this is ghor kalyug today, gone are the days when there were great mahapurakhs.

Its very surprising that I just asked this question an hour ago to a chardikala mahapurakh. He said that bad things will happen but only in a limited space but there are many mahapurakhs on this earth who can lessen the effects of disaster.

Also this mahapurakh me about coming back of Baba Ishar Singh Kaleran wale in forthcoming years, even he doesnt know when he will come back but he will for sure.

This is in reply to material posted by a Guest in other thread. I will speak from personal experience and my personal beliefs in Guru Ji. I do not care about the authenticity of Charitropakhyan from historical perspective. Since, the Chaupai Sahib is well approved by all the Panth, Charitropakhyan comes along with it. Baba Nand Singh ji took the rehraas from Hazoor Sahib, which includes the dohra about 405 Charitars. If there was anything controversial , Baba Ji will not have approved it. That alone is enough for me personally to have faith in words of Guru and Sant Mahapurush, I will not  change that at any cost, no matter how many historical sources this and that you provide me.
There are two questions that I would like to address, and some questions that I would like to ask Anti-charitropakhyan people in the end.
1) How can Guru Gobind Singh Ji write erotica ?
2) If this is bani, why is it not read in front of sangat in diwans ?
 
Ans 1 : Can Guru Ji write erotica ? It really is the fault of those who view it as erotica. When they make such a statement, they are basically assuming that Guru ji is on the same mental level as them. They assume that Guru Ji is affected by Lust, that Guru Ji will get excited when they will write such erotic material or tales. They assume that Guru ji like us find the form of woman attractive or get desires just like them. These people view Guru as a normal human being with desires like them. They think that Guru ji finds this material sexy, just like they do. They are making all these assumption based on their human nature. They do not know anything about the nature of their Guru. They are judging Guru based on their limited experience of reality & bondage of sexual desires, and their own insecurity. Just like no one can know about God, no one can know about the Nature of Guru. We can only say he is beyond and beyond. Neo Singh often does a good job in describing such states of non-duality untouched complete awareness, as evident from Akal Ustat.
          Now I will give my own example. I went through medical school. I have touched breasts, I have done manual vaginal physical examinations with my hands touching each and every portion you can imagine, I have done Pap Smear examinations taking samples from the cervix, I have assisted in deliveries of babies and witnessed the tearing & all the emotional drama. I have witnessed the female form in its fullest, deepest & grossest state. I have dissected bodies, penises and vaginas.   Do you know what was the state of my mind during my exposure ?
                        It was neutral. There was no sexual feelings associated with anything at all. Instead the opposite happened. My libido had decreased to zero after doing those pap smears and handling crazy mothers during delivery. I was not excited at all at the sight of breast or female form.  I was just in that state. The atmosphere was very professional & such thoughts never arose. Thus, if someone like me , who is lowly nothing, can experience this state of non-attachment to female body & loss of libido after so much exposure, do you think that Guru Gobind Singh Ji  who is the creator himself, the one who created Maya will be affected when writing sexual descriptive tales.
 
Ans 2 :   If this is bani, why is it not read in front of sangat in diwans ?
Consider this bani as something which is for certain advanced Sikhs who hold positions of great responsibility spiritually and politically, or saints who need to learn the antics of great maya before they can reach their ultimate goal.  Only those who are medical students & Doctors are allowed to witness & perform the procedures on female body that I mentioned above. Not every joe blow can come in and touch a woman's breast. This is years of rigorous training for a transformation of a medical student into a doctor or surgeon. Think of medical student as someone who risen above sexual desires and surgeon as a brahmgyani who reached his final destination.
If you teach this bani to someone who has not even read Guru Granth Sahib or has not even risen above the Lust, it will definitely seem as erotica. And all these people are only projecting their own insecurities , fears and weaknesses through their anti-charitropakhyan stance.
 
3) Why so many graphic details ?
 When you want to bring a piece to life, details are included from a poetic standpoint.  The details of sex positions, the voices of bed squeaking, ejaculation of sperm, deceit, or others etc recreate the scene and bring it to life. If you are getting excited reading this then you have a lot of work to do. Obviously, this was not meant for everyone. If you are getting weak in your knees reading this obviously you need to do a lot of work. Go apply Guru Granth Sahib in your life before you get to reading these so called erotic tales.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

I had the same question as you,  reciting 32 times vs reciting once 32 praises.
Its a personal preference. I tried reciting it 32 times, it was tough, took me 40 minutes & was exhausted.  So if I want to do it, I just recite it once with full focus. Thats what works for me.
I came across Giani Thakur Singh's katha. He mentioned of a  80 year old Singh who was doing Brahm Kavach jaap since he was 5. He had reached upto 13 crore jaap of Brahm Kavach. So where do you stop ? at 32 or several lakhs ?
 
 
 

My analysis is that people were not there to get any answers. They were there filled with their ego and anger to put down Baba Hari Singh.
The women are all riled up because they felt they were being judged. Pure case of feminism trying to put down a man of high calibre. Did you see how she demanded an apology from Baba Hari Singh . All she wanted was for Baba Ji to suck up to her and say you are right.  Did you see how this woman had cut hair/layered/yes I am judging from outer appearance because mostly it is true. What the hell does she know about maryada. And I feel sorry for the guys who suck up to woman just because she is a woman, without using their own brains to determine what is gurmat or not.
The issue was that the feminist women got hurt /disrespected for no reason and wanted a man of high position to apologize to them and appease their feminist egos.

Sorry to say but there is no medication for this and in  medicine its not considered a problem. 
@Samarbir Singh Wet dreams are of two kinds ,one in which you remember the sexual encounter and another in which you dont have a memory of it. In one you lose the ojas , in another one not much difference. Dont worry much about it. Once you stop masturbating it can take from 6 months to 1 year for wet dreams to stop. but it will happen slowly. 
make yourself busy with other things...dont stress too much about it. stop watching youtube, movies, songs, even news unless necessary, occupy your time with something else. workout like squats, deadlifts also help with brahmacharya.

Japo satnam wahe guru...death is coming close eac second

Rass comes from nabhi; this is the sweet taste in the mouth. When doing swass swass, Simran (doing Simran in mind following breaths), when the swass hits the nabhi (going down), it gathers Rass, and when the swass comes upwards, the nectar-filled breath is collected from the nabhi and comes into the mouth.
ਰਸੁਸੰਗ੍ਰਹਿਬਿਖੁਪਰਹਰਿਤਿਆਗਿਆ ॥
I have gathered in the Lord's sublime essence and cast out the poison.
There comes a stage where you begin it get it a lot, and so naturally, you do swass swass Simran more vigorously and hence get more rass. 
Amrit is a higher avastha; this drops from the middle of the head (Dasam dwaar). This then trickles down; It feels beautiful and almost tickles, lol. Just as a shower head is put under less pressure when your head is underneath, it slowly trickles down; it's the same sensation. When you feel where your joora is, beginning to feel wet, focus (dhiaan) on the middle of the head; this way, it will start to trickle. With guru jis kirpa, Maharaj will bless you with it whenever you focus on it throughout the day. When this Amrit is trickling, it comes down with a sound, like a jingle sound. Once Shabad gets activated, you'll be able to recognise the sounds and know what's coming, just as a mother can identify the baby's cries as the baby is hungry or tired. Similarly, the gursikh will realise that when they hear one sound, it will be amrit coming, and another will take them into samadhi. 
A gursikh should continuously do swass swass Simran and gather rass. What happens a lot is once one gets into pasanti avastha, as Simran is internalised, they do it thoughts alone. However, this way, rass is not gathered from nabhi. Simran should be done in mind but following the breaths. When rass starts to come, one should naturally carry on and drink rass. Gradually with guru kirpa, one will feel the swass coming up from nabhi (leaving nabhi) and then hitting back again when swass comes down. Then it feels like your whole stomach is massive and opening up and coming down. you will literally feel the swass leave the nabhi and then hit back down, like a very soft punch. This is good as it means the body prepares to get rass from Dasam dwaar. swass is a pump for rass in this avastha. Deeper Abhyaas leads you to feel your swass coming up to your forehead and down below nabhi. 
swass swass Simran will lead to many sounds being heard in your ears, ignore these and follow Simran. With guru kirpa, a very high-pitched sound will come from the top of the head (Dasam dwaar). It will be a very high pitch. This is a sign that you're close to Amrit. At the point from which sound comes, focus on it and keep doing swass swass Simran. At that point, Amrit will begin to pour from your head. 
ਝਿਮਿਝਿਮੇਝਿਮਿਝਿਮਿਵਰਸੈਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਧਾਰਾਰਾਮ ॥
Slowly, slowly, slowly, very slowly, the drops of Ambrosial Nectar trickle down.
when this Amrit is pouring down your matha (forehead), then that place is called Amritsar in bani
ਕਾਇਆਅੰਦਰਿਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰੁਸਾਚਾਮਨੁਪੀਵੈਭਾਇਸੁਭਾਈਹੇ ॥੪॥
Deep within the body is the true pool of Ambrosial Nectar; the mind drinks it in with loving devotion. ||4||
ਛੁਟਤਪਰਵਾਹਅਮਿਅਅਮਰਾਪਦਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਸਰੋਵਰਸਦਭਰਿਆ ॥
The stream of ambrosial nectar flows, and the immortal status is obtained; the pool is forever overflowing with Ambrosial Nectar.
ਗੁਰਿਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰਿਨਵਲਾਇਆਸਭਿਲਾਥੇਕਿਲਵਿਖਪੰਙੁ ॥੩॥
The Guru has bathed me in the pool of Ambrosial Nectar, and all my dirty sins and mistakes have been washed away. ||3||
swass swass Simran
Do this as much as possible all the time. a time will come when the breath naturally comes upwards it will automatically do Simran. this will lead to 24/7 Abhyaas.

It was good, forces you to spend time with yourself, your thoughts, and increases productivity. Nice reset. There is a fear of missing out but that is just an illusion, you dont really miss out on anything.

I am going to do an interesting experiment, you are welcome to join and share your experience. I am going to abstain from all sorts of gyaan/media/youtube/fb/ and even katha untill next Sunday. I will only check weather to see if it’s raining, and if I feel really deprived maybe I will listen to Akath Katha in telegram GM group. See you guys in a week. Here is a little analogy that I learnt in katha from Giani Thakur Singh Ji. I find it really neat.
God & Guru are all pervading, and present everywhere.  Lets say if they are like fire.Then pooran sants are like a red hot iron sitting in that fire for a long time.
One can move his hand through fire without much burn, but if one holds iron in his hand he is surely to get burnt.
Pooran Sants are like concentrated form of Gods power who come to this earth from time to time for a short period of time, and take away millions of devotees with them when they go back to Sachkhand.

Listen to this playlist who are interested in keeping purity of mind, and progress in sadhana. It has helped me in past. This mahapurush is genuine , real deal not like other fake babas. You can sense the purity, bhagti and prem in his vachans. 
 
 

I have had this question for a long time and I am sure a lot of us have had this question. This happens because we hear different explanations from different people. 
This is how I have come to terms with it and is my understanding. Please let me know if I am wrong. Gurbani gives us instructions and rehit to follow. When we read with pyar it also cleanses our sins. Once our mind is cleansed it will automatically grab Naam or feel more focused in Waheguru Naam.
Gurbani also tells us to jap Naam. So it is also important to do abhyas of Waheguru Mantra. 
Mahapurush prescribe different medications for different patients. Its not the same for all. For some Japji Sahib, Sukhmani Sahib and for some Moolmantra. In my understanding, the more bibek & sooksham the surti is, its easier to grab or listen to Waheguru Mantra. So all of us have to decide where we stand. Baba Nand Singh Ji used to say that moolmantra is foundation, stronger the foundation, stronger the GuruMantra is. so imo both are necessary. 
I used to think that if I do more gurbani or moolmantra , I will miss on Gurumantra. But thats not the case, all Gurbani and Moolmantra cleanse your mind, and make you receive naam Gurmantra. But its also important to do abhyaas of Gurmantra.
There are some who solely focus on Gurmantra alone. I am not sure about that. But do what works for you. I know pretty much all the great mahapurush focused a lot on doing repetitive jaap of Gurbani. there must be a reason behind it.

Truthseeker you are basically saying Guru Gobind Singh Ji seeked bodily pleasure? You need to understand what a Guru is.
What you are saying is very offensive.

Guru is beyond the body. He is sargun form of Nirankar.

If he can create billions of galaxies in a blink of eye do you think it is impossible for Guru to create life in a mothers womb without engaging in vishe vikaar? Shame on those who think that gurus were involved in sex.

Baba Nand Singh said Guru Nanak didnt engage in vishe vikar. And those who say so are damned.

People. No one is asking you to stop having sex. Do whatever you want. Make babies and have pleasure. But dont say that my father Guru wanted bodily pleasure thus had many wives. And also guru didnt have sex. They have the power to do anything.

And yes try to find Nanaksar nearby. 
But Kaam is a very tricky one, even after pesh it can wreak havoc. So you have to make your mind Pakka. Even after years old feelings can pop-up, so you have to be really sure.
