Raju reacted to Ragmaala in Help needed
How long has he been suffering from seizures ?
Also see a neurologist, and get started on anti epileptics in the meantime.
Our Dukh/Sukhs is due to previous karams. Naam/Gurbani has the power to eradicate or lower the impact of Pralabdha Karam. We do not know how much papp we did previously so we do not know how much naam/ gurbani we need. But keep at it.
Who is the siddh guru you got in touch with ?

No offence intended but in some of your posts you allude to going into sunn state, which requires pranic balance. How were these things reconciled on that journey? Sometimes people think they are in sunn, but its actually a state called tundra that confuses the aspirant.

1) Lighting ghee in a brass holder, with a pure cotton wick is best. It releases energy into the atmosphere that is conducive to focus. Ideal placement of the lamp is within 18 inches of the nose (which isn't always practical).
2) One should not be concerned about who or what comes. It is very easy to get caught up in divine energies - even shaheeds. Some saints get caught in discourse with these souls, and it prevents them from progress. Keep focus on the goal.

Raju got a reaction from kidsama in How to become celibate when married ?
I cannot speak for anyone else but a brahgyani told me that sex should only be used for reproduction. After a few years the reason for this became clear. Even arousal uses pran. Higher stages of meditation cannot become stable unless pran is stable. A great deal of pran is expelled during arousal and intercourse, and those who have strong desire for spiritual progress will try to abstain once they experience the effect and impact.
Of course, abstinence isn't for everyone, but we shouldn't make assumptions without understanding purpose and how this machine (body) works.
Lust is a big struggle for many of us. Myself included. Even swapan dosh ruins meditation for a while. Many lifetimes of dirt needs to be washed away before we start making real progress.

Raju got a reaction from tva prasad in Importance of tiger skin during meditation
Yes, especially in light of solar energy being more dominant as we move deeper into kali-yug; even the fairer sex is becoming more solar...
Mantras and yogic postures are given out like cheap drugs these days. Back when there were enough genuine lineages, such things were prescribed by realised souls to worthy aspirants based up each individual's chemical, psychic, and karmic balance.

Raju got a reaction from tva prasad in Seeing Aura
I recall being at a Satsang held by Sant Waryam Singh in Chandigarh, 2001. One of the UK visitors (highly evolved), could see auras and had to ask the great Saint to reduce his "jalal", so he could sit in his presence. During a Satsang, he saw a "chakar" and light behind the Saint while delivering a discourse to the Sangat. The person in question was only one step away from merging with the divine at the time (I was fortunate to be present during their conversations)... The meetings between these two great souls were a true blessing to witness. In other words, these things are the result of spiritual practice and show progress. However, one should focus on the goal of practice rather than the phenomenon of it.

Neither does Gurbani completely reject Yogic practices. In fact, scientifically speaking, Yoga is good for the mind and the physical body, which in turn can assist a spiritual seeker in his journey towards Waheguru jee.
Bhul chuk maaf

Yes, it starts before that. Before you attain realization it is possible to fall again, as many of us do.

Raju got a reaction from paapiman in Mool Mantar Jugti?
Read the book Shabad Surat Marg by his holiness Sant Waryam Singh ji. It details the path from Mool Mantar to Gur Mantar, which is what this eludes to (I had the fortune of spending time with them).

Speaking of magnetism; not often one sees "laalee" like this in the modern age. Picture is of a dear friend.

Ida and pingla flow. Only Sadhus have balance in flow. Those of us that have not attained such state are usually dominant on one side. Tiger skin is heating - it is not good to pour petrol on fire...
