities.
Outside there may be a thousand paths, but they all lead to "nowhere, there where He is in reality".
On the contrary, as the Bani says in a simple and beautifull way, for all beings, be them may from any corner of the creation, without any restrictions:
Nanak, Naam Jahaz hae, jin  chareeya, se utareeya paar. This is universal path for all times and places, be it Satyuga, Tretapur Yuga, Dwapur Yuga or even now the present Kal Yuga...
That is why the Bani says: Jug chaare, Naam outam, shabad beechar. Throughout all the eras, the path of Naam is the highest, just think about it and keep it in your mind. Guru Sahibans, have give us the daan of their wisdom in the form of their teachings, in order to put them into practice into our lives for our spirutual upliftment, but alas, we have put them into the boundaries of our manmukhta, thus we can never follow them fully, neither can we do them any justice....
Not that we have no love for Wahiguru or Guru Sahibans, there is no doubt in it...but the thing is, we have manipulated their teachings, and neither are we bothered to put them into a practical way in our lives as they wanted us to do,rather a lot of maanmat has been added to their Truth, and thus dilluted it.
Their main message in simple words  is: Ik Oankar, Satgur Parsad, Jap.
That´s it, as simple as that, and as complete as that also.
Guru Sahibans have clearly chalked out the path  for us in the line above,  to walk and reach Him.
Now the choice is ours, to be a stupid manmukh, or be a wise Gurmukh....
    Sat Sree Akal.

Ibrute ji, .....There should be no strain !
The Idea is to have your "attention' at that point in the beginning and not to be trying to hard to physically focusing there.
From my experience only.....I would suggest that you imagine a screen in front of you when your eyes are closed. Then you can even put your finger at the point to start with, which is just slightly above the middle point of eyebrows or where women usually have their bindi.
Then, imaging you are standing at that point and step back very slowly and comfortably as if going inwards and behind your eyes,(At this point your eye muscles may move slightly and that is ok )..........Then, just put your attention right where that finger spot is and you shouldn't really feel any eye muscle motion.
You will find that the eyes will actually become 'completely still" very near there and bingo!!.......that's exactly where you want them.
The ''stillness' and focus is the key that will lead to progress and it should all be in a relaxed and effortless mode.
...Give this a try and see how you get on in the meantime..... But if you are still having difficulty trying to put your attention in one particular area whilst maintaining some stillness,.. then I can give you a few more further tips to get some practice.
