    A few more...
On the blackboard, an English Professor wrote the words:
A woman without her man is nothing

He asked his students to punctuate it correctly.
    All the males wrote:
"A woman without her man, is nothing."
    All the females wrote:
"A woman: Without her, man is nothing."

There was a science teacher sitting in the back, and much to the male student's chagrin, he admitted the female students were correct.
Without women giving birth, men would not even be here (hmm sounds a lot like what Guru Nanak Dev Ji said!!
And then he told the male students to remember that women can function just fine on their own, while they are sleeping outside in the dog house.

    Which brings me to this:

Dictionary definition of the word "Single"

He meant souls can take different forms depending on their karams since he was talking about duality. Like we are women now but were in men form previously. And all that male and female body is irrelevant, like go to a doc and change your gender lol
You are taking paapiman ji's anger on das ji btw lol. If men are full of ego as you pointed, with starting argument posts you are feeding their ego. You can never ever change somebody's opinion, who does not wanna change it. If someone consider a female body as a punishment, they are losing the bigger picture and without women there will be no man. And about karmic punishment, whether men or women they all go through it.
Funny story since it's a joke section.
i was reading an article by Sant isher singh ji about roohani marg and I read holy "men" and how "men"do bad things , I thought of women rights and you lol
i was talking to someone and he said men are kaami( lusty), I was like women rights, no women are kaami too.
My grandma and mom always call me putt ( son), I thought of women rights and you.
    You are changing me lol

Bro, good question. Hmmm... I will ask him that next time. I met ustad ji many times, though it never occurred to me to ask him about his background. I just mostly talk about myself. Next time I meet up with him, I will ask him about his background.
Well he doesn't belong to any one sampardya. He is kind of a freelancer in that respect.
Yeah I think so. I met Ustad ji in Canada. Where do you live? He could come meet you at your place too. Just give him a call. Here's his phone number - (286) 627-2926. Talk to him on the phone before setting the meeting.

I doubt he will come right away because he is a very busy man. He might show up at your house unexpectedly so be ready for that.

When you call him, show him how you pronounce the word. You might need to pronounce it multiple times. If you care about pronunciation and you show him how well you can pronounce the word, and if he sees you are determined to meet him, he will be more willing to meet up with you. He can judge over the phone whether or not you are serious about this topic.

Gyani Gurbachan Singh Bhindranwale ji sounds like a cool guy.  Level 108? That's sounds pretty special bro. Ustad Nar Singh Narayan ji is at Level 1 still. That's nothing, I know. But he is still a good teacher though.
I still think you should give him a call. He is still worth meeting with, honestly, even if it's only for a bit. I still meet up with him, even though he has already taught me more than I ever knew before, about a lot of subjects, including pronunciation of words. He is teaching still, after all these years.

Ji, the paath in the link you mentioned is done extra extra slow for students to be able to understand the subtle pronounciation sounds. When doing paath normally you would not enunciate those sounds so much. Ordinarily they are very subtle and untrained paathi's do not pick up on them.

Here is link to a site where you can see Gurbani, english, transliteration, and have the recording. You can change settings from preferences up top https://www.searchgurbani.com/guru_granth_sahib/ang_by_ang

Thats why I just grab m guitar and start playing / singing "waheguru" over and over trying different chord runs. But as I said, you dont even need an instrument. You don't need to be on key, or worry about what people think.  Find a place where it's you alone, try at amrit vela. And just sit there eyes closed and start singing waheguru. There really is no need to make it complicated LOL. Like Nike says just do it! Even 10 mins a day has huge benefit!
As for 3HO though I am not 3HO member, I have no problem with what they do, so long as they take care in not disrespecting SGGSJ. Like putting back to SGGSJ while teaching a yoga class. Or bowing to idols, or openly supporting Amritdhari Couples marrying around a Hindu sacred fire with red dots on their forehead (in Rishikesh - the photos of which are available online) or showing 3HO Amritdhari members doing shiv lingam worship (photos also available online). Using gurbani as mantra I don't have a problem with... I often repeat Mool Mantra over and over with guitar (same way Acapella Jatha does it) as well or aad guray nameh (like Singh Kaur - now deceased - did it). --- However as you know I am huge supporter of how they have females as Panj Pyaras ;) photos of that is also available online! Myself I don't follow any specific Jatha. Just Sikh Rehet Maryada. I took Amrit at a historical Gurdwara in Kashmir not associated with any jatha or sect - Gurdwara Chatti Patshahi in Srinagar. (btw even though the panj pyaras that day were males, they spoke directly to us women that day saying there is nothing in Gurbani saying we can't attain same level as males and they WANT (acctually support and desire) to see some of us women who were there that day taking Amrit, in their place someday administering Amrit as Panj Pyaras. ;) So there is no 'fight' there (reference your other post - we dont need to get back into it just wanted to say...LOL). Many Singhs DO in fact support us on equal level! And hearing it from them (actual males) is HIGHLY encouraging and empowering!!!!!  Just the naysayers seem to be louder on the internet haha!!!
Back to simran, that and trying to learn shabads (mostly from acapella jatha) is how I have been trying to improve my pronounciation of gurbani.  Its good practice, and small errors (blame it on my Canadian accent) are usually easier hidden when you are singing :) My FAVOURITE shabad is Ho Bal Bal Jao and I learned it like Acapella Jatha do it (google it - its amazing!!!) Again I use guitar while they used harmonium in that one.

This section was meant for light hearted jokes........but in reality, both Man and Woman are part of the same universe where duality is the primary force. If we want to cross this ocean, then we've got to learn how to traverse this duality.
And where-ever (read everywhere) there is duality, it follows the following common rules:
    1. Opposition: They constantly interact with each other, hence the alteration and development of an object.
    2. Inter-dependence: They rely on each other for existence, coexisting in a singe entity. E.g If we look from space, we see that night and day actually coexist.
    3. Mutual consumption and support: Positive and Negative each give of themselves to nourish the other.
    4. Inter-transformation: Man can become Woman and Woman can become Man....one can change into the other, but it is not a random event, happening only when the time is right....may be next births depending upon the karmas.
    5. Infinite sub-divisibility
let me end this with another joke:
Husband takes the wife to a disco. There’s a guy on the dance floor giving it large – break dancing, moonwalking, back flips, the works. The wife turns to her husband and says: "See that guy? 25 years ago he proposed to me and I turned him down." Husband says: "Looks like he’s still celebrating!!"

Gurpreet i feel what you are feeling and i too am in the same phase ..however i have overcome the feeling to have anyone ..it took time and still do start yearning for sangat at times...i might have mentioned this before in another post and am saying this again..say if you doing simran of the Mool Mantar ..try visualizing every word..

Ek Oankaar - The huge sky with lots of prakash

Satnaam - Here you could visualize Guru Nanak dev ji Maharaj raising his finger, there are paintings in the pose which symbolizing Him indicating that the Naam is the Sat the Truth

Karta Purakh - Visualize the world engrossed in their duties and light flowing in the directly enveloping the world, which means that with the grace of Waheguru everything is happening .
Nirbhau - Blank silence ..fields with breeze blowing ..no movement

    Nirvair - same like Nirbhau

Akaal Moorat , Ajuni Saibhang  - I again visualize the huge sky with bright Prakash here

Guru Parsaad - Visualize the Guru Sahibaan bestowing their blesing on you

Jap . Puase a bit possibly no thought

Aad Sach Jugaad Sach Hai Bhi Sach Nanak Hosi bhi Sach - Visualize the Whole Universe with all the planets the earth ..and Guru Nanak dev ji in meditative pose

I am no expert but i am just giving my 2 cents just as how i feel...sometimes i visualize all of this sometimes just focus my mind on my words ..if this is helping you well and good.

Not that I am aware of but it's all good. I think I will stick to reading the meaning of sggs rather than saying planning to do sehaj paath. Doing from phone or iPad does not give the satisfaction of doing from gutka sahib ji. Thank you . Main aim is to learn and get inspired which I can do with the help of Gursikhs who has done the translation.

It's like 50 mins away and the gurdwara sahib I go to has no knowledge of naam simran. Even on Sunday, most of the people chill in langar hall while ragis are doing kirtan. I used to be one of those people so not blaming them lol but I have to do it on my own, I was trying to find an easy way out I think lol
