The links have been posted already but I would encourage everyone to join Bhai Simranjit Singh Tohanas telegram group. 2 live sessions a day, 14:30pm and 12:30 midnight. The katha is then recorded and uploaded to the group but the jugtian bhai saab explains and goes through with the sangat are not always uploaded so if you can, you really need to join the voice chat live especially the early morning one.
I would also join bhai Amril Singh Shahdihari groups on telegram. Again, plenty of live akath katha and q&a sessions.
Anhad shabads, sehaj dhun, amrit ras and other stages are all explained in detail.

Brother I do not want to dissapoint you, but we have to understand that spirituality has to be done within the mind, if only we want to go beyond the spheres of matter and mind.
The purpose of real bhakti as suggested by Guru Jee, is to loose oneself into it, for if any counting is done with the body/mind, means that we are much with the body, and the body or mind is a barrier in our spiritual path within, which can only be overcomed by submitting oneself completely in the jaap of His Naam.
Then too, when He has given us so much without any limits... we make big countings and tell Him, here you have this much from me....
Let us ask ourselves, could this be correct?
Can ever a child repày anyhow his father´s/mother´s selfless love for him even before being born? Does ever a parent want his childs earnings?
Nope, they do not even look at that. For what they only want is, that their child hugs them closely and tightly . This much is what they want.
Now, if the child shows them a petty handful of cents/pennies from a distance, and says here are these  for you and goes away, in which way has that child make his parents happy or make them feel being loved?
For that is what we do with our huge countings, we are just waiting to finish the countings and get up as soon as possible and go away.
    So sad, so pitiful.
If our countings were the real bhakti, we would surely have derived some"rus" from it, and not wanting to get up, for when we merge into His sacred Name, we taste that Amrit which wants to make us keep on going with that devotion, and not wanting to get up.
That is a sign of our devotion being accepted at His darbar, and in return by His grace we taste that Amrit within us.
It is not the time, the quantity what He wants from us, it is the quality of our prem, of our pyaar, what He looks/expects  from us.
You know what, when we merge into His jaap, it is like going towards Him and hugging Him, for only then,  I, me, mine, do not exist, only He and our jeev atma exist, without any distances or barrirers.
This is the "prem" He expects from us, and this is the quality of prem which Gurbani refers as "Jin prem kiyo, tinhee Prabh paayo".
In this type of prem, the lover ceases to exist, and only the Beloved(Waheguru) exists.
In true love, only the beloved exists, for in that type or quality of love, we get merged into it, and directly  reach the Beloved´s heart.

I see where you are coming from paaji. No probs,.. I'm not gonna break your faith but some of us have also been at the same stage you are at. We too were questioning the authenticity of what is shabad, what is dunn, what is naam, anhad, toor, naad and so on..  From my experience you can ONLY learn and understand this part of bhagtee in stages. The stages of your own self-progress.   There is no black or white method of describing it in paragraphs and learning it without self-practice.
Yes, there are many nishanees for different stages of shabad but as far as I know, The 5 dhoot are ONLY left behind when in chautha padh.   However, once you get naam pargat and have crossed the 1st bhavsagar, then you can  be protected/shielded (free from)  low vibration entities of different  kinds, but you will never be free from the 5 dhoot whilst your MANN and atma are in  astool form.  The khel is about the 5 dhoot and your mann constantly. as long as you are having vichaar/furnay/thoughts of any kind, ..then the 5 dhoot are always tagging on.   These are some of the key points that I can give you and I'm stating them with relevance to gurbani. I suggest you have a good read through this thread from the beginning and things will become a little less fuzzy.
You are questioning these things, and I'm glad. it shows you have the drive. My advice is that you practice simran with faith and don't ignore any sounds you hear. That doesn't mean you follow them or try searching for them. They come in time and if you read back older posts you will see how me and some other seekers found our way through certain sounds we experienced.  Only after you have heard them  will you begin to understand what is true anhad i.e.. when listening in chautha pad avastha(outside of tre-gun maya) and what are pavan shabads. Another thing is , Amrit rass. I remember reading a number of texts and many of them didn't mention the sweet amrit rass or it's stages. Amrit rass is a must and it's the earliest nishanees of you walking the right path. But amrit rass itself has different stages of 'where' you are drinking it from, even though there is only ONE amrit.
I'm not saying I have the right answers, but the little bits I'm telling you have been confirmed with what Bhai Simranjeet Tohana ji and other gurmukhs have stated on many occasions.
Other piece of advise  I can give, is for you not to be trying to jump ahead. All this does is create self-made gyan and more thoughts for the mind. Instead focus with 100% dhyian on the stage you are practicing. Whether that is Saas graas, saas saas or antharghat.  Give it your fullest devotion.

Im with Bhai Simranjit all the way although I have not listened to the other clip yet. The thing with chautha padh is that nothing is physical so seeing faces of the gurus whilst doing abhiyas isnt necessarily a good thing and from what bhai Seva Singh used to say, its just kaal playing tricks on you. Same as if you see different coloured lights.
I will listen to the other clip too.

    Bhai Trimandeep Singh jee,
If you recall, I have already conveyed to you the title of a very big gyani. However, that does not give you a blanket license to restate your positions, which you have read about and may or may not internalized, to score debating points.
Pyaar is an important concept of bhakti - all bhakts reached to the levels where their banis were included in Guru Sahib because of their devotion to Vahiguru. You are perennially arguing using quotes from very respected Bhai Randhir Singh (whom my elders have met and interacted with), yet you are unable to grasp the love that he had for Gursikhs...when they would be coming to Narowal (where he stayed) he would do kirtan from his house to the station on foot and welcome them back home. His love for Sant Giani Gurbachan Singh of Damdami Taksal was legendary. Does your writing convey the fragrance of the same pyaar for others on the forum? (Ask yourself and keep that answer to yourself.)
All  I see  is debate and sticking to ones position - this is all vivaad - a path that goes nowhere because there is no respect for the other point of view, and no atmic gyaan for the formula you are repeating all the time ...the hukamnamas from Gurbani that Guru Sahiban got from Akal Purakh after a lot bhakti and in response to a specific question or thought are bandied about in debates without context...just to prove ones own point..
This debate is the bane of all groups which pushes away genuine seekers ...this group has been relatively immune to this vivaad and allow me to request you to go offline for some days or directly write to the other posters, introspect and then consider next steps.
You have in the past agreed to do so but sadly have not implemented it..may I request you now once again with folded hands to take a break and start treating Gurbani with respect and not use it to score debating points.
A rose does not need to announce its fragrance. I am sure you can teach us with your fragrance in due course...
    Thank you for your consideration.

Why would He love people more who do naam jaap if He Is All. You're not seeing beyond the illusion. This entire khel is love, Truth is Love. He doesn't judge and we are noone to judge, everyone is on their own path and stage of learning as per karam. We are already free, He's already all. The way to live beyond the illusion to accept that we are all just Sinners, that we are Nothing, as the Gurus did, that we are the lowest of the low, apply gurbani and then we're being real. Otherwise we are in ego.  The Gurus saw God in their enemies and served moghuls water after they were trying to kill the Gurus army beforehand. The  judgemental fools who fight each other in gurdwarras over petty egotistical matters are noone to listen to or follow.

As the others have said on here, after 12.30am is the most powerful time to start naam simran. Do it for at least 30 mins, but 2.5 hrs is good. Listen to anhad naad, relax and let the samadhi take you, you will start going deep into it. Lessons you learn in your samadhi, apply them to your everyday practical life.
The aim is go deep into the samadhi and stay grounded in Truth in the day. Don't lie, not even a white lie, speak the Truth, do good for yourself and others, have no anger or enmity. You will begin to experience the Truth of the world around you. Read gurbani and do bandgi, apply it to your life and you will walk down the path. If you fall, learn the lessons, make sure you don't make the mistake again and keep walking. The path is never ending, but it's one of love. Respect life aswell, live, enjoy and experience your life beyond the b/s of the five theives.

Not true. Anyone can chant gods name, amritdhari or non amritdhari. There are no restrictions. Were bhagat Kabir and bhagat Farid amritdhari?
And Waheguru is the only one that can give you naam.
not sure of the ang off hand but SGGS ji says. Bin naame mukt na pavai koi, bin satgur ko naam na pavai. There is no liberation without naam and no naam without waheguru.

We will have to agree to disagree.

Waheguru is the same for all. Gurbani says he calls all of us regardless of caste colour, amritdhari or not. Putting restrictions on who can or cant chant his name is totally against SGGS ji teachings and no video will convince me otherwise but feel free to carry on telling people who can and cant chant his name.

sometimes these things can be made far more complicated than they need to be, your post is an example of this.

I just wanted to hear experiences of those who have had or have amrit ras.
When did you first get it, at what stage etc.
With Wahegurus grace, I have been hearing anhad shabad for the last 8 months or so but I have never experienced amrit. I have heard gurmukhs talk about it and have heard katha. Different people say it happens at various stages but I would love to hear peoples experiences.

Thank you paji for the response. What you have said all makes sense however I do have 1 question still.
Regarding the point about those with perfect destiny will unite with Waheguru. I dont and cant doubt Waheguru but maybe my small mind isnt understanding this correctly.
As in my example. The particular person has only now paid attention to what the gurmukh has been saying and has started doing sangat and abhiyas. So if we say he has the perfect destiny but only the gurmukh can see it hence the reason he has put so much time and effort in trying to convince this person to attend sangat.
on the other hand, you have the other person who may not have perfect destiny therefore not destined to meet Waheguru yet he tries his hardest to live life the correct way, does his abhiyas, does sangat, follows anything that a gurmukh may say straightaway and has a yearning to meet Waheguru but just because of past kamai and not having the perfect destiny he is not meant to meet Waheguru?

    Is this fair?
Someone that has no appreciation gets everything but the one that tries day and night doesnt even get a look in because hes not meant to?
Again maybe i have completely misunderstood, maybe because i have been more and more disheartened the last few weeks so im thinking more negative. However i have heard this concept of perfect destiny before and i admit i do not fully understand.
    bhul chuk maaf.

This makes perfect sense. Thank you so much for this. I know that ultimately our goal is to meet Waheguru and along that journey is guess we dont need to impress anyone except Waheguru. (If thats the right word). I guess in this case, the person in question is someone i know well. The Gurmukh has been calling on them to attend sangat for a few years now (they used to attend and then stopped). The Gurmukh seems to take extra time out for them when all i see is that person doesnt really seem to care and takes it for granted. They have now started sangat so maybe that is why the gurmukh tried so hard. In my own little mind at one point i was thinking if they really dont seem to care then why is this gurmukh trying so hard? There are so many others that are willing to listen and do whatever it takes yet they get no attention?

Like i say though, thats just my own small mindedness and silly thinking i guess and I need to focus more on what im doing instead of what is happening around me. I get doubts though, that will Waheguru ever accept me? Gurbani says there is no difference between Waheguru and the mind of a gurmukh so if a gurmukh doesnt like me then what chance do i have with Waheguru?
sorry I know im rambling but i dont really talk to anyone about this and find i can do it here easier
