TBH, I've never talked too much about it in great detail.. I never even told my mother because she was way too drowned in maya. But I can tell you there are many fictional and fake versions out there, so you have to be careful what you read.
It was quite confusing for a few years because there were also a lot of things happening whilst I were in the month long coma. It took quite a few years to make sense of it since I'd also suffered significant brain and spinal injuries.
Did I believe in judgment day, the court or an after life?  I don't think I did, but probably believed in some kind of hereafter.  Prior to 2011, I was typical lad doing lots of bad stuff. and I really mean stuff that I'd be too ashamed to mention on here.  I'd do paaps and hera fairees like the rest of them among me all week long, and then go gurdwara on Sunday, giving large donations in the hope that my guilty conscience may be forgiven in some way.
The thing about getting your hasab done at the court is different for everybody depending on what karams or fates you may have faced in previous janams.  In my case, I had previously begged for another janam to go and jap naam. I had been given this jeevan to do that. However, I came, never japped naam but instead created more bad karams whilst lost in this land of maya.
I didn't have jamms beat me,  but I went past them at one stage and could see them beating others whilst hearing screams and pains of torture. I somehow knew that the ones suffering were there to learn from past deeds.
Nowadays, I understand my sole purpose in life and the certain tasks that I've been assigned to do from the higher sources. Jap naam and bhagtee are the priorities and I try to schedule everything else around that as compared to one who attempts to fit in bhagtee if and where they may have some time

During my nde in coma, I also came back from the court of dharmraj. Was instructed to go back and -nam jap- these were the 2 clear words. I came back and spent a few years from 2011 to find out what real nam jap is and what I should be doing.  I'm on the bhagtee marj but I still have loads to to. Thing that shocked me was the man in video who had been sent back was told he'd got 10 years to go and jap. I wasn't given a time but it is now 2021.. nearly 10 years since the incident.. This is like a kick up the backside because i've got so may things to do in bhagtee and stuff to sort at home..

You don't.   Love can never be developed, so don't ever fool yourself into just thinking about what love is.
The only way the real prem will sprout, is when you sit down and jap Nirankar's name with absolutely NO conditions.....Just sacrifice and offer yourself to him "tera, tera, tera ..."  ... you have to make efforts and changes to do this. After that, it becomes effortless and God will let you know.

Yes, it is mostly crap that you'll find online.
This is definitely possible. You CAN have the necessary info revealed to you, but only in bhagti as far as I'm aware.
Whatever is necessary, and that which would help in further spiritual development can be revealed to you.  You can learn much more about yourself and purpose than you could from some other science.  It comes via sunn, because that's where it is stored. Every time you take entrees into chautha padh, whether momentarily or for long periods: you gain access to this information.    You're surti has already been into the zones of chauthapadh(outside of rajogun, tamogu and satogun), because of the levels you are at.    Only what is necessary is what you will need to know, -->This, is the primary fact you have to remember. It can take a while to start piecing the piece of the jigsaw together, but the universal play(Gobind) can begin to make more sense.

Definitely helps motivate you further and I'm sure you will be able to.   I have a fair idea about myself and would say it's enough for me at this stage.  One can also realize the pre-ordained that may have been re-written due to ones bhagti (raising of surti-consciousness)  The knowledge is undeniably one strong reason for further growth in prem as well as correlating with hukam. It can give a real direction and purpose for one's life that can aid in developing maya dissociation skills.
The shabad can be used, especially if you have naam/shabad. i.e. when you cross the 1st bhavsagar.  I have no idea if someone can obtain it in any other way, and quite frankly, I wouldn't be interested. There is no doubt, that ALL of us have practiced some degree of devotional worship in our previous lives-> reason for this janam. Gurbani says.."Pūrab janam bẖagaṯ kar ā▫e gur har har har har bẖagaṯ jama▫ī▫ā." (Because of devotional worship in my past incarnations, I have been born into this life. The Guru has inspired me to worship the Lord, Har, Har, Har, Har.)
I will tell you what I know and understand in this matter as per truth in gurbani.  The main tip I'd suggest is to have pavan balanced. When pavan is balanced, your thoughts will be in hukam. Certain cluster thoughts can arise suddenly in this state whist samaoing into the shabad. (need to understand difference between cluster & sequential thoughts-->google or can elaborate). In the past, I followed this method with reference to sikhi's understanding of "Thoughts" .  Thoughts are maya (Rajo, tamo or sato) and are associated with elements pavan, fire and water.   My initial insights/awareness of this knowledge were in these states of hukam.   I can give you further details in pm about other forms of how this stuff can reveal itself. But you should get the idea, and you may have already been made aware but didn't realize it.

You should also check this previous thread for more info ...

Simple answer is not a yes or a no... but the question is who is the ''real pakhandi or faker''?
It's me and you mate...us... the manmukhs..that question the integrity or higher order of some other gursikh.
    ....
You may say, ''what gives the other gursikh such higher order or status ?"
Well, i would say that if there is some gursikh or bhai sahib amongst us that could teach us a thing or two, and in turn we may learn something from them..... then in turn, they would have such a higher order/status than me & you.
So if I want to be a faker and question the teacher.. then that makes me the real pakhandi.

Besides the guy doing the slating is from the group of missionaries that deny dasam bani, deny naam simran and very openly promote khula maas(from macdonalds) instead of looking at meat issue with regards to nihang/warrior/jhatka tradition.

They have the charms and persuasions of wrongly distorting gurbani for their own personal agendas.... so what deal and how difficult would it be for them to distort the lifestyle, kamayee, gyaan of some gursikh ?

Lucky got a reaction from Mooorakh in Meditation - My Experiance, Am I Allowed To Share?
I'm just going to share some personal info and tips of how to try and counteract our own personal obstacles in simran.

There are times when you just can't settle in, no matter how hard you try. On the other hand there are times when we settle right in without making much effort.

Like everyone else, I have had very early mornings where I get up all psyched and ready to go battle the 5 thieves in the day ahead. Then after doing japji when i try and settle in to the simran...........Nothing !!
The mind will wander.., i will start again........ and....... nothing again.. ...This then becomes an ongoing cycle and I will look at the clock and think ''why have i wasted 15 minutes trying to settle in.''?

Sometimes, I tell myself that it's not going to happen now and I should maybe attempt later on. Whereas other times I will be adamant that I should be doing it, because even if i try going back to sleep.....I won't.!

It almost becomes a corkscrew effect, because if I try and analyze what thoughts are coming in, they can be the thought of 'why can't I settle in, I was fine yesterday, i've slept, i'm fresh...''...etc
So you end up thinking about your reason of not focusing, which itself prevents you focusing further....

I'm sure we have our own suggestions of what may work for us personally, but I thought I might suggest a few that i've tried successfully, that maybe you could try and think of next time !

    1) I start with just taking a real deep breath in and filling your chest up.
    2) Hold your breath and suspend the chest, and try keep a stillness.
-You should feel a settling in silence from within.
    3) Then let the breath out slowly when you feel comfortable.
(But don't hold it too long so that you reach a maximum point of where you have to get a massive sigh of relief when letting it out)
    4) Repeat this about 4 times OR until you feel that little space of inner quietness and stillness when suspending/holding.

Usually this should work and give you that 'tuning in' kick to get going.

****If this doesn't help, then I usually think back to what I used to do when I started in the earlier days ?
For me, I tend to just picture a mental image of my favorite Guru Nanak portrait or some other Guruji picture in the house.

NOTE- this is not ''idol worship'' stuff,- but a point of focus.
The worship process starts when you bring the gurmantar in, in my opinion, i have never seen it as manmat !

****Another little tip that could be useful after you have started and then seem to drift away is to-
....Just open your eyes and gaze right in front of you without moving your eyes around or looking around the room.
    - Just look at whatever object is in front of you for only a split second, and then close your eyes back.

****-I usually put my focus to a central point in between the eyebrows and slightly higher (agna chakra area).
-Just look for this little dot of light or even a dot that is darker than the background screen you see.
-When you see it keep your eyes on this, as it will help keep the eyes still.
.....I know it gets painful for some people to look at that point, if so you could just look at any central point lower down in stead. This can be the bridge between eyes or the tip of your nose.

****Another method that I sometimes revert to is to put your Dhian on navel whilst listening to the 'Waheguru' gurmantar.
This is useful if you are doing the saas graas /saas graas I explained in ealier post where the navel pull in/out is being used.
I used to find this very useful when i started saas graas because i would get the sequence of -'navel in and wahe'- the wrong way round. The dhian on navel would help keep the correct sequence as well as the simran itself.

NOTE- the above few techniques are about focus whilst paying attention to the sound/dhun of gurmantar.
It's not happening if your dhian is on the navel/3rd eye and you are not paying attention to ''Wahe-Guru''

I will add some more little tips/techniques that i have found useful if you guys find these useful.
Even now, I find that sometimes you forget what to do if you can't focus. So, it's a good idea to 'revise' these like a college student to remember them when needed.
I often read through tips/techniques every now and again as a little refresher course.

My Understanding of saas graas and saas saas simran
It's important to try and understand what Swaas graas and swaas swaas is firstly.
But even more importantly, we should understand a little about what baikhri, madhma, pasant and para mean.
For these explanations, we have some very good info in one post that has been displayed on a number of threads and below is just one thread that you can access this same info for reference.

    NOTE- just to simplify.........
    Baikhri- is doing jap loudly
    Madhma- is quietly, like whisper.
Pasant- is silent jap, where there is no sound out from mouth.
Para- is more further, when YOU are not making the effort to say, but waheguru himself is speaking-This borders/overlaps on further to anhad and rom rom (auto mode)
Before we even attempt rom rom, we have to SET the saas graas and saas saas as primary foundations.
I know there can be a lot of confusion between the two, and I never quite understood the difference for a long time.
But from what I gather and the approach I made, I believe it to be as described below (in brief)
    Saas Graas
This is done using gurmantar with BOTH breaths.
    1) Breath in is ''Wahe'' along with slight pull of navel in.
    2) Breath out is ''Guru'' along with relaxing of navel(comes back outwards)
In between (1) and (2), is an important space of silence or void, that one should try and maintain each breath in and out.
This should be a space of no thoughts in between, but you still have your dhyan there !
So, in effect it will sound like-...
    1- inhale ''wahe''
    2- HOLD, and then
    3- exhale ''Guru''
    It should appear as.......Wahe...silence...Guru, ...Wahe...silence...Guru, ...Wahe...silence...Guru, ...etc....
Practice, practice, practice ...until you are doing this until you can bring ALL thoughts just down to One single thought, and then none !
    then next you move onto-
    Saas Saas-
    1st STAGE
Again, the same gurmantar and breathing technique used, BUT only step 1) from above, while inhaling WITHOUT saying 'wahe' with tongue !
    so,......
    1) Inhale in with SILENT internal 'wahe' with breath and navel inwards
    2) Exhale with 'Guru' out and relaxing navel outwards.
Therefore, you are doing the same as saas graas, but the only sound from tongue should be ''Guru' coming out on exhale, but the gaps, pace and lengths would be the same as if you were saying the 'wahe' as well.
In effect, it will sound like...-
1- Breathe in, (no sound except of breath)
    2- Hold for a second
3- Breathe out with 'Guru' sound.
    repeat.
It should appear as ..Inhale.. silence... 'Guru', .. Inhale..silence...Guru', ..Inhale..silence..'Guru'...etc.
Practice, practice and practice.. Again make the goal of killing the thoughts and using that void of silence to help steady mind.
    2nd STAGE
Eventually you want to get to just doing the breathing without any slight tongue movements.
ie. ... breathe in..slight hold...breath out..... and while doing this you are silently japping Wahe-(in) and Guru-(out) by mentally incorporating the gurmanter in every saas.........this is Saas Saas simran.
The 1st stage was a build up the 2nd stage where there should only be the sound of Breath in and Breath out now (only hear the saas) and the gurmantar is actually in your breath and you can hear it yourself but there is no tongue/sound making movement. Therfore, you will hear it, but others will only hear your rhythmic breathing.
Personally, I think it is easier to always start with saas graas and then progress to saas saas, in every simran session.
Whist also going from baikri to pasant/silent jap.
With time, you will find you start going deeper and deeper whilst listening to the gurmantar.
The other key is to listen, listen and listen.
What I have given above is just the way that I was doing it after researching and reading from all other sources. Everyone can vary it slightly to suit their needs in order to help them get rid of the thoughts and HOLD that mind there.
Once you really start listening to the jap and it starts embedding itself within you, then with Waheguru's kirpa, you shall start hearing the anhad/naad/primordial/celestial sounds or Waheguru's voice itself !
Please don't take the above as official simran rules or anything, because they are just my own final conclusions of what I ended up doing in the end after playing about with all sorts of other jugtees and techniques. They may be of some help to some to some of you who are going around in circles trying to settle in that little comfort zone where you feel some decent progress.

Welcome back, and you got it!   I have a huge problem trying to explain this to people because they can't seem to grasp it. You have to "surrender" and leave ego behind. No questions, no what if's, no what is this or what was that? ... Just devote and give in to the jaap with NO INTENTIONS or CONDITIONS.  The only pre-condition must be that I wanna see and be with my maker.. Just like bhagat dhanna. He could have sat in front of anything you gave him and would have still seen his malik because his intention was completely pure and there wasn't  an ounce of mayavee condition.      I have had countless gursikhs saying I can't progress, I've taken amrit, do nitnem, do sukhmani, do hour of simran...but still feel stuck.  When I ask them what their real intentions are  ie. what is the ardas? do they do it just for sukh shanti and peaceful bliss? ...is it for success? ,  riches, happy relationships,  happy marriages??   The answer is always yes.  Then I tell them that they are doing a sodhha based on conditions and they need to look within.   You can't get enlightened with pre-conditions of maya.  Our ardas is not an introductory prelude for a list of wants and wishes to add on at the end; sadly this is what we make it.
I know of one guy who started seeing the brahm jyot and reaching heights of advanced experiences; simply by sitting down with complete surrender and love in the heart. He used a part visualisation that I mentioned a long time ago to imagine his consciousness shrinking into a small dot and completely letting go of his body. He amended it slightly to putting this dot of awareness directly into the heart chakra area in centre of chest and doing jap with heart beat.  No conditions, no wants, no ardas list, except asking forgiveness for wrongs and surrendering of mann into-> the heart/Atma.

He doesn't say anything wrong directly in the video but the technique he mentions of excessive & forced navel breathing is NOT simran and not what I would recommend to anyone either.   He is correct that this can lead to a "Forced" kundalini awakening, ..but all Yoga's advise against this in general and warn students about not attempting forced kundalini awakenings.    However, the video can be misinterpreted, because he has used the term yojis, very loosely. It gives the impression that all yogi methods are forced and not gurmat. Whereas, this is clearly not the case.
He says that people doing "waheguru waheguru" and no gurbani veechar or paaths is a false technique-> True to an extent, ..but you have to do simran to start going within,..and when you are more inwards, you will interpret gurbani at much deeper levels.  A true abyassee can usually tell if another Sikh has been practicing abyaas in gurmat, if the other's gurbani veechar and interpretation is deep enough and more profound. .Especially with bhagat bani like Kabeer ji and Naamdev..

@Mooorakh ji, Yes I like the way your approach is. It's an extremely fine line between sleep and sunn whilst in bed at night. You only really know 'after' you come out of the state of whether you were there or not.  However, there are also many dream states -or what we may think are supna- that are actually planes/avsasthas of where we are completely jagat.

There's 4 levels of Sunn, from what I gather. The 4th Sunn is the ultimate "sunn samadhi" in which you go directly into Nijh Ghar..Nirankar is in this Primal void PERMANENTLY,  and always was, always will be, but we can only go in and out(since we are jivs in maya)  We can go into chautha padh, ,visit,, and back out again. This is jivan mukhti.  House  of Nanak summary is   Attain Jivan mukhti --> at time of death,  go  DIRECTLY into Sunn Samadh with Akaal Purakh by latching on to NAAM (nanak naam jahaz hai).... Here, you shed ego, identity as you wont need to leave chautha padh again---=>>completely Ik-Mikh....and dissolved.
Yes, some have reported this, but i'm sure it depends on avastha.  Complete manmukhs/paapi.. don't often get second chance unless they were from devi/devte realm prior to birth.
After my personal NDE and coma, I was aware of all  the people i had hurt in my life. It was a really weird perspective because I perceived it all outside of my own ego. As if i could feel the effect the other parties felt after I had hurt them.   One of the first things i was doing after waking up a month later was, asking forgiveness for these wrongs.  On top of all this, I knew  I was sent back to jap naam because that's what i had begged for prior to birth.   I never japped naam before my accident because no one ever told me and i hadn't got a clue where to begin. I took me a few years to work out what to do and how to get cracking at it. At the same time, I also worked out how to use mind to heal myself from brain and spinal injuries.

Yeh, dimethyltryptamine..We had another couple of threads about this some time ago. Naam rus does contain a very small amount of DMT. The shamans in the amazon drink it via ayahuasca, however, they only have divine experience if they are vibrating at higher frequencies. Otherwise, most folks end up having scary trips with jams scaring them and i think it' lower avastha dmt  consumers that could have freaky future and past visions.  I've shared and confirmed experiences with two local dmt users that were quite spiritual and into meditation/yoga.. Their accounts were interesting and it confirmed quite a few things for me.

Ist level sunn is the dreamless state we all go into.  It is the deep sleep when one's mind disassociates from the physical body.  This same sunn is also the sunn of bhavsagar journey from mool duar to trikuti.
2nd level sunn is Sunn-mandal , bathing in amritsar, Also called sunn sarovar and some other names as well. This sunn is where naad is heard, but maya is still on surrounding  as well.  Abyasees can meet other abyasees in this sunn-mandal. It's also the place of void in space.  Alot of cleansing at this sunn
3rd sunn (anhad sunn) is further from sunn-mandal, when one is completely surrounding by anhad naad.  Maya still present behind. One is at the Dar. One hears the kirtan and bani of devte outside the dar of sacha mahal.  One also sees own jyot in this sunn at the same time.
4th is Sunn samadhi. The one where gurbani mentions the vision/ darshan of immaculate niranjan. This is where nirankar is permanently. This is sach-khand. It is only accessed after he opens the door. This is the Primal Nirankar void, behind the ong.

The layout of darbar sahib also constructs the journey of these sunns.

I have found references to these sunns in gurbani, but they aren't easy to explain.  I can attempt a very slow step by step explanation to the pangtees and shabads, but seriously, without experiencing at least 2nd or 3rd sunn, or hearing raags, .doing sant mandli,  etc..most seekers will find it difficult to digest or understand.

That's a very nice way of contemplating.
Just to add, I also had my own thought of thinking of the Guru's charan placed firmly in your heart in that his feet sit at the point where your love and simran begins the ascension ....and this is when your heart lotus blossoms.
Quite a few terms used in gurbani with regards to this like hirda kamal and kamal pargasia.

There is a lot of significance between what the left side and right sides mean and hold.  The right limbs symbolise the doing of "now" and "future'', whereas the left is the ''past'' or what was originally ''destined''. Remember that gurbani tells us we can write our own destinies and change them via our actions of the "now" and "present".
The asana of meditating with right foot resting on top of left thigh is the ideal one and takes some practice, but it is significant for using meditation to transform you towards the jyot.
I think there is a lot more to those fruits than some of us know. Bananas and apples give auras of huge radiance and energy.
The black loi is definitely about warmth, shelter and protection....meaning that when you are meditating with prem to the Lord, then he takes care of all your sheltering and provisions without you having to worry. This is all about faith,... because worrying about food and survival will all lead to Manmat, no matter what route or method we take. I remember in gurbani and even in the bible there is a passage about the birds not having to worry about food for the next day because they are in more resonance with hukam.
I've never thought about the eyes and the looking straight, but it got me thinking and made me realise that it must hold some deeper conscious and even sub-conscious values. Our own Bhagat will now more with his super artistic vision skills, ....but there must be something about the affect it can have on the viewer. I think that if someone tries to meditate just on a number of different paintings to try and get "single-one pointed" focus and dhyian; then they will probably find it easier on this painting, because I know that I certainly do and it can help give you that absorption pretty rapidly.
